From official Forum site.

Congratulations on selecting a hunter!

This guide will get you up to level 90 using what is known as the lvl 12 dagger Full Heal hunter build. This is the build that I recommend to all new hunters starting the game.
***Video showing this build can solo a full C crespo at lvl 60***
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgChDVBZe5o

*Video courtesy of notouchi*

Starting Out (level 1-12):

Until you hit level 12 on your hunter you will be using your bow as your only weapon. At level 12 you will buy your bow and dagger that you will keep until level 90.

Training Location: Outsite Loa/Braiken Castle/ & Lower North Morte/North Aries

Your Weapons to buy:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/stiletto.jpg ; http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/tiny.jpg

Yes, thats right you will be using the same weapon the entire time! A hunter gets the majority of their damage from the skills and not the level of weapon like most other classes. While they are wasting points into str/dex/spr to hold higher weapons you will be allocating all your stat points into gaining more hp and shield.

Stats at level 12: Str 8 Dex 18 Heal 41 Spr 3

Skill Layout at level 12:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/lvl12.jpg

Level 20:

Training Location: Denebe>HeiHarp

Stats at level 20: Str 8 Dex 18 Heal 81 Spr 3

Skill Layout at level 20:

http://i36.tinypic.com/14mte0g.jpg

Level 30:

Training Location: HeiHarp>Frozen Valley>Nunvice>Parca Temple

At level 34 you can now enter the Nunvice Instance Dungeon. This is the best place to train until lvl 45~50 in regards to exp per hour. At level 35 you can enter the back section of Parca Temple, good exp back there.

Stats at level 30: Str 8 Dex 18 Heal 131 Spr 3

Skill Layout at level 30:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/lvl30.jpg

Level 40:

Training Location: Nunvice>Upper Frozen Valley>Norak 2nd Floor>Castor Cave 2nd Floor

Nunvice is still the best place to train until lvl 45~50 in regards to exp per hour. The second choice location is what is known as the “E Room” in Norak 2nd Floor (N2). Here is a picture of the “E Room” :

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/eroom.jpg

Stats at level 40: Str 8 Dex 18 Heal 181 Spr 3

Skill Layout at level 40:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/lvl40.jpg

Level 50:

Training Location: Norak 2nd Floor>Castor Cave 2nd Floor>”88″ in Crespo

Continue to grind in the “E Room” until level 55. At level 55 you may now enter the Crespo Map! The best spot to train from now until level 60 will be at the location called “88.” Here is “88″ on the crespo map:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/88.gif

Stats at level 50: Str 8 Dex 18 Heal 221 Spr 3

Skill Layout at level 50:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/lvl50.jpg

Level 60:

Training Location: Crespo Dungeon C/B runs

Now you are able to enter the Treasure of Crespo Instance Dungeon! You may now join in your first DP (Dungeon Party) This dungeon costs 300k per run and that cost is divided amongst the pt members who enter. The 300k is paid by whomever is the first to enter and all the other members drop their share once in the dungeon for the party leader to pick up. (ie 6 man pt = 50k, 5 man pt = 66k, 4 man pt = 75k)

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/crespo.gif

Crespo DP tips:

-”Fast C/B/A runs” are when the party fights through the dungeon up until the Coffin Monsters then “relogg” to get out of the dungeon. This takes about 10~15 minutes depending on your pt level and is the fastest way to get xp.

-Look for wingers or 90+ players hanging out around the dungeon, they often offer free Full C runs to lowbies while they are farming Argates. This means you get to go in dungeon for free and just watch as they run the dungeon all the while getting free xp. Remember if you are running with these high levels THEY DO NOT need your help, just stay out of the way and do not try and fight along with them. Doing so will most likely just irritate them and not offer to let you come for free again. A pt of 2 wingers can complete the dungeon in about 15 minutes if they are organized, which gives you about twice the xp in the same amount of time doing a “fast run” with a pt of players around your level.

-At level 65 try a solo C run for fun. You should be able to complete a full run by yourself with some practice. This will get you an argate and some gems so you can start saving up money for when you get high enough for the coveted T3 gloves/boots/pants in your 80’s and for a nice bow/xbow at lvl 90.

Stats at level 60: Str 8 Dex 18 Heal 271 Spr 3

Skill Layout at level 60:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/lvl60.jpg

Level 70:

Training Location: Crespo DP > Draco CQs

I still recommend Crespo as the best xp until level 80, but it does get boring so we have a new map to go to at 65 which is Draco Desert. The best xp although is still in Crespo doin Fast B/A runs.

I know you can get into the Draco Desert map at level 65, but the only thing worth doing there is Commissioned Quests (CQs) and if you are only 65 you just get 1 CQ thats just a waste of time. So I recommend going to Draco at level 70 to run both the level 70 and level 75 CQs when you get high enough. Any other CQ in Draco is not worth your time or money, so do not do them.

Stats at level 70: Str 8 Dex 18 Heal 321 Spr 3

Skill Layout at level 70:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/lvl70.jpg

Level 80:

Training Location: Python L1/L2

All you need to do until level 90 now is grind in Python L1/L2. Enter the map and ask if they are any slots in L1/L2 and go to whichever area has a spot open. Once you get there you will easily get the hang of things. Just follow the driver and aoe when everyone else does.

Here is a map of the two locations:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/python.jpg

Stats at level 80: Str 8 Dex 18 Heal 371 Spr 3

Skill Layout at level 80:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/lvl80.jpg

Skill Layout at level 89:

http://i41.tinypic.com/1zybqee.jpg

Level 89~90 Transition:

At level 90 I recommend you throw away those noob weapons and switch to a Bow/Xbow/dagger tribuild.

