Theory behind the Build

The point of this guide is not to build the best PVP hunter. Or the best PK hunter. Or the best PVE hunter. Its a guide that will allow you to excel at all 3, but not be the best at any of them. You will be a valued dungeon party member, able to defend yourself when people try to pk you for your levelling spot, and able to put on a good show in pvp. It is not possible to build a hunter that is the BEST at all 3 of these areas of the game. If you want to be the best in PVP, PVE or PK, this guide is not for you. If you want to have fun levelling and do so in a way that when you get into the dungeons of Crespo, and Crevice, and the FE/FW/1L/2L of Python, this guide can help make your character the best it can be.

When you first start out, you will be using a bow to level from lvl 1 until 15, when you get your first AOE, Rolling Attack, a dagger skill. At level 15 you will turn from primarily a bow hunter into primarily a dagger hunter. What does this mean for you? It means the most powerful AOE’s in the early game. It means that from an early level you will be the most powerful melee character in the game. This sounds strange that a hunter would be a melee character. But its true at the early to mid levels. From level 32 to level 60ish you will be the queen of pvp. No class should beat you in either PK or PVP and due to the massive AOE’s you can PK entire parties at or around your own level. You are the ultimate soloer. The ultimate damage delaer in AOE parties. In other words, you rock.

At around level 60, hunters hit a sort of wall. Your massive AOE’s and their high damage no longer guarantee you victory in PVP or PK. Other classes are getting better skills, better gear, and higher defense and HP. Your AOE’s are not getting much stronger. Rolling Attack and Silent Killer are maxed. Deadspin is the only dagger AOE that is still levelling. All the advantages you enjoyed from 32-60 are starting to fall by the wayside. By the time you hit 65, other classes will be competing in PVP and PK. You should still be winning most of your fights, but it will be much more difficult. Enemies won’t die quite so quickly and they start hitting you more often and much harder. By about 70, you will probably be wondering what are you doing wrong because you can’t win most of your pvp fights anymore. Stick at it, once you reach level 74 you get really competitive again. At 82, you will regain your status as the undisputed queen of PvP until 90 when Bagis get really good.

I just started a hunter. What do I do? Where do I level?

Your main weapon is a bow. Use it. You should be levelling on the white mobs in and around Loa or Braiken castles. At about level 8, venture out into North Ares or North Morte. I’m partial to the North Ares location north of Braiken Castle. There are more monsters and faster spawn rates. You should also start doing the Dungeon of Noobs. This is a low level dungeon that gives good experience and teaches you how to handle monsters that aggro. It also gives some good rewards. I got a copper from it one time and a silver another. As you level you’ll be wanting to increase your stats and add skill points. I have provided a general guide for that below. As you increase in level, keep killing the highest level monsters that are white to you. They provide the most efficient experience for you and are not too difficult to kill. You can stay in North Ares or North Morte killing lizardmen until around level 20. Yes, lizardmen are also in Denebe, but the competition for levelling spots is higher. Better off staying in N.Morte and N.Ares until around 20.

At 20ish you you can venture into Denebe and kill some of the higher level monsters there. Mantis, in particular give good xp. Or you can go into Norak or Castor Cave on the first floor. Only people there are usually bots. Monsters are easy and give good xp. At around level 24 or 25 start going into Heiharp and getting involved in AOE parties there. This teaches you how to work in a group and how to handle a lot of aggroed mobs at once. Stay in Heiharp until level 34. At level 34, you want to go to Requies Beach and the Nunvice Dungeon. This is where you should stay until level 50ish. The Nunvice dungeon provides wonderful experience and even at level 34, you should be able to complete it, unlike most other classes. The levelling from 34-50 or 55 should be some of the fastest you ever experience. I did it in about a week.

Once you hit 50, Nunvice is going to be horrible in the sense that you’ve done it for 16 levels and its gotten old and stale. You can stay there until 55 if you like, its still good xp. Or you can go to Castor2 or Norak2 and get in some AOE aprties there. When I did C2 and N2, there were no bots. It was good xp and I made a lot of friends. It was also a fun place to PK. Nowadays, the bots run both of the caves and I’m not sure whether its worthwhile going there anymore. You can easily do Nunvice until 55 and be none the worse.

At 55, you’re going to Crespo. Crespo provides hunters with a lot of levelling options. You can get in an AOE party at 88 or 130. You can AOE party the Kolaigers and Clays on the iceburg as well. Or, you can simply solo anything on the map. Most classes have difficulty soloing Crespo at lvl 55. You, as well as summoners, are the exception to the rule. You can get some really nice xp killing Kolaigers and Clays and the mobs that spawn around them. Whatever your choice, the grind from 55-60 is pretty easy for a hunter. You have the best AOE’s and high health. Do the Kolaiger and Clay commission quests. Its a nice way to get some good rewards and give yourself goals in terms of the grind. Its easier to grind when you are looking forward to finishing a quest than just killing stuff.

From 60 onwards, its the Crespo dungeon. There are 3 levels to this dungeon, A, B, and C. C is the easiest. B is the middle. And A is the hardest. As a general rule, you should do C from 60-65. B from 65-75. A from 75-90. As a hunter, you will be able to go in the more difficult dungeons earlier than other classes due to your high health and AOE’s. However, you get less xp if you go to a higher level too early. The most efficient xp is generally at the levels I indicated.

From 65 onwards, you’ll need to make some money and if you join a guild, contribute AP. Draco Desert is the place for this, although the good CQ is not available to you until you hit level 70. From 70 onwards, when you get tired of the Crespo dungeons, do some Draco CQ parties. Its decent xp, and you can make some nice money or get some good items as rewards. Its also the best place prior to Python to get vouchers for Baron DF.

At 77, you can now go to north Requies. This is a good xp spot (if not bot infested) and it has nice drops and a good drop rate. Its also a nice place to go if you’re sick of Crespo and the Draco CQ’s.

At level 80 you have another map option, Python Castle. As with all the other maps, your AOE’s make you a sought after party member, but the monsters attack a lot harder than before. Your HP has not increased that much since you got to Crespo due to stat dumping for your bow, which we’ll talk about later. The mobs hit harder, but the xp is very good. If you can find a good 1L or 2L (FE/FW for Trieste users) party, you can level very quickly. Its a grind, though. Even in 1L or 2L. This is where many characters quit. Crespo dungeon runs don’t give much xp anymore and grinding a level in an AOE party takes hours. Its incredibly difficult to level by soloing. And not much fun. Parties have now become the name of the game. If you don’t have a good guild by now, its time to start looking for one.

At level 85 you get another map, Avalon. This is where T3 items drop. These are gears that typically sell for upwards of 12 million dil. Avalon xp is not great. Certainly you’re not going to be able to reliably level here. But you can come here when you get tired of Python or when you need to farm T3’s or Earl DF vouchers.

You also get access to the middle part of Python Castle at lvl 85. Unless you are doing the Dark Eye quest, don’t bother with this section until you’re 90+. The archers and AK mobs hit VERY hard and the xp is not that much better than the Styx and Carbons in the outside of Python. The only reason to kill these mobs is farming vouchers for Earl DF, which you won’t need until 91+ anyway.

