Basic Gems Guide for 2Moons Players

To understand how gems work, you first need to understand few basic concepts of this game,so those will be the first I explain in this guide.

1.Types of attack in 2Moons:

There are 2 types of attack-physical and magical attack.Physical attack is any damage that you do with your weapon or your body. Most classes in 2Moons do physical damage with their skills. On the other hand, magical attack is any damage that you do with magic.Afaik, mostly magicians and summoners do that type of damage. As for magician, more then 3/4 of his skills are based on magic damage. It doesnt mean though that mage cant cause physical damage.Whenever he use his energy skills or attack enemy directly with his wand/staff he will cause physical damage.Same goes for every class that might use magic damage.

2.Elements in 2Moons:

There are 5 elements:
-fire
-ice
-lightning
-poison
-curse

Beside regular dmg,all classes in 2Moons and also some mobs in 2Moons,can do element based damage, added to its normal physical/magical dmg. That can be acomplished either by wearing certain items/equipment on yourself that add extra element based damage to your attack,or by using element based skills(fire skills, ice skills etc.).
If you use items to increase your element based damage, they will add extra element damage of that type to your regular damage, and if you use element based skills whole your damage will be of that element type(+ dmg of same element that you get from items).

Example:

Imagine this scenario. You got a ring on you that adds +20 poison damage and a weapon that adds +80 poison damage.Using those equipment, you attack an enemy with a posion skill that does 500 damage. It means you will do 500 poison damage + 20 poison damage from ring + 80 poison damage from weapon. If your enemy has 0% resistance to all those elements, outcome damage will be 600 elemental damage. On the other hand, using ice skill that does same 500 damage, your posion damage wont add on it,because its not same element,so outcome damage will be just 500 ice damage from your skill. If you use a normal attack and lets say you do 200 physical damage with your normal attack poison damage will add on that physical attack and your outcome damage will be 200 physical damage +80 poison damage from wep +20 poison damage from ring.

NOTE: Real damage in game isnt so easy to calculate, because beside elemental damage, you also do magical/physical damage added based on your magic/physical attack which varies a lot. Also, mobs have defence, just as chars do which lowers damage taken. For that reason, damage you do on your enemies will never be constant.

3.Resistance in 2Moons:

ELEMENTAL RESISTANCE
Besides elemental based attack, all classes and mobs in 2Moons can also have elemental resistance. Each character in 2Moons have certain % of resistance to each of the 5 elements. That resistance can vary from 0%-75% and it will decrease dmg taken from certain element exactly for as much % of resistance as you got.Mobs can also have element resistance,so you should choose your skills/equipment wisely when fighting them.

PHYSICAL/MAGICAL RESISTANCE
Beside elemental resistance, all chars/mobs in 2Moons can also have physical resistance. It varies as well and it deacrease physical dmg taken by amount of % resistance you got.
As for magical resistance,it DOESNT EXIST.There is no resistance from magical attacks, and that it what gives mage advantage when he use pure energy based skills(non-elemental).Those are the only skills that mage got and that no class/mob can defend from. When mage use energy skills his enemies will always receive full potential dmg of that skill.Problem is that current mage energy skills are very weak and noone use them.I hope that will change when new skills come out.

NOTE: Some people say that energy skills do physical damage to enemies instead of magical. That might be true, even if I dont believe it,but I havent tested it yet,as there are no useful energy skills I could test atm.As soon as new mage skills come out,I will let you know. ;)

4.Defence in 2Moons:

Lets see how defence works in 2Moons.Pretty simple.Defence reduces ANY damage that your char takes.Whenever someone hits you your defence will lower the damage that he does to you.More defence you got, less damage he will do to you.Thats why defence is so important in 2Moons.

5.Types of gems:

Now that you know about all that,we can finally talk about gems. ;)
There are many types of gems in 2Moons.Since you already know what is physical/magical damage, elemental damage, physical/elemental resistance and defence lets just list those gems with the description of what they do and what types there are:

COMMON GEMS
MEDIAL:-increases defence of your armor by certain amount.Amount can vary from +3~+29.+18,+21 and +25 medials are most used armor gems in this game.
Usage type: armors/helmets/shields
Known denominations: +3/+5/+9/+13/+18/+21/+25/+29/+33

RHOMBUS:-increases physical attack of your weapon by certain amount.Amount can vary from +5~+52.+44,+48 and +52 are most used weapon gems in this game.
Usage type: weapons only