This is where you will be using one your free reskill and restat that you are offered. The stat reset is done by talking with Kata located in Parca Temple. The skill reset is done at your skill master in either Loa or Braiken.

Buy an inexpensive level 85 bow and xbow, no more than +5. Save your money for good level 95 weapons. You will go from 90-95 very quickly anyways.

As for your dagger, go with the highest dagger you can get while staying under the strength requirement of your xbow. Which means the level 72 dagger with the level 85 xbow/bow and the level 78 dagger with the level 95 xbow/bow.

Recommended stats at level 90: Str 38 Dex 205 Heal 214 Spr 3

Recommended Tri-build Skill Layout at level 90:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/lvl90.jpg

I know there is alot of controversy over going tribuild at level 90, but really V-Shot only needs to be at level 1 for the effect. That gives you 9 free skill points to use in dagger so you can use dead-spin. Plus you have 4 extra skill points which you can add into any of your other skills or use for fishing, like I do.

You are on your own now, good luck with the rest of your time in 2Moons. Cool

*EDIT* For those that do not want a tri-build here is my recommended Hybrid skill layout at 90. The only difference is that V-Shot is maxed. Still with 4 points left over.

Any questions or think anything should be added/edited at the following part.

Well this build is based on what I’ve learned. i still have yet to try out energy hammer, but I’m getting it for the fact that it is the only new spell from lvl 51-81.
1-10: get all 3 bolt spells, mana force lvl 1, and energy mastery level 1.
11-20: get all of the lvl 16 spells, keeping them all level 1. gain seize nimbus. keep putting points into energy mastery.
21-30: gain all lvl 27 spells, once again keeping them all level 1. continue add points to sieze nimbus, mana force, and energy mastery.
31-40: gain all lvl 36 spells, keeping them at level 1 for now. continue to max energy mastery, seize nimbus, mana force.
41-50: begin putting points into lvl 36 aoes. sieze nimbus should be maxed by now. also max energy mastery.
51-60: learn all level 51 spells. get lvl 36 aoes to level 7. Now you can max the lvl 51 or lvl 36 skills at this point. so it would look like this at level 80: lvl 36 spells all level 10/ lvl 51 spells all lvl 5. OR lvl 51 spells all level 8, and lvl 36 spells at lvl 7, and one 36 spell at lvl 8. it’s your choice. Either a pvp focused build or aoe. I personally would choose maxing out lvl 36 aoes.
61-70: get one point into energy hammer if you want to see it, its the only new spell until lvl 81. I can’t comment on its usefullness, i’ve never had it but its gotta be worth at least 1 point. I read that its a melee physical attack. But maybe its very usefull like it greatly knocks back the enemy or it has great range. Besides energy hammer, continue on your path that you chose from lvls 51-60: max aoe or pvp spells.
71-80: continue on your path on maxing out the aoe or pvp spells. These are the hardest levels as you want lvl 81 spells so badly  but just hang in there, with lvl 10 energy mastery, maxed mana force and nimbus and strong lvl 36 and 51 spells you can make it.
81-90: reset skill at lvl 81 to get this build: max out all masteries: fire, ice, lightning and energy. get one point in all active elemental attack skills. max out nimbus and mana force and magic power buffs. I know that you may feel weak because you completely stripped lvl 51 and 36 spells of all their points, but due to the maxed magic power buff and maxed out masteries, you can remain powerful even with level 1 spells. Also, due to maxed masteries, the lvl 81 spells immediately gain power as if they where level 3 already!
After this build I had still had 7 points left, which I used to boost energy hammer to lvl 5. The problem is I haven’t used EH before, so certain players may want to max out energy hammer or some may not use it at all. therefore from this point onward, there are 2 different builds that exist: one without EH, and one with EH. I think a lvl 64 spell should be usefull since the GM give it to you at such a later level. I guess if you don’t use energy hammer, you can boost your spell power by putting extra points into lvl 36 and 51 spells, after all there aren’t many other places to add more points to.
91-100: Continue to keep lvl 81 spells maxed, and get lvl 92 spells also keeping them maxed. If u wish too, max out energy hammer, there are definitely enough points to max it.
100+: There isn’t much else to do except putting points into level 81/92 spells. Feel proud if you made it this far because now you are the class with the highest damage per second ratio in the game.

First thing first. STR is for noobs dont wast your stats on it. It iwll be a bit hard to level when you lower but it will pay off later. Put all available stast in Health. Use a low level dagger. when everyone else is running back and forth from respawn points you will be doing fine. When you hit level 35 you wont die very often if ever. At 36 you will powning the insatnce dungeon and leave your freinds level in the dust.
You will pown in Norak 2 and Castor 2, and waste no time running back and forth from dieing. You can aoe solo and level super fast!!!!

When you hit 55 -60 is when it really pays off ( as if you allready didnt pown everything). The only place faster for you to level is 88,88. If you cant find a spot there go solo. You will have no problem herding a group of 4 monsters and killing them even if they contain 2-3 mini bosses. think 5K + health and about 550 def.

Now my solo AOE guide for dagger hunters. Pretty much the same concept as in a party. Except less monsters. In the caves you can agro 2 monsters per person in crespo you agro 4. This is to your advantage. beace instead of running in a train for 1-2 minutes you run to spawns and heard the spawn and own it, then move on to next one.
Note:
use silent strike first. It slows them and bleeds them. Let the monsters bleed for a few seconds then use tumble attk. most monstes will die from theese two attks alone. If a mini boss is in your spwan hit spin move as it slows your enemy and thows you out of the spawn. while he (the mini boss) is agro, aloow him to follow while you heard smaller monsters. this way you wont waste mana…
Ellispe are every easy this way. if you get one elipse about 5K exp and 3 of the other monster about 2K exp each, and they die in 2 hits (3 X 2k = 6k), you are leveling pretty fast. tis will take little practice and aslong as at first you stay away from Clay you wont get stunned and will be fine.
You dont share drops, money or exp = )
If you need help 2 dagger huters in 1 party FREAKEN POWNS ASS

Updated PVP 8/29
Woot !!!! you all want to know my PVP guide so here it is.
First i must remind you of some of my earlier premises.
1 that 95% of yoru attk comes from the skill not your weapon and not your stats.
2 you all ready have requiremnt for for low level Xbow do use the farker

now, there are 2 ways to fight. One i use against dagger hunters the other i use against just about every other class.
I have used this techniques to take over 88;88 from whole parties, so i believe it is very effective.