At 90 you’ll move to the Crevice dungeon in the middle of Python Castle. This is where levelling gets easy again. Remember when you started Crespo dungeons and you could get 10-15% in 1 run? Well, its back. And the loot from Crevice dungeons is wonderful. Don’t waste your time on C runs. Do a few B’s to get the hang of how it works, how the pads operate, etc. And then find some A parties. As a hunter, you’ll be the most sought after class behind segnales. You have awesome damage dealing skills perfectly suited to Crevice’s narrow corridors.

At level 95 you get access to a new map, Oread’s Tomb. The mobs here hit VERY hard and unless you’re doing the Black Dragon quest, there’s not much point in going there, except for a change of scenery. You should still be doing Crevice.

I’m only 102. This is the full extent of my map knowledge. Anything beyond this and you have to ask someone higher.

When Should I Reskill?

Easy. At level 90. If you follow the skill point allocation guide below there should be no need to buy a master’s mistake or have to reskikll prior to level 90. Why level 90? Because thats when you get your main AOE, Demolition Bomb, a xbow skill. Its the only true Xbow AOE. As a result, it makes no sense to use an xbow prior to level 90. By choosing xbow over bow at pre-90 you are giving up one of the best AOE’s in the game, Triangle Shot. Don;t give away your AOE’s for a few extra damage points. Use a dagger/bow until 90. Then switch to bow/xbow or a bow/xbow/dagger tri-brid. There is a guide for that build below as well.
Stat Point Allocation

This is a stat point allocation designed to promote early dagger reliance and gradually move to a complete dagger/bow hybrid with a reskill to bow/xbow at level 90. It gives massive amounts of hp early at the expensve of dex and the ability to use a bow equal to your level. Since bow skills don’t really get good until Wonder Firing at level 74, the bow is sacrificed prior to that to focus on dagger and health. As a general rule for a dagger/bow build level 60 and under, the only important numbers are the stregth and dex requirements of the highest dagger you can use. You should allocate enough strength and dex to be able to use this weapon. All other points should go into health. Under no circumstances should you ever add any points to spirit.

You start out with a build of 3-6-3-3. You can use a level 1 bow and a level 1 dagger. At level 7, the dagger requirements are 6 strength and 11 dexterity. As you level up from 1 to 7, make sure you allocate these points, putting the rest into health. Your level 7 stat build would be 6-11-25-3. While you are doing this, you should also be equipping a bow in your 2nd weapon slot. The level bow you will be able to use will be much lower thatn your current level. Thats ok. Bows don’t really start to be really effective until around level 74 when you get Wonder Firing. The goal is to maximize your health early so you can survive the Crespo dungeons when you get in them and then start upping your dexterity so that by level 74 you will be able to use a level 60 bow and take full advantage of the bow skills that will be unlocked in the near future. Following this principle, this should be your stat allocation at each of your new weapon levels until level 60.

Level 12: 8-18-41-3
Level 18: 11-26-60-3
Level 24: 14-35-78-3
Level 30: 17-43-97-3
Level 36: 20-52-115-3
Level 42: 23-60-134-3
Level 48: 26-68-153-3
Level 54: 29-77-171-3
Level 60: 32-85-190-3
After level 60, you need to stop putting points into STR and HP and start using them in DEX to increase the level of the bow you can use. The goal is to be using a bow equal to your level by the time you get Crow Wings at level 82. That means putting points almost exclusively into dexterity for 25 levels. Another option you have is to continue dumping points into health and using your free restat at level 74 or 82 or whatever. This has the advantage of making you more survivable in the dungeon. It has a disadvantag of making you a weaker damage dealer. Your bow skills, namely triangle and wonderfiring are your primary bow AOE’s. By using a low level bow, you are hurting your damage dealing capacity, which it your main role as a hunter. You’re not a tank. Your job is to kill and kill fast.

I recommend doing the DEX dump. Its what I did and I had no problems surviving in the dungeons or in DF. More importantly, by making the bow a more important weapon, it facilitated me learning how to quickly and seamlessly transition from dagger to bow using the [tab] key. This may sound trivial, but it takes some practice to learn how to do a weapon switch and skill to recognize the proper time for it. By staying low damage low level bow, you are prolonging the time you will have to learn how to do the weapon switch. It will also create a severe shock if you dump everything into health and have to remove 2-3k hit points when you ultimately re-stat. Instead of learning how to do it in C, where a mistake can be fixed, you learn in A, where a mistake can leave your entire party dead. Here is the dex dump build:

Level 66: 32-115-190-3
Level 72: 32-145-190-3
Level 78: 32-175-190-3
Level 85: 32-205-195-3

From level 85 on, you are going to be wanting to make sure you can easily switch from dagger to Xbow at level 90. To this end, you need to up your strength stats slightly to be able to use the 85 xbow. Your two new most important numbers are as follows: Strength requirement for equal level xbow and dexterity requirement for equal level bow. Dex reqs for bows are higher than xbows. Strength reqs for xbows are higher then for bows.

The level 85 bow requires 205 dex. The level 85 xbow requies 38 strength. Since we’re not switching to xbow until level 90, getting those strength points prior to 85 are not important so long as you have them when you turn 90. Having pimped 85 weapons is not terribly important. Its a waste of resources that should be saved for your 95/105 weapon and 102 wings. This build is based on +3 or lower weapons. If you +4 your 85’s, you need to add 2 additional dex points. If you +7 them, you need an additional 4 points to dex. Plan your point allocation accordingly.
Level 86: 32-205-200-3
Level 87: 32-206-204-3
Level 88: 32-211-204-3
Level 89: 33-215-204-3
Level 90: 38-215-204-3

From 90 onwards we will make sure we have the weapon reqs for a +4 or higher bow and xbow. This requires additional dexterity than a regular +3 or lower weapon. As with the 85’s, if you plan on going to +7, add 2 additional points of dex on top of what I am reccomending.

Level 91: 38-215-209-3
Level 92: 38-220-209-3
Level 93: 38-225-209-3
Level 94: 38-230-209-3
Level 95: 42-231-209-3

Level 96: 42-231-214-3
Level 97: 42-231-219-3
Level 98: 42-231-224-3
Level 99: 42-231-229-3
Level 100 42-234-231-3
Level 101: 42-239-231-3
Level 102: 42-244-231-3

Everything beyond this point is my planned build. It allows me to use the 105 weapons +6 or lower as soon as I reach 105. If you know you are using a +7, just alter the stat allocation slightly or wait until 106.
Level 103: 42-249-231-3
Level 104: 42-254-231-3
Level 105: 46-255-231-3

Skill Point Allocation for a pre-90 Hunter (Dagger/Bow)

Hunter Tree:

Cure Wounds: Max (5)
Wind Moving: Max (5)
Terrace Magic: 1
Speed: None

Combat Tree (Dagger):
Combat Mastery: 1
Violent Step: 1
Rolling Attack: Max (10)
Silent Killer: Max (5)
Deadspin: 7
Archer Tree:

Bow Mastery: Max (10)
Xbow Mastery: 1
Critical Fire: Max (5)
Ice Arrow: 7
Triangle Shot: Max (10)
Vulnerable Shot: 1
Explosion Arrow: 5
Wonder Firing: 4
Crow Wings: 2
Fire, Slow, Piercing Shot, Guide Shot, and Poison Arrow: 0
Strike, Skull, Multiple Shot: All 1 point each due to requirement for better skills.