PYRAMID:-increases magical attack of your weapon by certain amount.Amount can vary from +4~+40.+36 and +40 pyramids are used mostly by lower lvl mages.Good because there is no resistance to counter it.
Usage type: weapons only

HP STONE:-increases your hp when socketed on item by certain amount.Amount can vary from +5~+60.
Usage type: weapons/armors/helmets/shields

MP STONE:-same as hp stone but increases mana and amount varies from +5~+66
Usage type: weapons/armors/helmets

BLOCKING BIJOU:-increases block rate of your item by 2%.Mostly used by knights, low purpose for other classes and low price.Cant be obtained from drop before lvl90 dungeon.
Usage type: shields
Known denominations: +2%

GUARD BIJOU:-Same as blocking bijou but increase your guard rate
Usage type: helmets

CRITICAL BIJOU-increases your critical attack rate by 1%.High purpose and very high price on market, cant be obtained from drop before lvl90 dungeon
Usage type: weapons only
Known denominations: +1%

ALL DEFENCE -increase all elemental resistance by 2%.
Usage type: Armor only
Known denominations: +2%

ELEMENTAL GEMS

There are 5 shapes of elemental gems:
-SPHERE(lightning)
-BEAD(fire)
-CUBE(ice)
-SKULL(poison)
-CRYSTAL(curse)

There is also 3 kinds of gems based on their shape that add certain damage and resistance:

ATTACK GEM(%):-adds % amount of certain elemental damage to your dmg based on your physical/magical attack.Amount can vary from +1%~+5%.Can come in each of 5 shapes(for example attack bead, attack skull, etc.)
Usage type: weapons only
Known denominations: all from 1% to 5%

ATTACK GEM(+x):-adds +x amount of certain elemental damage to your weapon physical/magical attack.Amount can vary from +5~+47.Can come in each of 5 shapes(for example attack bead, attack skull, etc.)
Usage type: weapons only

DEFENCE GEM:-add % amount of elemental resistance to your item.Amount can vary from +1%~+9%.Can come in each of 5 shapes(for example defence sphere, defence crystal etc.)
Usage type: armors/helmets/shields
Known denominations: all from 1% to 9%

NOTE: Amount of resistance, attack, etc. that certain gems can give in this manual is based on current 2Moons expirience.I believe on higher lvls higher bonus gems will be dropped from mobs,we just dont know about them yet,so I cant write about them in this manual yet.

6.Gems usage in 2Moons:

In order to put gems into your items, those items need to have sockets in them.Amount of sockets an item can have varies from 1~4.Some items can have maximum of 2 sockets and some can have maximum of 4.Some items drop from monsters with sockets in them, but if you want to make sockets in items that doesnt have them, you have to take them to alchemist(can be found in both loa and braiken) and pay money to make sockets.Remember that it is risky and expensive. If you fail in making a socket on item that already have some sockets, you may lose 1 socket from that item as well.Prices of socketing go up with lvl of item and type of item(normal, magic, noble, divine).

NOTE: Legendary items can\’t be socketed.

7.Frequently asked questions section:

In this section of the guide I will answer on any questions that you might have about gems or anything connected with gems.If you want to ask something, just reply in this topic.

Q:How do I remove gems from my equipment?
A:You can remove gems from your equipment by visiting alchemist in loa/braiken and paying certain amount of DIL to remove each gem from its socket.Just remember that you will not get your gem back and if you fail you may lose 1 socket.

Q:What is better, rhombus(+x dmg) or attack gem(+x% dmg)?
A:It depends on your lvl and your physical/magical attack.Rhombus will add constant damage directly to your physical damage while attack gem will add % amount of your physical damage to your attack. If your physical attack is high enough, attack gem will add more damage then rhombus.

Example 1.:
Imagine your base physical attack is 1000.If you add +4% to that it will be 40 attack.Compared to +44 rhombus, gem will add less and therefore +44 rhombus will add more bonus then 4% gem if your attack is 1000.

Example 2.:
Imagine your base physical attack is 2000.4% gem will add 80 damage, while best rhombus atm is +52 dmg,so 4% gem will add 28 more dmg then best rhombus.Therefore,4% gem will add more bonus then +52 rhombus if your attack is 2000.

NOTE:
Have in mind that elemental resistance is much more common with mobs and chars then physical resistance.Even though attack gems sometimes add much more damage then rhombus, they can be easily resisted and net less bonus then rhombus in the end,so if you use attack gems, take care of mobs resistance.