Key to guide : VS = violent step.DS = dead spin, : SK = silent killer, RA= rolling attk, GS= guide shot, ES= explosion shot, MS = multi shot.

Disclaimer about skills. They are the ones I use you may find others work better for you. That is fine the reason I choose Xbow over bow is simply for GS. The range is unbeleiveable and has a nasty knock back. I also use Explosion because of AOE effct, and I like to attk full parties in crespo.

I suggest you have 2 at least 2 skill bar set ups one for leveling and one for PVP.
My leveling one looks like this
VS, RA, DS, SK, Cure wounds, EA, Terrace magic, and GS in that order.

You can scroll through skill bars by hitting Z and X

My PVP bar basically replaces Treaace magic with multi shot for knock back ability.

Now for tatics.
Against most classes at lower levels Dead Spin is a great move. However as you level it becomes less usefull. It still will work great against bow hunters, most Sumoners and those pesky healers, but higher up it does not do the damage. the reason i tell you this is to watch when you cast it. If bagi drop kick you it will send you flying away. But bagi is noob class and no good hunter gets owned by them.

First thing first, You better have wind moving skilll on. Seed and agility are your best freind. You are not a tank and you are not ment to be STR. ( wtf would a person pick a female charcater that fights with a pocket nife and level str  )
SK still powns you can not beat the damage or the bleed effect. But it some times gets blocked by knights, bagi, xbow users and some times other lucky fukkers. (this is why negelecting dex is a no no. I am a big stat Heath person but you still need to hit the person to kill them) SK will also slow your enemy down wich I love.

Now that you got your speed up, your enemies speed down, and you have him squirting blood all over the place ( not to mention you just took a huge amount of shield away from him) you can choose one or 2 skills. RA or DS. If you choose RA it will be followed by DS. Need to be careful. If RA gets blocked you are in for a hurting, not that it still can not be overcome but it makes the fight a bit closer. So I choose carefully who I use it one at higher levels.

DS owns. Enough said. You kick the shit out your oppenent through yourself out of his reach and leave him stunned.
Think about it
SK. You have him bleeding, slowed, and took away ~ 2k sheild
DS. You did a few K more damge, fly away and leave him stunned.
This fight is going pretty well for you

Now you run away . Yes you just powned you oppent, made him shit himself and now you are going to run and create space. While you run you tab to X bow. Important to rember that Guide shot has super long range and does allot of damge. Your oppent may not even know where you are, but you take him for well over 1k damge and kock him back,. He bigins hot pursuit you tag him again with X bow ( multi shot or what ever you wish) another 1 k damge.

Recap
first skill you do 2k+ damage have him bleeding and slowed
2nd skill you do anoter 2k damge stun him and create huge space
3rd skill you tage him from very far away 1K+ damage and knock him back ( great against bow users sengals, and mages) you out range them
4th skill another 1k damage with knockback

All the time what ever damge he has done to you is being regen. Yes, while you are takeing away his sheild and health your is being regened.

Now you can do what ever you want because this fight is clearly in your favor. If he is very storng or dagger hunter I suggest D.S. followed by the bow combo again. If you use SK again he is smart enough to use same skill on you, for net gain of 0. But if you use DS you do about same damge but then can use X bow combo again.
you can also save RK for finishing move or aoe several oppents. LAter on I will restat and remove RK completely and keep only SK and and DS.
Note: if you are a heavy str or have heavey dex build you will get owned, because you will get knocked back by others attcked and have your skill interfered with.

My Philosophy. There is no hybrid build. Hybrid suggests you are putting 2 things together that should NOT neccisarly be put together. I believe there are two type of build Bow and X bow/dagger. Bow is for the paper class where kiteing is the main technique. I am nost putting this class down. They hurt like hell and I beleive if you get a full party of “pure” Bow hunters they can own just about any other party dreamable. Imagein them defendign castle and aoeing everything that come close, ouch

I beleive the hunter build to be a solo class. Read the summary on main page. It is not ment to do the most damge or be the best tank(two extreems). It is ment to survive and hunt its prey. It is ment to be more cunning and more technique based. I believe the hunter class to based on the skill of the player more than any other class. (not he easiest class to play)
That means haveing right equiment for the job, Knowing your enemy and adapting your hunt to him.
It also means useing surrounding to your benefit. I would not want to fight a bagi in a cage

I do not do the most damge or have the highest def, but I am one hard farker to kill.
I am not bragging but at level 60 when other classes are looking for AOE or dungeon party I was solo at 88, I have had more than a few parties try to take it form me, that I sent sent back to Parka. They useually ask “wtf are you level 100+” What I mean is this style alows you to able to tank several bosses and still hold off PKers. Because of high def, regen rate, and slow, stun from SK and DS you can get out of most sticky situations, and it also allows you to use big mobs are comofluage.

This does not mean you are a GOD or that you will win every fight you enter, or that Hunter is best class. There are people who can counter this style. This does not mean I am cocky. I pvp a party because I am bored and want to challange myself. If I win, I brag, if I loose I congrats the party and think about what I could have done better for next time.