That is the skill build at level 89. You’ll have 2 points left over. There should be enough of a built-in point allowance that you can level each skill at the proper time. If get to a point where you have more skills to level than available points, your priority should be: Dead Spin Silent Killer, Wind Moving, Triangle Shot, Rolling Attack, Cure Wounds, Bow Mastery, Critical Fire, Explision Arrow, Crow Wings, Ice Arrow. If you do the build right there should not be a gap and you should be able to level everything on time.
Skill Point Allocation for a post-90 Hunter (Bow/XBow)

Hunter Tree:

Cure Wounds: Max (5)
Wind Moving: Max (5)
Terrace Magic: lvl 1
Speed: None

Combat Tree (Dagger): Nothing

Archer Tree:

Bow Mastery: Max (10)
Xbow Mastery: Max (10)
Critical Fire: Max (5)
Ice Arrow: Max (Cool
Triangle Shot: Max (10)
Vulnerable Shot: Max (10)
Explosion Arrow: Max
Slow Arrow: Max
Wonder Firing: Max
Crow Wings Max
Fiores Nova: Max
Demolition Bomb: Max
Fire and Poison Arrow: None
Strike, Skull, Multiple, Guide, Piercing: All 1 point each due to requirement for better skills.
With this skill build I have 4 points remaining after I did my 102 skill increases. Having planned out my skill point allocations for the next 20 levels, I will continue to have at least 4 points remaining at any one time for the remainder of the game. With this in mind, you can invest fully in fishing, which is only really a viable option if you have an amulet. OR, you can eliminate all but 1 point of vulnerable shot and take the 13 remaining points and do a tri-brid build adding points back to some dagger skills. Primarily Deadspin. Doing this will keep you with enough points to level your skills at the appopriate times.

Combat Mastery: 1
Violent Step: 1
Rolling Attack: 1
Silent Killer: 1
Deadspin: 8

PVE Strategies

1-14: Use your bow to kill stuff at long range. Fairly easy and self-explanatory.

15-31: First AOE is a dagger AOE, Rolling Attack (RA). Violent Step (VS) followed by RA should do significant damage. Run around until your cooldown is finished and then repeat.

32-35: 32 is when you get Silent Killer (SK). This is a massively powerful AOE that causes massive damage, bleed damage (enemy loses additional hp for 10 seconds), and slows opponents briefly. Follow this up with RA. Run around until SK has cooled down and start over.

36-47: You get your first bow AOE, Triangle Shot (TS). Dagger will still be your primary weapon and main damage dealer. However, while you’re waiting for the SK cooldown, tab your weapon to bow and fire off a TS. Its an excellent filler skill to further damage the enemy instead of just running waiting for a cooldown.

48-59: At 48 you get Deadspin (DS). Deadspin is a large AOE that does significant damage. More importantly, it stuns every mob that it hits and shoots you away from them. SK, RA, DS – [tab to bow] TS [tab to dagger] SK, RA, DS, etc

60-73: At 60 you get no new skills, but will enter the crespo dungeon. Your plan of attack should change slightly. Use DS as your first skill as the mobs spawn from the coffins. Why? It stuns them meaing they can’t attack the rest of your party. This is a defensive skill more than anything else and allows your party to AOE while the mobs are spawned. Tab to bow and fire off triangle shot. Tab back to dagger and start off with the SK, DS combo. Toss in a RA when prudent. RA is not a strong AOE in dungeons, and should only be used on groups of less than 4 or 5 zombies.

74-89: At 74 you get the Wonder Firing (WF) skill. This is a large AOE that does decent damage. Especially as you’ve managed to level up your bow to at least a 60 by now. At before, start off the dungeon spawns with DS. Tab to Bow and hit WF, TS, and then tab back to dagger. SK, DS. You shouldn’t need RA anymore at this point as SK has completely recharged by the time you’ve pulled off TS and WF. You can continue to use RA as a filler for the long WF cooldown like you did in the 60-73 attack sequences. Crow Wings (CW) at 82 is primarily a single target/PVP/PK skill. It hits 4 times and only the last hit is AOE. Use it in a pinch when everything else is on cooldown or you need to seperate from a mobbing quicky.

90+: At 90 plus you are reskilling to bow/xbow for the 90 dungeon. Maybe you go tri-brid as well. Long story short is that in Crevice dungeon dagger is fairly useless due to long narrow corridors. You get 2 new skills, Fiores Nova (FN) and Demolition Bomb (DB). My skill combo in Crevice is as follows: TS, EA, FN – 2 sec cooldown – TS – tab xbow – WF, EA, DM [tab] TS, FN, TS, [tab], etc… By tossing in that second TS (fast cooldown), you are giving time for your main AOE’s (DB and FN) to cooldown properly to be used in sequence with no pauses, except the builf in 2 second delay from FN and DB. It may seem off to see the sequence never having used those skills or been in the Crevice dungeon, but once you get them you’ll understand.
PK Strategies

This is the most fun part of being a hunter, especially in the early to mid levels. Especially PK’ing entire parties. No other class is equipped to PK an enture party at their own level. Here is the general tactic I used to great effect. Run in the room at normal speed. Pick your target, this is usually going to be another hunter if one is in the party or a summoner if one is there. Select your target and in the meantime, ask if there is a slot in the party available. Clever and cunning is the name of the game here. You need to have them at ease. Its also best if there is a large mob around them and the members of the party are using their AOE skills.

You’re already clicked on the target. Hit wind moving and then Silent Killer your target. If you time it right, every single target should now be purple because they’ve done their AOE’s on the mobs and hit you as well due to your purple status. In the meantime they have just lost a large chunk of HP and shield and are bleeding. Now is when you use DS to inflict mass damage, shoot yourself away from their AOE’s, and stun them all at the same time. Tab over to bow and triangle shot them. Tab back to dagger and restart the process by darting in and giving them another dose of SK and DS. If its a noob party, they’re all clumped together running directly at you which makes your job easier since SK is a directional AOE. If the party has some experienced people or has people with high level alts, they know your tactics and will not have flagged on you or will have spread out.

There is no shame in running away at this point if you have not killed the party. You have taken little damage, your speed skill is on the verge of running out, and that group of people are pissed. But they are also either dead of heavily damaged with little to no shield left. When your wind moving has cooled down and you are up to it again, go in and finish them off. You’re likely to die a lot fo the time when you try to PK an entire party. Its 6 on 1. You should lose every once in a while, but the satisfaction of a perfectly executed party PK is awesome.

2Moons Guide: Bull’s Cry

I’ve been browsing the forums for nearly a year now, and everytime I either look at someone’s skill tree or if someone asks for advice on which skills to max/leave at level 1, I always see the same thing. Leave Bull’s Cry at Lv1. But why? From my experience (along with another Bagi I know), bull’s cry is a very nice and useful skill. Not only is it a quick KB’ing skill, it also adds a temporary buff, increasing your attack speed and your attack. Now, recently (apparently), we have established that more attack =’s more Critical rate.