Q:What is better, pyramid or attack gems?
A:It is same thing as with rhombus, only difference is that pyramid adds to magical damage instead of physical, and magical damage cant be resisted.Still,if a character has big magical damage, attack gems will give better bonus.

Q:What is better, medial or defence gems?
A:Medial,of course, but sometimes it is good to have 2 sets of armors,1 with medials, and another with defence gems.Reason for that is that mobs on certain maps(like lvl90 dungeon) have 100% elemental attack and by wearing armor of according element resistance you can lower the dmg you take from the mobs significantly.

Q:How come attack gems % is sometimes based on physical attack, and sometimes on magical?
A:Im not 100% sure about that, but afaik, elemental gems are based on the type of skills you use.If you use magic skills or magic attack,% of bonus attack gems add will be based on magical attack, and if you use physical skills or attack,% will be based on physical attack. That is only my opinion,I dont know how to explain it otherwise, since I tested both pyramids and attack gems on high magical attack, and attack gems always add more damage. It is possible that attack gems are based only on magical attack cause I havent tested physical yet,but according to many players that tested it thats not the case.If someone has different information, please let me know.

Q:I put a +3% gem in my wep but my atk hasn\’t changed. Does the damage show up in the atk stat?[/QUOTE]
A:No,when you use elemental gems(+x% gems) it wont show up in your stats because it isnt directly added on your stats. It is calculated from your base attack and added to your damage,so you can notice it only if you attack mobs with some other wep, then switch to wep with gem and attack again.Damage varies though so you will have to do it more times to actually feel the difference.

Q:Do gem effects add on segnale buffs or stack?
A:Gem effects add on segnale buffs. If youre getting certain attack from gem and segnale gives you attack buff, your dmg will be increased for amount of buff+amount of bonus that gem gives.Same is with other gems like medials and bijous.

2Moons Hunter Dagger User Guide

First thing first. STR is for noobs dont wast your stats on it. It iwll be a bit hard to level when you lower but it will pay off later. Put all available stast in Health. Use a low level dagger. when everyone else is running back and forth from respawn points you will be doing fine. When you hit level 35 you wont die very often if ever. At 36 you will powning the insatnce dungeon and leave your freinds level in the dust.
You will pown in Norak 2 and Castor 2, and waste no time running back and forth from dieing. You can aoe solo and level super fast!!!!

When you hit 55 -60 is when it really pays off ( as if you allready didnt pown everything). The only place faster for you to level is 88,88. If you cant find a spot there go solo. You will have no problem herding a group of 4 monsters and killing them even if they contain 2-3 mini bosses. think 5K + health and about 550 def.

Now my solo AOE guide for dagger hunters. Pretty much the same concept as in a party. Except less monsters. In the caves you can agro 2 monsters per person in crespo you agro 4. This is to your advantage. beace instead of running in a train for 1-2 minutes you run to spawns and heard the spawn and own it, then move on to next one.
Note:
use silent strike first. It slows them and bleeds them. Let the monsters bleed for a few seconds then use tumble attk. most monstes will die from theese two attks alone. If a mini boss is in your spwan hit spin move as it slows your enemy and thows you out of the spawn. while he (the mini boss) is agro, aloow him to follow while you heard smaller monsters. this way you wont waste mana…
Ellispe are every easy this way. if you get one elipse about 5K exp and 3 of the other monster about 2K exp each, and they die in 2 hits (3 X 2k = 6k), you are leveling pretty fast. tis will take little practice and aslong as at first you stay away from Clay you wont get stunned and will be fine.
You dont share drops, money or exp = )

2Moons Items Guide

Posted on 2007-11-28 by adminNo comments

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (No Ratings Yet)
Loading ... Loading ...

In 2Moons, you’ll find a variety of 2moons items, ranging from weapons and armor to potions, jewelry and other special 2moons item. You can also increase the effectiveness of some 2moons item in various ways, including adding magic to socketed 2moons item, using the socket refinement to add sockets, and level upgrades to increase the power of your weapons.

Kind of 2moons Item

Armor
Armor is designed for each part of the body, including legs, hands, torso, feet, and head. Armor increases your character’s defense, but magical armor may also increase your physical or elemental attack power/defense.