There are better hunter than me I wrote the guide because I get allot of questions both in PM from forum and in game

It is the style I choose and I am way over 150 points in my PVP
PVP you vers a party.
I like to do this and get allot of questions about it

If you are agressor you can try to lure the hunter or bagi away first with your bow, then own them. If that doesnt work take out the healer as fast as hell. Remember that mobs are your friend they hurt when they hit you but not close to the damage as players. Heard a bunc hof mobs to the party or wait for them to do it. Launch SK into party doing about 12-20K+ damge to it. Optimum is to wait for lurers to leave and take out the aoe clases. Bit it is more important to have cloak of monsters sohope that some spawn on the spot
Sumoner pet will agro you and so will mage and other AOE then though start launching your AOE’s. keep mana up and HP because monsters deal damge to your health not your sheild. Try and take out healer or hunter first but dont jump around from person to person at least kill 1 or 2 (will help your confidence).

REMBER YOU ARE AGILE AND QUICK and that it is hard to target someone when cloaked by monster. If you keep moving it is hard as hell for your foe to hit you with aoe DS owns (you atk and poof you are gone) then follow it up with aoe arrow like explosion.

Last but not least for now.
You are fighting a party some ppl will brag when you die and you will die allot. You will get called names and such. Remember you have to balls to try and do it and you have the skills to win, no one else can say that. I fight parties out of boredom. Its like fighting a really high level boss. Dont be upset when you lose. It is ok to respawn, it is only a game and your charcter dieng is not like your mother dieing.

1st off best offense is defense.
the pet u choose is all preference.
I chose libido because tarantuala does poison dmg. Which makes lvling fast in the beginning for staffs because the poison stacks.
your build should go 3/2 spirit/health and every 6th lvl 3 strength 1 health and 1 spirit . If you follow this pattern then when you reach the lvl for your next staff which is every six u will be able to weild it.

(Skill tree) my opinion. I like every skill except for summon blades. my suggestion max them except blades and twin slash. ( you can max summon blades l8r when u have extra sp to add for those people who have resistance to poison.

Skin of forgotten realm is very good skill dont listen to the rumors. If you are a pvper its usefull. The skill doesn”t last long but how long do most pvp battles last? your answer Not very long. It adds alot of defense. I have it at lvl 3 right now and it adds like 50 defense not sure exact numbers.

thorns and evolt max them out right away. low mana cost for pve so grinding is good when lvling. also good for pvp but later on that. summon of bats is good for healing and aoe before u get summon of ghosts. good also in pvp my opinion. usually hits enemy 3-4 times and dmg is reasonable. Not a bad skill.

Use poison accesories or magic dmg accessories thats it. forget fire and other elements you’re a summoner not a mage.
(only use element stuff to kill bosses)

Grinding- There is no fast way of lvling except for lvling. 5-12 lvl in noob maze
12-34 castor
34-50 nunvince dungeon requies beach
50-60 castor floor 2- when you reach lvl 52 you get summoner of ghost. aggro mobs to gather your mobs around you and use summoner of ghost and bats. when doing this u will be aoeing and healing. faster experience.
60-crespo ( dungeon )although you can go here at 55

pvp-staff can be very good at pvp.

summoners-worthless fights-if higher lvls u will probably lose if they built right-lower lvls you will win

summoner swords-the trick is fight them head on. 1st cast SOFR tap Tilda summons of bats evolt thorn spam those 3. spam all skills if u have more but evolt and thorn have least cool down and least mana usage which can be a life saver if u need to pot hp. you should push the tilda key after every skill. the tilda key is ~ for those who dont know. use bats often and pot. dnt be cheap buy pots to fill up cuz those could be what saves u in any pvp match. I mean use the right amount for your health and mana. not 480 hp when u have 3500 hp make sense of it. you can win because you should be able to outlast them. You should have more hp and defense. If they have high defense then they are probably to weak to kill you.

summoner staffs-dnt bother fighting unless pking-best tip is be fast at comboing.

mages-tank them- they are easy to overwhelm with summon ,staff, and skills hitting they can die fast even if they are higher lvls. not way higher but within 8 lvls its possible to win.

segnales-same method as mage tank them.

Ash Knight- If lower or even lvl you should be able to tank them. funny thing is most players try to put more offensive dmg which makes it easier for you. if higher lvl keeps as much distance as possible without pulling your summon away from him. Just let your summon do the attking while u run in circles. he will start to get annoyed from your summon and start attking it. this is when u spam skills untill he comes for you. if you feel comfortable with how much dmg you done then tank. if not continue to run. Your summon dmgs enemies hp so either they attk it or you. Kiting can be good if u super pro but much of the time you will find that if you shoot a skill sometimes they sneak a hit in. which can mess up your whole rotation. if u do it right your summon can weaken him big time. you can usually tell when someone is starting to feel like its a losing battle for them.

Bagis-same as Ash Knight.

Hunter Archers- Same as Mages tank em

Hunter Daggers- These girls are tuff. If they built right with health you will find that they cancel skills alot. The aoe can kill you and summon at the same time. if u are using abedon use tarantula. I say this cuz tarantula wont always run to you if attking while abeddon will come close and hunters are close attkers. tank them but use bats and venom shot to push him back while your attking.

beginning of every battle use SOFR and resummon if your beast isn’t full and don’t be afraid to tank just because your staff.
Weaken them b4 tanking unless its a mage segnale or hunter. People have this belief that a staff summoner cant tank. That is false, all extra damage will help.
good trick is using both hands to pvp. one hand for skill keys and the other forr potting.