Now, knowing that Bull’s cry increases your attack for a short amount of time, we also know (out of common sense) that it increases your critical rate.
Yeah, I know “bull’s cry only lasts for xx amount of seconds”. Think about it this way: bull’s cry effect should only be used for PvP; PvE only if you have time to wait for it to cool down and use it over and over. But, at higher levels, we know that PvP’s only last (at max) 30 odd seconds. Maxed, Bull’s cry lasts around 32 seconds. Wouldn’t this be nice to have the added critical rate during PvP?
All along my Bull’s cry had been Lv1 because of the brainwashing I got douced with on this forum at an early level, until today. Today I thought about it and decided to give it a shot. I put as many points into bull’s cry as possible and the tested it. Results were this:

Normal Triple ravage = 1 crit on average
Bull’s Cry-enhanced Triple ravage = 2-3 hits on average (not to mention 3x ravage is one of our hardest-damaging skills and to have it crit on all 3 hits is a dream come true)

Normal Spirit shout = 2 crits on average (if I’m lucky)
Bull’s Cry-enhanced Spirit shout = 3 crits on average

Normal Mad Bloods = 2 crits on average
Bull’s Cry-enhanced Mad Bloods = 3-4 crits on average

Normal Outrage = 2 crits (if I’m lucky)
Bull’s Cry-enhanced Outrage = 3-4 crits on average

Normal Carnage = 1 crit on average
Bull’s Cry-enhanced Carnage = 2 crits

I haven’t calculated anything, so I don’t have any solid evidence to say what the crit rate is with a maxed bull’s cry, or such. So, you’ll have to figure it out for yourself and decide if you could deal with these odds.

The 2Moons Vicious Summoner Guide

Posted on 2008-06-06 by adminNo comments

This is based on my experiences of the class (level 44 so far). So not everything might be accurate. I’m hoping to build build up one giant sticky where you can find ALL the information you need about summoners. To do that I need your help. If there is/are flaws on the thread or you have something you would like to have added here please PM me. I would also like to inform you that this is the first guide I’ve ever made on any game and it is based on incomplete information as I have played the game for only 5 days and havent been able to test out all the skills. That’s why I need your help to expand this guide to cover all areas of Summoner gameplay.

1. Class Concept (my thoughts)

The Vicious Summoner is a very powerful class in PvE – by controlling powerful summons you can kill enemies much more powerful than you. Many people have said that at higher levels the summoners sucks in PvP. [ego]Today earlier in the day I won 2 out of 2 times a level 47 Azure Knight. I also won 2 out of 2 times a level 51 Incar Magician, so the talks about summoner being sucky in the higher lvls seem to be bullscheiß. [/ego]

The Summoner can be either melee (Twin Sword) or caster (Staff) oriented. Having fast attacks with Twin Swords that can deal quite alot damage but also having various spells that harm the enemy and/or benefit you. Because the Summoner has powerful melee and caster abilities and pets, the defenses of a Summoner are not that great. There’s not much defensive abilities nor high Defense rating. That is why players playing the Summoner should focus on outdamaging their enemies – killing them before they kill you.

2. Pets

The Summoner has a large choice of pets to summon and control.
Remember that you can only summon and control only one pet at a time.
The common concept is that if you choose Staff you begin to build on the Beast pet tree and if you go Twin Swords you choose the Libido tree.

Libido

Tarantula
Good: You get it on a relatively low level. It does good damage and in PvP it ignores players’ shield, dealing direct damage to their health. Ranged Attack.
Bad: Gets killed rather easily and has somewhat slow attack speed.
Damage type: Poison

2a. Controlling Your Pets

When you attack a single enemy it usually isnt a problem to kill it. But what if you are attacked by a multiple monsters? You should always aim on one thing: you taking as few hits as possible. That can be done by various ways.

Pet Control Types

I will be focusing on Order Attack and Free-modes on this section, the rest 3 functions dont have much to discuss about.

Stop(Shift+R) – Stops your pet. The only thing he will do is that he will be following you.
Call(Shift+E) – Calls the creature to come at you.

Unsummon(Shift+A) – Unsummons the pet.

Quite useless “mode”. This one will make your pet disappear but you dont need to unsummon your pet in order to summon a new pet. The only use I would see for this skill is to unsummon your pet for a petless duel.. then again you can always set it on Stop-mode.

Order Attack(Shift+Q) – Orders your pet to attack the target you command it to attack.

First press the Shift+Q hotkey. Then doubleclick on the enemy you want it to attack and it will do so. Uses on this command are infinite. For an example you can send your pet in the middle of enemies drawing their attention and leaving you free to attack any of the monsters. You can also use it to take aggro off you, or to make it pull monsters. ***There is a bug with this mode. You can only order the pet to attack once and after that you have to press Shift+Q again for it to work***

Free(Shift+W) – The summoned creature will attack freely.

Activate this mode by pressing Shift+W, your summon will then proceed to attack anyone who damages you, who you damage and who damages the summon. There’s many uses for this skill as well, i.e you hit some monster once and your summon will start hitting it grabbing aggro, and you can do it to as many monsters as you want. There’s one downside to this mode though, sometimes when attacked by 2 enemies i.e archers your pet might just run in the middle of the monsters not being able to hit either one of them since it doesnt focus on one monster only.

3. Stats

I will leave DEX out because summoners have no use for that stat.

SPR – Spirit

-Increases your Mana Points. 1Spirit =1MP. Increases your magical damage dealing capacity.
-The most important statpoint of a Staff Summoner.

STR – Strenght

-Increases your physical damage dealing abilities.
-The most important statpoint of a Twin Sword Summoner.

HEAL – (Con)

-Increases your Health Points and your Shield.
-Heal should be the second most important statpoint of all Summoners.

3a. Adding Statpoints
Statpoints are very forgiving. Even if you miss one or two statpoints from some stat, it doesnt really matter, since you can add those missing points by leveling up.

Weapons require either SPR or STR + they have a level requirement. Staves require much more SPR than they require STR. Twin Swords require much more STR than SPR. My favorite style to add statpoints (Twin Sword Summoner) is to add statpoints to STR and HEAL throughout the level. And pump the SPR required for the next weapon at the last one or two levels.

Assuming Twin Swords: 4STR 1HEAL per level is probably enough if you do not plan to do much PvP. 3STR and 2HEAL is recommended if you plan to do alot of PvP. You can pump SPR at the last one or two levels to meet the weapons requirements.

Assuming Staves: 4SPR 1HEAL per level for PvE, 3SPR 2HEAL for more PvP orientated statbuild. Pump STR at the last possible level to meet the weapon requirements.

NOTE: There are many, many, many ways to play around with stats, this isnt the only right way, but it’s secure and you most likely wont screw up your stats.
NOTE2: PUT ONLY AS MUCH STR/SPR AS THE WEAPON REQUIRES.

4. Skills

I recommend you to choose Twin Swords in the beginning and start leveling up the Twin Sword side of the combat tree. In my opinion Twin Swords deal more damage, faster and tend to be easier in the beginning.