Weapons
There are more than a dozen different weapon types, including daggers, swords, great swords, axes, great axes, bows, crossbows, staffs, wands, shields, maces, great maces, twin swords and hand weapons such as the cestus. All weapons increase your character’s attack power, while some are required to use specific skills.2Moons Magical weapons and those enhanced through slot additions can offer extra power and effects. 2Moons weapons can also be upgraded to be even more powerful.

Rings and Necklaces
Rings are worn to increase your character’s abilities such as attack power, physical/magic power or elemental defense against fire, ice, lightning, poison, or curse attacks.

Socket Items
Socket Items can be inserted into sockets in weapons to increase attack power, or in armor to increase defense.
Fortifying 2moons Item are used to increase armor defense abilities or weapon attack power.

Disposables and others
You may collect and use many other items, which are destroyed when used, such as Health and Mana potions, arrows, bolts, return scrolls and others..

2Moons Item Options and Kinds of Items
There are five classifications of weapons and armor of 2Moons Item: normal, magic, noble, divine noble, and legend, in addition to socketed and upgraded items:

Item Classifications and Color

Normal 2moons Item (White): Items with normal attributes. White text.
Magic 2moons Item (Blue): Items with two random qualities added. Blue text.
Noble 2moons Item (Lavender): Items with three random qualities added. Lavender text.
Divine Noble 2moons Item (Yellow): Items with four random qualities added. The name is shown in yellow.
Socketed 2moons Item: Added effects depend on items inserted in the sockets. Options display in red text.
Upgraded 2moons Item: Upgraded items display a + in the item’s name, and will be more powerful than items that haven’t been upgraded.
Legend 2moons Item (green): Legend items are very rare and powerful, with specific qualities unique to each. Legend items are often parts of sets of items, which, when worn together, are even more powerful. Green text.

Obtaining Items
There are mainly four ways to obtain items
1. Purchase from a shop Normal items only.
2. Dropped items from monsters Monsters may drop any kind of item.
3. Rewarded items from quests You can gain special (sometimes unique) items by completing quests.
4. Purchasing from an individual shop Purchase items from other players, including unique socketed or upgraded items.

Socket Fortification

Fortifying Weapons/Armors
For socketed weapons and armor, there are specific upgrade items. Some will fit in either weapons or armor sockets, while others are specific to one or the other.

Socket Item Types

Socket Items: Health Stone, Mana Stone, Red Star, Yellow Star, Green Star, Blue Star
Application: Weapons and Armor

Socket Items: Max Medial, Defense Cube, Defense Bead, Defense Sphere, Defense Skull, Defense Crystal
Application: Armor (Shields, Helmets, and Armor)

Socket Items: Attack Cube, Attack Bead, Attack Spear, Attack Skull, Attack Crystal, Mini Rhombus, Max Rhombus
Application: Weapons (Daggers, swords, great swords, maces, great maces, axes, great axes, bows, crossbows, staffs, wands, twin swords, and gauntlets)

Socket Items: Mini Pyramid, Max Pyramid
Application: Specific weapons (Staffs, wands, twin swords)

Applying Items to Sockets
If a piece of armor or a weapon has empty sockets, you can upgrade that item(2moons equip).
1. Click on the socket item, and drop the item on the item with free sockets.
2. A window with title, ?item Fortification??will appear. It will ask Would you like to fortify the item? Press Confirm to complete the process.

Elemental Impacts of Socket Combination
When you fill the sockets on an item all with items of the same elemental property (ice, fire, lightning, poison, and curse) the item will glow with a color associated with that element.

How to Give Impacts
- Although each weapon is different, the maximum number of sockets for weapons is four.
- To obtain the elemental effect, you must fill all available slots with items of the same elemental property. If you mix different elemental properties, no special effect will be displayed.
- Shields have maximum number of four sockets, but shields with 3 sockets can also display elemental effects.
- Wands of lower quality can have a maximum number of two sockets, and can display elemental effects if both are filled. Higher classes of wands can have up to three sockets, and all must be filled to display elemental effects.

Maximum Number of Sockets

Max Socket Number Weapons
2 Dagger, Wand
3 Sword, Axe, Mace, Twin Sword, Wand, Shield
4 Great Sword, Great Axe, Bow, Crossbow, Staff, Shield, Great Mace, Gauntlet

2moons Item Upgrades

Argate System
Argate stones are very special items that you can use to further improve your weapons and armor. To do so:
1. Visit an Alchemist in either castle and select I would like to fortify a socket??
2. In the item section of the fortification window, insert the item you wish to upgrade. In the ingredient section, insert the Argate item.
3. If you want to increase your chance of success, place normal socket items in the other slots. Each item you add will increase the chance of success by a small percentage, up to a maximum of percent.
4. When you press ?ortify??the progress window will appear.
5. If the upgrade is successful, you’ll see the Upgrade Success! message. If the upgrade fails, the message will read, ?t Upgrade Failed!