Please dont flame if its helpful utilize it. If not then you probably know how to play so why are you reading my guide.
goodluck and have fun builds should be your own because if you all build the same then players will no how to counter it. Use it as a guideline.

Cresit to Carbonites

Post Carbonites Incar Duel/PvP Guide.
Ok guys, when I first started my Incar I had much more time to test. As it stands now, I dont have much time to get in game at all. I just wanted to post this as a sort of guide/what I know so far kind of things. I hope it helps some.

My Character.
Hat is in the 90s. The other stuff is in the 100’s.

My Stats.
First thing I should note is that I have not tested a build that includes dex just yet.
This current build is weapon requirement in str and spr, all the remaining points go in heal.

My Build.
I have only recently come to this build. It is a work in progress.

My Hotbar.
With this current build everything fits on one hotbar. I guess thats a plus.

Ok guys, now for the meat and potatoes.

I have not played an Incar the normal way for those that dont know. This is a lv 115 character given to me for my Moderation duties.
So if your looking for a guide on how to level your character you should check out some of the other great guides people have posted.

As it stands. When your at around level 100 you will be using all three tiers of skills. I see no reason not to. You have the points and spending them in the lower level spells is futile. Their damage does not seem to be anywhere near what you will need for your level.
That being said, your build will come down to the bottom 4 skills in each tree.
Now it is possible you may chose to go only 2 trees and get a combination of both of those on the higher level skills but I havent tested that as of yet.

My current build is built around Gracious Eddy. Let me tell you something about Gracious Eddy, EVERY MAGE SHOULD HAVE IT.
If you dont plan on getting gracious eddy, you are making a mistake. No build should not include it.
It is a very powerfull skill that will freeze on mob/char in place and Aoe all those in the surrounding area. It hits really HARD. Cant stress that enough.
Most of the time I am told it takes up to half of the sheild on the duels I have had with characters of my level.

So how do you work this then? Well, the very first thing you should cast the second the duel starts is Gracious Eddy. It never misses, so you will lock your dueling foe in place allowing you to cast your fast attacks. With my current build I have chosen to use Flame Burning, Ice Blanket, Cruelty Lightning and Thunder spear as my fast attacks. (I will be changing this some in the future.)
So youve casted Gracious Eddy and now your using your speed attacks. (Youll get 2 of these during the time your foe is frozen.)
Now if your fighting a melee character and they are trying to get close it is time to cast Intimid Flash. This skill will Aoe surrounding you and follow you where you go as it continually shoots out multiple times a nice attack on the enemies.
If you fighting a range class its time to use Infernal Pillar. Infernal pillar will shoot a couple fire blasts at the enemy and then your character will charge your enemy where most of the damage will be given. After you cast this spell youll then go to Intimid Flash again in order to aoe while your close.

At this time Gracious Eddy will be ready and you should definately go back to cast that again. In fact if at any time its ready while your still doing the others steps, stop and cast Gracious Eddy.

If you do this effectively it will give you your best chance at every class.

Against a Segnale at this level:
She is going to Paralyze you. Be ready for that first thing.
You will want to get Gracious Eddy out at the same time. Youll both be frozen but the Segnale’s paralyze does little damage compared to yours and hopefully you can get her before she casts curse feild, otherwise your damage will be equal at this point.
Now, if your lucky the Segnale will be close to you during this point, because you can cast Intimid Flash out of the paralyze as I have found. However, your Gracious Eddy will not allow your oppenent any room for skills as they will be getting knockbacked a lot during the time your spell is on them.
So if she is close to you, use Intimid Flash.
Now move on to your fast attacks until Gracious Eddy is ready again. If you get caught in a Curse Feild and the Segnale is outside of this, use Infernal Pillar to move yourself out pretty efficiently.
The main thing when fighting a Segnale is trying not to get paralyzed inside a Curse Feild. It will be tough, but if you can do it you will have a much better chance in this fight.

Against a Knight at this level:
Note: I will laugh at you if you ever lose to a knight at this level. ROFL. jk
Second verse same as the first.
Gracious eddy first thing. Get back while he is frozen and use your fast attacks.
No matter the Knights build he wants to be close to you, so dont let him.
When a knight gets close to you, you should then cast Intimid Flash. This has some serious knockback and you can keep him from attacking you nicely.
A smart knight will use Insensibility at this point. It allows them to not be affected by Knockback. However, Knights hate the skill as it has adverse affects on their stats. If your lucky youll mostly run accross knights that havent put much weight in this great skill they have.
So you can use the time Intimid Flash is cast to get away as the Knight at this point will likely want to get away from you. (again barring he isnt using Insensibility.)
Either way, its time to move and cast fast attacks all the time, until Gracious Eddy is ready.
Wash rinse repeat.
Done right, the Knight will hit you with maybe 2 skills the entire duel.

Against a Summoner at this level:
You have heard Summoners suck at this level. Let me tell you right now. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THEM.
Summoners have some pretty devistating skills for your sheild. I dont know what its called but when they use the skill that uses both blades in furry of attacks, your sheild is going to melt, and its going to melt fast.
Currently I cant say what you should do against their different pets, but I assure you youll will do something different depending on what they have summoned. One of the pets, (I will make note of what in the future.) Will force you to not be able to move. This is devastating to us as it allows the summoner and his pet the close proximity that he loves.
If you can get Gracious Eddy out first thing it will lock the summoner into place and aoe his summon.
From that its fast attacks again until Gracious Eddy is ready.
Always stay away from the summoner and his pet.

Against a Bagi at this level:
Havent had the chance to duel one yet.
Wont be a much different fight than the knight though. Bagis dont have much in their skills to attack with, but what they do have is POWERFULL, and when coupled with their buffs you really need to stay away.
Use the same tactics for now to freeze using Gracious Eddy and fast attacks until Gracious Eddy is ready again.
I will update after I am able to duel one at my level.