Twin Sword – Libido

Buy Twin Sword Mastery, Blade Spin. Upgrade these skills until you hit level 15. Buy Libido Mastery and Tarantula. Upgrade all four skills whenever possible. Buy Devil Swing and upgrade Twin Sword Mastery, Blade Spin and Tarantula as often as you can. When reaching level 34 do NOT upgrade your Tarantula anymore, since you will be getting a new pet at 36. Learn Evolt Shot, Spirit Dagger and Blood Bats when you acquire the appropriate level.

Your Blade Spin and Twin Mastery should be maxed out now. Upgrade Libido Mastery, Aldebaran and Devil Swing. Learn Blade Dance at level 52. Learn Poison Sword, upgrade your Twin Sword combat abilities and Libido abilities. Learn Tentator. Level up and upgrade your Libido and Twin Sword Combat abilities until you hit 150 and enjoy.

NOTE: If you want to do PvP at higher lvls you can reset your skills & stats and choose Staff which is considered superior in PvP compared to Twin Swords.
NOTE2: You can learn and upgrade Skin of the Foreign World if you want.

Staff – Beast
Learn Vicious Mastery, Vicious Thorn, Evolt Shot. Upgrade those skills. Learn Beast Mastery, Grewpain and Spirit Dagger (not sure if affected by SPR, if not leave at lvl 1.) Upgrade all of the previous skills. Learn Regulus, Blood Bats, Venom Light. Upgrade all of the previous skills except Grewpain. Learn Summon Ghost and Selaim. Upgrade all of the previous skills except Grewpain and Regulus. Level up and upgrade your Beast and Staff Combat abilities until you hit level 150. Y

NOTE: You can also PvP with this build if you’ve built up enough HEAL.

4a. Skill List

Requirements:
Required Level: 90+
Required Dil: 166,666 dil per run
Required Gear: Curse Gear for Round 10 (65%-75% curse resistance)

Objective:
There are 10 rounds in python dungeon. Each round you must kill monsters and try to keep the number of monsters in the dungeon below 50 until the round cleared. Once the monster’s count reached 30-35-40-45 you will be warned, and when it reached 50 you will fail.

Information About Python Dungeon
To enter you must be least lvl 90. Python Castle is at the south-west corner of the map, and Python Dungeon is the white dot on the map near the bottom. Python Dungeon has 4 levels/ranks.From hardest to least amount of difficulty it is Abyss,A,B, and C. The reason why it is more difficult is not that the lvl of the monsters change but that the spawn rate of the monsters increases.
The following is a list of the amount of times in the dungeon.
A – 35 minutes
B – 45 minutes
C – 55 minutes

Magic Field of Crevice Dungeon Party
For the python dungeon you need a 6 members party. The reason for this is that you will pay less dil and you will have higher dps, or damage per second to avoid fail. The following is a list of how much you should pay according to the number of party members:
solo – 1 million dil
2 party member – 500,000 dil
3 party member – 333,333 dil
4 party member – 250,000 dil
5 party member – 200,000 dil
6 party member – 166,666 dil

Forming a Party
When forming a party you should make sure you have the right classes in the party. About everyone skips C runs and moves on to B runs because C runs take extremely long and are completely boring.
So in a B run you would need a good amount of dps. There are many combinations you can have to complete this dungeon. I would recommend to have at least 1 hunter or mage, segnale is highly recommend to have in a party. 1 segnale is all you need or 2 for better result.
In A runs it is all about knockbacks. In A runs dps isn’t much of a problem.
In A run you require alot more knockbacks than a B run because the monsters spawn. If you don’t knockback the monsters that means they will have a chance to attack you. The monsters will then knockback you which will interrupt your skill. The monsters will constantly damage you and you will die. I recommend 2 hunters/mages(combination of both are great) at the least and a segnale.

Classes’ Jobs in Python Dungeon
Azure Knight -Azure Knights provide damage and knockbacks in dungeons. They also are for tanking monsters.

Bagi Warrior -Bagi Warriors tank monsters just like Azure Knights and provide damage. When parties merge they are sometimes used for pushing monsters into the aoes.

Summoner -Summoners provide damage. Summoners vary. Some do more damage than others and some do less damage than others.

Incar Magicians -Incar Magicians provide a high amount of Mdps and knockbacks. Incar can also tank monsters.

Segita Hunters -Segita Hunters provide a high amount of dps and knockbacks just like Incar Magicians.(from what I have seen segita hunters do more damage than incar magicians, but they can’t tank monsters. They probably can tank a little bit if they are pure heal though.)

Segnales -Segnales provide knockbacks from curse field and heals the party. They can quickly find dungeon parties and can get into A dungeon parties at level 90.

Walkthrough
First you will find a party. Then you will enter the dungeon and drop your dil when it has loaded. To start the round you talk to Regina.(only one person has to talk) It will then say Round 1 Start at the top of your screen.

Round 1: The segnale drops a curse field on the statue in the middle or in the yellow flatform while the other member stay in blue flatform and wait until the next round.

Round 2: All in blue flatform. Aoe the monsters that spawn.

Round 3(B/C): The party will be split into 3-3. if there is only 1 seg he/she will belong to white team because in white flatform the monster use magic damage which hurt more than the monster in red can do, teams will merge in the middle before the round start, segnale must put buffs to all members before the round start and put FH to red team. (if there is mage in party he/she must stay in red team even though he/she belongs to a DD because monster in white flatform has a magic resistance)

Round 4-5(B/C): before the round start the party must meet again in middle for the segnale’s buff then back to the same flatform

Round 6-9(B/C): the party will merge in red flatform and do aoe. on this round the treasure box spawn every after the round, any of the member must open the box before the round end or the box will suddenly dissapear. the loot should be random all the time.

Round 10(B/C): This is the time to wear you’re curse gear. when you cleared round 10, 2 treasure box will be spawn, get all the drops and talk to Regina to leave. When you leave you will get magic stone pieces.

Round 3-10(A): The party will be split into 3-3. The party required to have 2 Segnale, a good party includes 2healer, 2 DD or damage dealer, and 2 tanker as a frontliner, on round 6-10 a treasure box will be spawn every after the round, any of the member must open the box before the round end or the box will suddenly dissapear. in DP-A 1 box contains 2 item, the loot should be like this 6-8 random then 9-10 sequential. when you cleared round 10, 2 treasure box will be spawn, get all the drops and talk to Regina to leave. When you leave you will get magic stone pieces.
A -4 magic stone pieces
B -2 magic stone pieces
C -1 magic stone pieces

Items From Treasure Boxes
Magic Field of Crevice A
(item and dil per Box)
Round 10 – Copper/Silver Argates, 5% damage Gems, Medial+25, Critical Bijou,
Round 6 to 9 – Guard/BlockBijou, Pyramid+40,
9% Resistance Gems, Rhombus+52, Medial+21, +43 & 47 Elemental Damage Gems

Magic Field of Crevice B/C
Round 10 – Copper/Silver Argates, Medial+25
Round 6 to 9 – Guard/Block Bijou, 9% Resistance Gems, Rhombus+48, Pyramid+40, Medial+21, +43 & 47 Elemental Damage Gems

Tips on Python Dungeon
-Aoe whenever you can
-Stay close to the wall if you’re a DD(Damage Dealer)
-Fast heal everyone before start of round(if you are segnale) and whenever it runs out(to see your party’s current buffs click the + button at the top of the party list)
-Don’t destroy the statue!(it could stop the time limit,or stop spawning monsters for 10 seconds, etc.) In python dungeon the round sometimes glitches where when all of the monsters are killed it won’t say Round Clear. Then you have to kill the statue. Hopefully it spawns some monsters to kill. If you kill the monsters and the round still doesn’t clear you’re out of luck.
you will fail but will continue to the next round.
-Don’t message people when the round has started! You should be aoeing anyways.
-Aoe close to the wall or on the platform so that monsters don’t stack up far away from all the aoes.
-When you want to get a party you could either form your own party and invite people, or you could look for a party. When looking for a party you say “looking for dungeon party (level of dungeon)” or LFDP for short. (Ex. LFDP A/B)

Since this is only Round 1. segnale will do the job…
others go blue and wait till round 2.. in round 1 mobs come out in yellow platform so the segnale’s CF will takecare all of it.