- Minimum requirements for upgrading are: an 2moons item (weapon or armor), an ingredient (Argate) and DIL.
- Higher upgrades will cost more DIL and the chance of failure will also increase.
- If the upgrade fails, the Argate will be destroyed and item’s level will drop to 0. However, socketed items and their attributes will remain unchanged.
- You can upgrade an item up to level 9 (+9). Higher levels require different Argates:

Copper Argate: Upgrade +1 through +3 (High chance of success)
Silver Argate: Upgrade +4 through +6 (Lower chance of success)
Gold Argate: Upgrade +7 through +9 (Much lower chance of success)

All-purpose Guide to 2Moons Segnale Skills, Stats and

Posted on 2007-11-27 by adminNo comments

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (No Ratings Yet)
Loading ... Loading ...

Here is a all-purpose guide to 2Moons Segnale Skills, Stats and Tips. That’ s very goold….

STATS

You get exactly 5 points to allocate in any stat that you wish every time that you level. There is no stat cap as of the date that this guide was written either.

There are a few ways that you can go here. You should know by now that the weapons have stat requirements, and ours are Dex / Spr. You will now have a choice as to where you want the remaining points to go. I can not tell you “the best” way to go because there is a lot of room for flexibility in that area.

However, myself and a lot of players decide that with those remaining points that are left over (after we allocate the points we need into our weapon req.’s) should go to health.

The reasons for this are listed below.

#1 Having a high health stat will ensure that you don’t get interrupted nearly as often.
#2 Health increases that green bar as well as your health bar, so in PVP (and PvE) it will help you survive MUCH longer.

Note The other popular build is to put the majority of the remaining points into dex. This however will make you more of a glass cannon, so keep that in mind if you decide to go that route.

SKILL POINTS

There are a lot of opinions on how to spec your character skillwise, and like the stat point system this can be modified widely to fit your personal taste. At the endgame you have enough points to get just about every single skill maxxed out. However, untill then you are forced to choose wisely as I pointed out before. It isn’t untill your very high level that you start getting more points than you know what to do with.

The popular build ideas are listed below

Heal / Blood Build
This build gives the player the damage of the blood, yet the support role as a healer/buffer. The buffs that Segnale get are the best in game. This is a pretty safe build because it allows you to do some damage, yet allowing you the option to play a role in groups.

Curse/ Blood Build
There are a few variations, but the idea is to spec heavily (if not all) into these 2 trees. The main concept underlying this build is to pvp and deal damage. Leaving the healing and buffing completely behind, and simply focusing on dealing as much damage as possible. However the curse line spells as of now have extremely long casting timers which limits this builds functionality.

Healing/ Curse Build
This is mainly a party healer build. It is not reccommended to spec this route if you primarily solo kill. The Curse line gives some great skills, they are centered around debuffing mobs so others can kill it quicker. Therefore, players that wish to do this also put points into the blood line spells that have “curse” effects. This route is for PURE party play. Again however, the curse line spells as of now have extremely long casting timers which limits this builds functionality. Although speccing heavily into the Healing tree makes you a very popular, effective, and flexible healer.

Note I simply outline the poplular build options that you may decide to use. I only wish to generalize and do not want to place bias on any one build type. If you have fun with a build you put together and feel it is effective than that is exactly what is best for you. This may or may not work for all players.

SKILLS

Ok, this section is here to help you decide what skills are necessary. I am going to try NOT to put my personal beliefs into this section, but outline popular biases that other experieced segnales have had. This is the area of the game that allows you the player to put your personal “flare” on your specific Segnale.

Healing

Healing Mastery- This skill increases your passive mana regen, and most players decide to max this early on for that reason.

Self healing – This is a good skill to use while grinding solo mobs or in pvp. Its the most mana effective one to self heal with. The players that do decide to get this, usually put only one point into it (untill later levels), so they can self heal without switching targets.

Wound healing- This is a good skill to use early on if your grouping or duoing. It is the most mana efficient single target heal we get. It is a good heal to use if you don’t want to waste mana overhealing your tank, or if you simply need a fast heal.