Against a Hunter at this level:
Barring any major changes to the game, the Hunter is one of the most DEVASTATING Duels any other class can go up against.
If they arent the best in PVP they are damn close.
The worst part about them for you is, they are long range damage and you are mid range damage. This makes for an interesting fight.
Both of you will be a distance from eachother at all times and the Hunter will be trying to keep just enough distance so that your Skills will force your character to have to run closer before using them.
So my strategy for you here is to get in close as if you were a knight. Dont let them have that distance ever. No matter where you are the Hunter skills hit hard so staying close is your only chance at doing the same dps as the Hunter does.
Use Gracious Eddy first thing. Get in close while she is frozen and use your fast skills.
Do what you can from there to stay close while using the fast skills until Gracious Eddy is ready again.

So, have I not convinced you on Gracious Eddy? I sure hope I have, its your pivitol skill. Your major crutch really. YOU NEED IT!
If your going to use a 2 teired build make sure you include Ice and fire or Ice and lightning.

As it stands myself. I will be trying a Ice/Lighting build next. The fire tree seems a little less potent when dueling comparatively.
No matter your build youll want some fast attacks to go along with Gracious Eddy.

One thing I need to test more is Freeze Spirit, because it can allow a second freeze on your opponent. This skill is a bit tough though, youll have to be close to use it as it doesnt really follow your enemy, and it creates a blanket of ice directly in front of you. If in fact I find it useful, you can imagine how it would play out.
Gracious Eddy, fast skill of your choice, Freeze spirit to lock them into place again and then fast skills.
I will update you on this in the future as well.

All the talk I did on fast skills is really up to you. You will have to test each of the bottom skills to go along with the last skill in the tree in order to find your fast skill harmony. Still, Gracious Eddy is the pivitol skill. Youll use it in every build. Keep that in mind.

So did I say Gracious Eddy enough? LOL.

I hope you enjoyed my half legged guide to dueling with your Incar Magician. It will likely go through a lot of changes in the future.
This is just from my limited play time. I have some things that have come up since I started the character and havent had real sufficient time to test it and wont likely have much time as I go into the future. So take from this what you will. I still stand by Gracious Eddy no matter the outcome.

Hunter Starter Guide……

This is based on using 2 skills. it doesnt matter which 2 you use, I just used fire/ice for this example. This guide also shows how to expand to 3 skills when you restat at 81. Obiously, this is all purely based on opinion, however I will also state WHY you should be upping certain skills at certain stages….. so lets start at lvl 10

You want to up your basics, but mainly the masteries. Early on, this will help you alot. Also, energy mastery will help keep you alive longer Wink Some people disagree with using it this early, however in this game, mages are a bit of a tank, and need some defense. Mainly focus on your basic spells………

At lvl 20, you get some new skills, and this is how you should look…

So now we’ve added seize nimbus and fireball lvl 2. Also upping the masteries as you go. In this case, I’ve also upped energy mastery some more as you will need it more and more. You now also get the ice skill if you went ice that gives you the ability to slow down your mobs. I personally use this ALOT, still at lvl 1, and im in my 50’s. Its a great skill to have in every situation.

Now lets look at 30…

You now get your first “aoe” (if not using lightenin), and the ice spell that puts mobs into blocks of ice. Both usefull, however lets get that fireball up. Its your most powerful 1v1 spell, however your not gonna push it past 5, you wont need it past lvl 5.

So at lvl 40, you should be looking something like this….

Now we get our famous AOEs. This is your lifeline for the next 45 lvls or so, so lets pump it asap. You are also gonna want to play catch up with the energy mastery since with AOEs mobs will hit you more now since they get closer. You want that extra defense. Right now, you should be living in instance getting to know it like the back of your hand. Stay in here til your 50, trust me, best exp around. If money is tight, when your in your high 40s, go do a AOE party in norak/castor cave lvl 2, the drops can make you some nice money.

Going forward to 50, heres how you should look….

Your gonna want to up the energy mastery, nimbus and mana force, as you will be using alot of AOEs, and should be starting to get into norak/castor cave lvl 2. You will also need to be focusing on the lvl 36 AOEs, as they will be your life line. Most parties will be AOE parties and you will NEED strong AOEs.

At 60…..

Your still AOE’n like mad, now into crespo. Up the AOEs more, and start to add the lvl 51s. I wouldnt suggest touching these until the mid 50s, as you really wont need them a whole lot. Again, your living in AOE parties.

70…

We are now maxing the masteries, you will really need them. Also, maxing out the lvl 36 AOEs are a must. Mobs are getting much stronger and using low lvl AOEs will kill your party.

Now…….81. Heres where we do our restat…..and start to look ALOT different….

Ok we are now going to a pvp build. Reason for this is because now that we have done a restat, our AOEs are at lvl 1. Now, we didnt really touch fire because we are going to be spending the next 10 lvls grinding in an area against mobs with 55% fire resist. No need for those skills yet, but you will start to do some serious pvp. Lightening as you notice, is now our primary. Its the 2nd strongest skill from fire, and very powerful in pvp and pve.

Now heres 92, once we get our final skills….

Now we’ve maxed 2 of the 51s, and are building on the fire mastery. I wouldnt take the fire mastery to much further than this….and Ill show you why in the next screenshot. Ice is going to become your best friend with gracious eddy….

Max those 92s, with the exception of fire, since its bugged right now. Ice mastery now maxed, and your strong as hell. Keep maxing those AOEs now along with the 92s and your set.

2Moons Guide: Hunter – AoE Leveling Location Guide Part 2

Posted on 2008-11-18 by adminNo comments

Loading ... Loading ...