General 2Moons Guide: Str Summoner Build Guide

Posted on 2008-03-16 by adminNo comments

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (No Ratings Yet)
Loading ... Loading ...

I’ve been testing some different summoner builds and plan to do a hybrid build later, which might be a horrible idea. This is for starters and also guys who plan on trying to make a more suitable PvP build.

IMPORTANT: Please be unique and choose your specific build and do know that one build will always beat another and circulates that way.

Many have rumored that summoners are pathetically weak at higher levels. This is not a guide to create a hardcore summoner, but just to give you a better idea. I am going to focus on twin sword build because that’s what I am currently using and I suggest you guys all leave feedback and try to find better builds for our class.

Leveling experiences:

Party On!:

I recently partied for awhile until my 50s than began to solo because it was actually faster and more effective for the class. If you join a party, you are more safe from PK parties and save a ton of money. You may gain slower experience depending on which mob you train at.

Keeping it to myself:

Str Summoners are one of the fastest killers on mobs. Why? We have quick attack with high knockback rate which allows us to get attacked easily. Soloing will be faster exp because you have your summon to help tank/kill mobs with you. This can be very boring and kills the enjoyment of the game! At level 80+, we become one of the top AoE characters due to our cosmo skills and quick attacks + splash damage summons.

Libio or Beast:

There’s a big discussion about this because each summons has its own abilities which benefits you eitherway. I don’t want to discuss this as much as it is pretty obvious that it all comes down to “how you like to play”. A staff build may want to stick with Libio so they can use melee monsters to tank the hits while they stay back and vice-versa. However, Libio is a str based summons and keeping it with the twin sword build will be more effective with crits and damage.

Don’t take me on my word as your stat points might not even affect your monsters and it’s all about your libio and beast masteries. If it was based on your character stats, why darn summon should be doing a ton more damage than it was 30 levels back. Put your suggestion and experience and choose what you like best suits you.

Stats distribution:
Okay here’s the basic build
Offensive build: 4str and 1 heal per level + spr requirement (usually 5 addition for the next weapon, add it last minute)
Defensive build: 3str and 2 heal per level + spr requirement (usually 5 addition for the next weapon, add it last minute)

Those are common builds and neither is mine. It is official that dex does not benefit a summoner as much as it does with health and str. The offensive build is a great start off as you will need to maximize the most damage to knockback the monsters.

This will leave you more invincible to attacks while soloing. For offensive build, you slightly have a bit more health and defense but will this benefit you in any way? I honestly don’t think so because summoners have the lowest damage and defense. Your main goal in PvP is to knock them back as much as possible and kill quickly. However, at higher levels our attacks and skills does not do enough damage mess up bagis or knights.

How exactly are we suppose to PvP with those hp hungry characters? I can’t get in depth on this section yet and I would like everyone to elaborate on it a bit. I will continue testing and testing and see what helps us more effectively. I will revise this later to update on which skills benefit our build the most and what we commonly use.

2Moons Incar Guide for Light/Fire

Loading ... Loading ...

I’m a 46 mage, Lightning/Fire. You won’t major in lightning nor fire. Both elements will be equally as good. You won’t have to respec your skills later because this build does not have any wasted points early on (yet at the same time you’ll be strong enough to level fast and even PvP).

Here’s what I would do. I pretty much did this exactly, although instead of putting points in fire early I waited until 36 which was useless because I had over 2 dozen points to spend which could have been spent earlier with no downside.

Since I’m not going to write up a guide for every single level just level up the skills that are going to get level’d up whenever you can. If you see a spell at level 3, then 15 levels later you see it at level 5 obviously level it up to 4 as soon as possible.

Level 1 to 16:

Stats: Enough str for your wand and the rest goes into spirit.

=Passive=
Mana Force -> Level 1

=Fire=
Mastery -> Level 3
Bolt -> Level 1
Ball -> Level 1

=Lightning=
Mastery -> Level 3
Bolt -> Level 1
Chain -> Level 1

Level 17 to 27

Stats: Same as before, you still don’t need any health at this point. If your connection is laggy or you have poor coordination then putting about 35 health is ok. Get your health up sometime before level 22 so you’re ready for the next map.

=Fire=
Mastery -> Level 5
Blaze -> Level 1

=Lightning=
Mastery -> Level 5
Chase -> Level 1

Level 28 to 36

=Passive=
Mana Force -> Level 2

=Fire=
Mastery -> Level 7
Fury -> Level 1

=Lightning=
Mastery -> Level 7
Circle -> Level 1

Level 37 to 51

Stats: Same as above, and get your health to about 65-85. I started raising my health as soon as I hit 34.

At this point continue raising your passive mastery and both element masteries + your level 36 spells every chance you get. At 51 you’ll have all your masteries maxed out, both L36 spells at L5, and both L51 spells.

Level 51+

From 51 and up continue leveling your L36 AoEs. At certain level gaps you’ll be short a point or 2 to level up the 51 spells but this isn’t a problem because the L51 spells aren’t AoEs. Your 51s will end up being 2-3 levels under your AoEs until you gather more points.

By the time you’re ready for your next set of AoEs at L81 you’ll have your L36s maxed, 51s will be at the highest level they can be at, mana force will be at L4, and you’ll have both 81s. You will have enough points to always level up your 81s when they can be leveled.

When you reach 150 you’ll have everthing in lightning/fire at max level (minus the skills before L36), and still have a ton of extra skill points. Enough to max out 2 other skills of your choice + Seize Nimbus. As for what you do with them, that’s up to you.

—-

How does this build perform? Simply put, you’re basically playing in god mode. Everything gets demolished when you learn how to use your skills.

My stats at level 46 are:

Str 10, Dex 3, Health 75, Spr 152
471 defense, 947 m-attack (my wand is a piece of garbage… waiting until 48 for the next one)
About 2500 life, and 1900 mana

I’m not sure what’s going to happen at level 55ish (when you goto a harder map) since this is my first time playing the game. I guess it’ll be similar to now except the mobs will hit harder. I plan to save my stat points from 48 until I stop farming the instance dungeon and see what happens. If the mobs are easy I’ll pump spr, if they hit really hard I’ll dump them into health.

PvP so far as been fun. I spent a bit of time dueling people outside of the instance. They were usually within 3 levels of my level at the time (either above or below). So far the only class who was able to break my PvP shield was a bagi who was 4 levels higher than me. He got me to just under 50% life when he died.