I have introduced the 2moons leveling guides about level 1-50. But that is not enough. So I continue introducing it.

50+: I will post both soloing and grouping spots, but grouping is encouraged, cuz it’s more fun, less work, and fast exp.

50-56: Norak 2 (port from braiken) is best. Find a good AoE group, one with a healer, driver, and at least 1 more AoE class. The first 3 rooms of the left side are good. Have everyone follow the driver, who runs around the room, gather around 10+ mobs, stop and AoE them all. I found this the fastest way to level, if you have a good group. People always love to have a dagger hunter in their party. Make lots of friends, and you’ll get invited every time you log on .

56-64: Crespo (port from Parka Shrine). ya ya, you can go at 55 but many people will not want you in group, cuz you’re low level for the minibosses. go back to norak 2 if you can’t find an aoe group here. If you’re in a low level group, find smaller mobs area to AoE.

There is a spot here that you can level up very very fast. Some people call it the “SWEETSPOT”, or “HOTSPOT”, many call it “88″ spot. No, it’s not anything like 69 you perv! . It’s got that name because of the cord. 88:88 (NW) on the map. here mobs respawn very fast all around you. Have 1-3 pullers bring minibosses+mobs to the group depending on how many mobs your group can handle. FAST EXP!

I also tried dungeon, and disappointed at the exp rate due to lag, d/c, deaths,…and the nature of dungeon party downtime. Unless you have a really good party, leveling in dungeon is not reccomended. I found the 88:88 spot is faster to level. With a really really good party (with some Lv 70+), you can level in dungeon super fast. I know someone who went from 63 to 66 in ONE day doing lots of dungeon runs (I think 45+ runs).

65+: Draco dessert. I went all over the map and tried soloing AoE. AT Lv 65, the best solo spot is NW, front of the entrance to Norak 2. Exp rate here is pretty fast, I was getting around 3k each mob, and 4 mobs each round. This is the first fast exp, soloable spot since Nunvice. If you’re a good dagger spec, it beats 88:88 group hands down. 2 to most 3 shots and they are all dead. Bring lots of pots, and watch out for pkers, they will show you no mercy.

Grouping is another option, exp rate is similar maybe a little slower than soloing, but you can save some pots, and it’s much less work. I prefer grouping though unless I can’t find a group. At the time of this writing, there aren’t many players in draco yet, unlike Crespo. You will often not be able to find a group.

The fastest exp groups I found was ones training along the Eastern edge of the map. Split party into 2 groups of 3, first group starts at bottom SE corner, second group starts at middle-top. Then both run towards each other, meeting in mid way, bringing along all the mobs, then merge and AoE them all.

68+: If you can’t find group and want to solo, go to the SE corner of the map. Mobs here give 3.4k each, 3.8k with exp amulet. They repop fast. if you’re not a heal dagger, and keep dying, stick with the NW area and wait until you’re 69.

65-80: If you get tired of draco or have a good group, try dungeon. exp rate depends on how good your group is. Fastest way to exp here, like above, splitting your party into 3-3, and one group do an objective, while the other running to the next objective. a really good group is a must, or you will die. If done right, you will level really fast.

80+, i have not reach there yet

More guides are coming, waiting….

Some Useful 2Moons Quests for Beginners

Posted on 2008-11-01 by adminNo comments

1.Does Sword Mastery increase 2h sword dmg?
Yes, it does, so if you use 2hswords max this skill, It helps!! same with any other 2hander, axe mastery for 2haxe etc.

2.Does 2h Mastery help?
2h mastery does NOT increase 2hander dmg, it increases defense however, making it almost like your wielding a shield, every rank gives +15 defense, maxed at lvl 5 gives +60 defense, which is quite nice.

3.Will Sword Mastery increase my dual sword dmg?
Do not put points into sword mastery to make dual swords stronger, it does NOT increase dual sword dmg, only dual mastery will. Same goes for any other weapons and skills, the only skills dual users can use are dual skills, and passive skills. Dual axe is the best to use because of highest dmg, pointless to get something lower dmg. However this is fun because you can mix and match weapons without actually lowering your dmg. So if your going for a look, you wont be penalized.

4.Is Whirlwind worth maxing out?
I had a tough choice on deciding this, and I realized that by the time you max this skill out, at that high lvl the added dmg really doesnt make a difference compared to lvl 1. It would be best to save you 9 skill points and put into something more useful.

5.Insensibility worth getting?
I found getting interupted really does not happen too often and has not ever been a problem for me, only lag has been an issue. I do not suggest getting this because of lowered attack speed. The only way I could see this being of use is against ranged attacks. Because I’m sure you know how annoying it is to get hit from 3 ranged attacks at once and not being able to move.

6.Is it possible to hybrid dual users with something else?
Yes, I have tested out actual builds that do end up working, so I can use different weapons for different situations. I sucessfully have a dual weapon/2hsword hybrid that works wonders at high lvls. I will be posting this build later on down below.

7.What is the best 2handed weapon?
Hands down it is mace. The attacks you get are amazing area dmg and stun, which is by far the fastest way to lvl when mass killing. The final mace attack does so major dmg, and combined with soul knight and genocide, you can pull off massive death.

8.Do 2handed wielders use the different masterys’ skills?
Sword mastery skills, are useable with 2handed swords. Axe mastery skills, are useable with 2handed axes etc etc. And as I said before same goes with the Mastery, it increases the corresponding 2handed weapon. So skills such as sword defense, and the final skills don’t actually require using 1 handed sword.

9.What Skills are not worth maxing out?
Do not put anymore than 1 point in the following skills, power strike, sharpen blade, mace bash, bleed slash, cross pierce, triple slash, insensibility, beserk, and this is what i suggest but is optional, whirlwind. These skills with their added dmg will not matter later on, you would not notice a difference in dmg. Not only that, but your skill bar cant have too many skills on it, and in the middle of battle you dont want to rotate skill bars for heals or other attacks/buffs.

10.Is Energetic blade worth maxing?
This skill I found to be very annoying. It is a ranged attack but yet it has the range of attracting monsters, making it a horrible pulling skill. You literally are almost melee range when you use this skill. This skill should have a longer range to be worth maxing, but then again there can be advantages to this high dmg one hit skill for Pvp or bosses. At high lvls this skills adds about 5k dmg. If you are doing hybrid I do not suggest maxing this skill, but since dual swords are limited on skills, maxing it my build will happen later on.

11.What exactly is the correct way to use Sword Defense?
Think of sword defense as a defense buff. If your about to take a ton of dmg, or you going to engage a boss, throw it on before you move in. This adds a percent to your defense, which helps ALOT. Throw it up when able because the increased defense will help vs hard monsters, as well as the increased block rate. The dmg reflected kinda sucks, but i dont mind having it, works VERY well in duels

12.Why not max Beserk? at high levels it does much damage.
Beserk has one big problem, it is slowwwww. If you want to area kill mobs, you dont want to wait 1 second and have 50 guys attack you, cause that could be your death. The charge up on this makes the skill very dangerous. The long 16 second recharge doesnt help either. Not only that, it sucks because the damage increase you get from the buff portion doesnt increase as you increase the lvl of the skill. Only dmg increases from skill increase. Nevertheless it is a useful area attack. The 3 second stun does not work all the time, so dont count on it to save you! you’ve been warned.

13.Jumping Crash? Yes? No?
People say this skill sucks, I say no. This is by far one of your most used attack skills. Level 10 is 14 mp! that is hella cheap, not only that, it adds 2000 dmg. Alot of the high level skills dont even add that much. Also the reuse time is a small 8 seconds. The area of this isnt actually small, its medium sized, and is everything around you.

14.Strengthen Health?
For all new azure knights, GET THIS SKILL! this is by far the most useful skill that no other class gets besides segnale. You can solo more easily than ever once you get this skill. It casts almost instantly, and gives you enough regeneration of health to outheal most dmg coming from multiple monsters. If your lucky, sometimes the skill recharges instantly and you can keep in up 24/7. I’m not sure what makes it do this but it can happen.

Bagi Leveling Guide in 2Moons

Posted on 2008-10-24 by adminNo comments

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (No Ratings Yet)
Loading ... Loading ...

Maybe some people hava troble training Bagis in 2Moons. One of the reasons that people have trouble training Bagis is because of the limited skills at lower level. However, it’s quite easy to level a Bagi if you know how to do so.

From level 1-11, train on the outskirts of Loa or Braiken castle. Training here should be a breeze.

Once you’ve achieved level 11, enter the Maze of Newbies. This is a excellent solo dungeon that gives you both potions and experience at the same time.

Once you’ve achieved level 19, you have two choices to train at: at denebe or inside norak/castor cave, 1st floor. Both are equally adequate, but keep in mind denebe is a non-pvp map, and norak/castor has pvp enabled, meaning anyone can player-kill you while your inside the cave.

-At level 25 (or sooner, however you prefer) head to Heiharp and see how you fare there. The best experience you can get is with a party, mainly because it takes less time and less work to kill a group of monsters with a party. It’s up to you to train here until you’ve reached level 34, or you can try Requies, a jungle like map just north of denebe.

Once you reach 34, head into the Requies dungeon. This is a solo dungeon that requires you to do several tasks to complete the entire dungeon. Upon completion, you earn an additional 50,000 experience points. You may not be able to complete this dungeon the couple first tries or even until your late 30’s, but this dungeon is by far, the best experience you can get at this stage. Once you’ve reached the low 40’s, this dungeon should be much easier. There’s also an optional boss you can attempt to kill by getting the 3 relics hidden inside the Chamber of Space. Killing this boss rewards you with a very nice ring. I suggest you do this dungeon until 55, since it’s still the best experience you can get.

Once you’ve reached 55 (or 50), you can do one of three things: train inside of norak/castor cave by yourself or with a party, train inside Parca Shrine, or head out to crespo to train there. Parca Shrine isn’t the best area for experience points, mainly just for commission points. At level 55, crespo may be a bit difficult, unless you find a party to do the commission quest and train as well.

-During your training from 55-60, you should save up on money. Upon reaching 60, you can now enter the Dungeon of Crespo, a party dungeon that has three section (Dungeon C, Dungeon B, Dungeon A) and costs 300k to enter. However, if you go with a party of 6, each party member only needs to pay 50k. This is a quite decent dungeon that gives you experience and different gems that you may find useful, such as medials, rhombuses, elemental damage gems, or elemental resistance gems. You can also continue training in crespo doing the commission quest (s) with a party or just soloing, however you enjoy it.

Once you’ve reached 65, you can have three options to choose from: continue training in Dungeon C, head out to Draco Desert, or do Dungeon B, which is harder than Dungeon C, because of the higher level mobs. However, it does give more experience and better gem rewards. Draco desert is a different view from crespo, mainly because it’s a desert, unlike the snow you constantly see in crespo. I wouldn’t advise doing the 65 commission quest, because it’s just a waste of money. I suggest doing dungeon B from 65+.

Once you’ve reached 70 (Hurray!), continue training in Dungeon B or head out to Draco desert where it’s a bit easier to solo train here while also doing the level 70 commission for money and adventure points.

Upon reach the big 75 (halfway there), you can attempt doing Dungeon A, which is the hardest of the three sections, but also gives better experience and gems. However, if you find it a bit hard, continue doing dungeon B.