Some knights, hunters, and other mages didn’t even break the shield. This one mage only broke 2,000 out of my 7,385 shield before he died. He accused me of lying about my level heh. I’m going to assume he had low health, but he also had 3 elements and his shots didn’t hurt much.

I haven’t fought any summoners yet. I did at level 20 something and got totally wrecked. I think I hit him like twice before he killed me. PvPing before 36 is a bad idea for mages. Plus at this point our life was very low because we want to level fast, and spr helps in the low levels.

Credits to Accid

STARTING OUT:

Just start in Loa Castle, it’s much easier to navigate. You’ll have one little lovely spell that does not so great damage, just sit there and spam it! Trust me… it gets better. I recommend killing any of those Akiris things you can find, they drop potions and various other items, can help you make some cash in the beginning of the game. So after spamming your little energy jab for 4 levels. Go to your skill master in loa castle; all blue and lined up, it’s not that hard to find or I’d post a screen shot. And get energy bolt, it doesn’t cost a skill point, and it’ll help you level up till 7.

Skills:

Oh and just to make this clear, TRI-ELEMENT, is the way to go!
Oh and also, I used this one in Korean because it’s a lot more accurate than Mmosite, some skills such as Spoiled, Aqua and Energy hammer don’t cost skills points, and mmosite says they do. Lol.

Lastly, NO RESET NEEDED!

Level 7:
Nothing really special here, just get all your basics : D
Level 16:
Same thing, level up the masteries a bit. :b

Level 27:
Woot first AoE! Still nothing really to explain.

Level 36:
Ahhh you get your 36 AoE skills! You’ll use these till the day you quit. Now to make this clear, you DO NOT NEED TO LEVEL them up! Leave them at level 1! ALWAYS! Actually if you level them past 4, the cooldowns go up, and you can’t even spam them! Level 1 is fine, you still do great damage.

Level 51:
Your first true pking skills! And they hurt!

Level 65:
Still just leveling up the masteries and buffs. Notice that I haven’t put any points into the magic power buff, that’s because it’s really not great till maxed; it really isn’t that great unless you have a lot of magic attack, and it’s really only for PvP, which most mages shouldn’t be doing till 92 or 98 :b Oh and get energy hammer, no skill point needed.

Level 81:
81 skills! Blast phoenix sucks, don’t level it. Freezing spirit is one of the best skills in the game- keep it at level one for now. And thunder spear is nice to use after the imitid buff, but cruelty lightning is still WAY stronger.

Level 92:
OMGOMGOMG your 92s! You should be in heiharp now testing these babies out! All three are very useful.

Level 98:
Aqua circleeeeeeeeeee!

Okay now that we have the skills done…

Stats:

Okay this is gonna be short and simple. Use wand, wand > staff. Wand has more damage, gives you more HP, and defense. Now for the actual stats: I’m just going to say, get your weapon stat required strength and spirit, and the rest into HEAL; ALWAYS!

Now the Staff/Wand discussion.
Wand is greater than staff in every aspect, except for one, and that’s debatable, looks. Some say staff looks better, I disagree, I think it’s huge and ugly and… ew. But wand has more damage on it, it has less stat points needed, so you get more HP/Defense, and although it has one less slot, I don’t think that really matters. The damage from a +8 wand and a +9 staff, are just about the SAME! Yes, the same!

And as for why all heal? Well you get 3 dmg from a point of spr, and 3 defense and 10 hp from a point of heal.
Now mages damage is PLENTY high, so you tell me, what do you think would be better?
In the long run, having the HP/Defense helps a lot more, in 2moons, Heal Builds>All.
And it’s not even just that it’s better, a SPR built mage will have trouble staying alive when partying,
Doing dungeons, deadfront and leveling. So just get what you need for your weapon, and throw all the rest into heal.
That’s honestly what’s best for a mage, in PvE and PvP.

Training areas:

Level 1-15: Loa Castle/Braiken Castle & North Ares/North Morte.
Level 15-20: Denebe.
Level 20-34: Requies and Heiharp. -Look for Plevelers in Heiharp, as there are often bored high levels.
Level 34-50: Nunvice Instance Dungeon! (Located in Requies)
Level 50-55: Norak/Castor 2.
Level 55-60: Crespo; Recommended spot is 88:88- go to those coordinates and look for a party!
Level 60-80: Crespo Dungeon. (Once you hit 65 you can also go to Draco for commissions or vouchers)
Level 80-90: Python, Far east or Far west preferred : D
Level 90-98: 90 DUNGEON 90 DUNGEON 90 DUNGEON. You might have troubles finding a party 90-92 though, but still try! There’s always hope : D

Oh and of course for almost ALL levels, deadfront! As a mage, you should have no problem ever finding a deadfront party!

Gear:

Now mages have high defense, and high damage, even with not so great gear.
If you can afford a +7, make it a wand, that’d help you out the most.
As for armor, 1-88, +0 armor with 18 medials will do FINE.
Once you get into solongos (88-92 set), you should +4 the helm and armor, and keep it until your 110 helm and 112 armor.
If you wanna + up the pants/boots, go for it, but it’s not necessary really.
-L3 gloves, get a pair of these! You can use them till end game, they give great bonuses, so once you hit 86, try to get some.
Even once you get up through 115, +4 set with 25 medials will do fine, of course if you can get a +5, 6 or 7 set, that’s better, but you can do fine without it.

PvP:

This will only be basing on you are above the level 98. I don’t recommend PvPing before level 92.

Against a Segnale:

This should be the easiest fight for all mages. Start off with imitid flash before the PvP, and folllow up with cruelty lightning, at that point, IF there’s a cursefield on you, use infernal pillar to fly out of it, if not (or after you do that) use Gracious Eddy + Aqua circle. Then follow up with spoiled divinity if you want, urzer, or some 51 skills until Imitid + Cruelty is done again, they shouldn’t live past that. IF they somehow do, they have to be in their HP, so some combo skills to smash segnales HP are: Imitid Flash + Cruelty Lightning; Spoiled Divinity + Flame Burning; Gracious Eddy + Aqua Circle. The fight should overall be no problem, make sure to KEEP on skilling, so you interrupt any possible blood hits! And always remember you can infernal pillar out of a Curse Field!

Against a Azure Knight:

If the Azure Knight has a shield, make sure to always face north! So bounce defender doesn’t flip your screen in some odd way. Now to get to the chase, against an AK start out with the pre-imitid flash and then use THUNDER SPEAR, they will interupt your cruelty lightning and fuck over your combo. After that, what I always liked to do was Spoiled Divinity + Gracious Eddy + Aqua circle, -15% ice resistance helps a lot! (15% more damage!), then after aqua circle, you should have some room to use cruelty lightning, and it won’t get interrupted cause you have some space. Then use urzer gain/any other fillers you have, if the fight lasts long enough for a second imitid, cast it, and they won’t live past that.

Against a Twin Blade Summoner:

Click follow, start off with infernal pillar to get range, then follow up with gracious eddy + aqua circle to freeze them and knockback them. They’ll be far away, use urzer, then start imitid + cruelty. They normally die right here, with barely even touching you, if they haven’t use infernal + Eddy again, and their done for. Not much here, TB summoners aren’t strong.

Against a Staff Summoner:

Not many of these around, can’t say I’ve PvP’d many. They normally start off with Palpus, so I start off with Infernal pillar, it flies me out of Palpus and in range for imitid, so then imitid cruelty of course, then spoiled + eddy + aqua. Then justs fling 51s/Urzer at them till Infernal and Imitid are done, then repeat : D You should outdamage them taken that you don’t lag or get some extreme knockback.

Against a Hunter:

Eeeeew hunters, they can’t kite us since BMR! Bwhahaha! Anyways. Start off with infernal pillar to damage them and get closer, then Eddy + Aqua, if they use demo bomb/fiore, make sure to use a 51! They won’t be able to skill and they’ll get knockbacked for sure! Hunters have pretty low shield, the fight doesn’t last much longer than that, don’t try to imitid them, it’ll just waste time, mana, and get you hit even more. Good filler skills on them are : Urzer, Spoiled and 51 skills. Normally Infernal, Eddy + Aqua, Urzer and any 51 ends the fight. If not, spoiled and two other 51s await.

Against a Bagi Warrior:

If the bagis good, you have no chance, but if he’s just kinda, spamming skills, or doesn’t really pay too much attention it’s not hard. I’ve probably beaten more bagis than I’ve lost to, but the good bagis you just don’t have a chance D: Anyways. RUN before the fight starts, imitid + cruelty, he’ll knockback cruelty, don’t use it twice. Eddy + Aqua, he’ll most likely knockback aqua but eddy would still have gotten the effect. If he did KB it, use it again. If you happen to get range, Urzer and Spoiled almost always KB. If your lucky in the begining of the fight, they won’t run right over, and your cruelty can knock them back pretty brutally, same thing with Eddy + Aqua, sometimes that’ll get some nasty winning KB. Not too much strategy here, just kinda hope he messes up and you can get knockback : D

Against a Mage:

If the other mage starts out with imitid flash, run and use eddy aqua, if they other mage starts out with eddy aqua, use infernal pillar to fly out if it and it’ll miss. Countering ftw ftw ftw! Yeah…. Not much to say here, your the same thing, pretty even fight, pretty much luck on who gets knockback. Spoiled Divinity is pretty good since mages have a lot of resistances.
Last few PvP tips: Always use Imitid + Cruelty (Or thunder spear on AKs), Gracious Eddy + Aqua (Spoiled + Eddy + Aqua Works too). Always try to be skilling, when your not, you take the risk of being knocked back, so just pound away with the skills!

1st off best offense is defense.
the pet u choose is all preference.
I chose libido because tarantuala does poison dmg. Which makes lvling fast in the beginning for staffs because the poison stacks.
your build should go 3/2 spirit/health and every 6th lvl 3 strength 1 health and 1 spirit . If you follow this pattern then when you reach the lvl for your next staff which is every six u will be able to weild it.

(Skill tree) my opinion. I like every skill except for summon blades. my suggestion max them except blades and twin slash. ( you can max summon blades l8r when u have extra sp to add for those people who have resistance to poison.

Skin of forgotten realm is very good skill dont listen to the rumors. If you are a pvper its usefull. The skill doesn”t last long but how long do most pvp battles last? your answer Not very long. It adds alot of defense. I have it at lvl 3 right now and it adds like 50 defense not sure exact numbers.

thorns and evolt max them out right away. low mana cost for pve so grinding is good when lvling. also good for pvp but later on that. summon of bats is good for healing and aoe before u get summon of ghosts. good also in pvp my opinion. usually hits enemy 3-4 times and dmg is reasonable. Not a bad skill.

Use poison accesories or magic dmg accessories thats it. forget fire and other elements you’re a summoner not a mage.
(only use element stuff to kill bosses)

Grinding- There is no fast way of lvling except for lvling. 5-12 lvl in noob maze
12-34 castor
34-50 nunvince dungeon requies beach
50-60 castor floor 2- when you reach lvl 52 you get summoner of ghost. aggro mobs to gather your mobs around you and use summoner of ghost and bats. when doing this u will be aoeing and healing. faster experience.
60-crespo ( dungeon )although you can go here at 55

pvp-staff can be very good at pvp.

summoners-worthless fights-if higher lvls u will probably lose if they built right-lower lvls you will win

summoner swords-the trick is fight them head on. 1st cast SOFR tap Tilda summons of bats evolt thorn spam those 3. spam all skills if u have more but evolt and thorn have least cool down and least mana usage which can be a life saver if u need to pot hp. you should push the tilda key after every skill. the tilda key is ~ for those who dont know. use bats often and pot. dnt be cheap buy pots to fill up cuz those could be what saves u in any pvp match. I mean use the right amount for your health and mana. not 480 hp when u have 3500 hp make sense of it. you can win because you should be able to outlast them. You should have more hp and defense. If they have high defense then they are probably to weak to kill you.

summoner staffs-dnt bother fighting unless pking-best tip is be fast at comboing.

mages-tank them- they are easy to overwhelm with summon ,staff, and skills hitting they can die fast even if they are higher lvls. not way higher but within 8 lvls its possible to win.

segnales-same method as mage tank them.

Ash Knight- If lower or even lvl you should be able to tank them. funny thing is most players try to put more offensive dmg which makes it easier for you. if higher lvl keeps as much distance as possible without pulling your summon away from him. Just let your summon do the attking while u run in circles. he will start to get annoyed from your summon and start attking it. this is when u spam skills untill he comes for you. if you feel comfortable with how much dmg you done then tank. if not continue to run. Your summon dmgs enemies hp so either they attk it or you. Kiting can be good if u super pro but much of the time you will find that if you shoot a skill sometimes they sneak a hit in. which can mess up your whole rotation. if u do it right your summon can weaken him big time. you can usually tell when someone is starting to feel like its a losing battle for them.

Bagis-same as Ash Knight.

Hunter Archers- Same as Mages tank em

Hunter Daggers- These girls are tuff. If they built right with health you will find that they cancel skills alot. The aoe can kill you and summon at the same time. if u are using abedon use tarantula. I say this cuz tarantula wont always run to you if attking while abeddon will come close and hunters are close attkers. tank them but use bats and venom shot to push him back while your attking.

beginning of every battle use SOFR and resummon if your beast isn’t full and don’t be afraid to tank just because your staff.
Weaken them b4 tanking unless its a mage segnale or hunter. People have this belief that a staff summoner cant tank. That is false, all extra damage will help.
good trick is using both hands to pvp. one hand for skill keys and the other forr potting.

Please dont flame if its helpful utilize it. If not then you probably know how to play so why are you reading my guide.
goodluck and have fun builds should be your own because if you all build the same then players will no how to counter it. Use it as a guideline.

Segnale Warrior
The Healer of 2moons. Master of healing the wounded and reviving the dead. Also well rounded PvE’r if built right.

All stats based on the +5 you get per lvl

With segnales, I HIGHLY suggest you set your stats as to weapon requierments. Its all Dex, with a bit of spirit. Do this pretty much throughout the entire game, while dedicating a few lvls to HP as well. I tried making specific x/x/x/x builds, but they were all garbage, this way worked amazingly in Korean Dekaron.