Hyper heal- This is a truely magnificent heal. This is our area of effect heal. Anyone within the casting radius get the heal. However if a player wanders out of the radius before its cast is done they won’t get the effect. Likewise, if a player is outside the radius, and at the last minuite runs into the radius they will get the effect.

Recover- This is your resurrect spell. Most players only put one point into this, more points reduce the resurrection sickness and its duration.

Fast healing- This healing is your healing over time spell. This spell is amazing.

Dark Circle This skill decreases your mana over time and adds curse to your attacks. This skill is a good buff because it makes ALL your attacks curse based, and so the curse mastery skill will stack with it. Your build will determine whether or not to invest heavily into this buff.

Rising guard } I will cover all of these at once. The single target heals are generally more powerfull at later
Majic Shield } levels, but require you to cast them one by one. They are not needed to obtain the AOE

Great Guard } The AOE buffs are usefull in parties because it makes buffing real fast, however they are
Divine Shield } more mana costly, and generally weaker at higher levels. Most players prefer these.

Curse

Curse Mastery- This spell increases the attack power of all your curse spells. This means that all your curse based attacks in the blood line will do more damage as you put points into this. It also increases the potency of curse gems when using curse based skills. For more info on this see the section below on Gems.

Decrease Attack- Reduces the enemies attack. Long recast

Diminish- Reduces the enemies defence. Long recast

Anti Majic- Reduces the enemies Majic attack. Long recast

Paralyze- Causes the enemy to be “rooted” to the ground. You need at least one point in the other curse spells to get this one, and its very popular at the higher levels due to its reletivly long duration (or short duration depending on who you talk to).

Blood

Blood Mastry- This increases your HP regen rate. Its reccommended umong players to max this out, but save the points early on for more important skills. The reason for this is because you can heal yourself already, so its not as important as other skills at lower levels.

Ruins skull- Your fist skill what a joy! Its utter crap (lol), and most players don’t even put another point into this skill ever.

Death Side- Your first physical “root” type skill. Its effect is only long enough to get distance quick, get off a quick heal, or use another skill in succession to gain distance. This skill does decent damage, but later on you’ll get dread nail which has the same effect but more damage. Most players put only one point here and wait for dread nail.

Backdraft- This is your first curse based attack. It also happens to be the shortest recasting skill you’ll ever get. Its also one of the only skills you can use at a good distance to “pull” an enemy toward you. If you like this skill putting more points into it is fine. Some players put only one, and some keep a few points into it. Its up to you.

Blood Hit- This is one of your biggest physical hitting skills. As you get more points invested into it, it hits for more times and more damage. One thing a young player needs to realize though is that if one of the hits are blocked the rest of the combo is stopped. Nonetheless, no one will argue that this skill is a deadly one at all levels. Again, if you like this skill putting more points into it is fine .

Vampire- This is a physical attack that Hits the enemy once for good damage, and heals you over time for a good amount. This is another fine skill that is up to your discretion as to how many points to allocate toward it. Because Blood hit and others are soo popular though, players may want to wait till higher levels to start investing.

Dread Nail- This is a curse based attack that also “roots” the target to the ground. It hits for 3 times. Its one of the highest single target curse based damage spells we have, so keep that in mind when deciding if you want to put one or more points into it. Its also a very fast casting spell, and does not get interrupted as often.

Evil Spear- THis is part curse attack and part physical attack. It has the potential to hit multiple enemies if you position it right. Its recasst is just above that of backdraft which means its a very fast casting spell, and its also part curse based which means curse mastery stacks with it. Oh joy!

Curse Field- This is our Curse based Area of Effect. This is argueably one of the best AOE’s in the entire game. It contaminates the area with curse for 10 seconds. This is one of the best skills we get. Puting points into this is a wise investment.

Evil Crow- This is also one of our high damage attacks. The First and last hits are curse based and the rest are physical attacks. This skill hits for six times, and does real good damage. Puting points into this is a wise investment.

HEALING TIPS

Some of you may know this already, but it warrants repeating here. Segnales are not your average healer, and as such I felt as though a few tips were needed that apply to us.

—>To target yourself in order to use Wound Healing or buffs, press the letter E on your keyboard.
—>To Switch between hotbar 1 and 2 press the letter Z on your keyboard.
—>Make sure you never stray too far from your tank. If you rely heavily on Hyper Heal then this is vital because tanks have a habit of being out of the healing radius at the last minuite.
—>Keep your health bar under control first and foremost! You can always use Recover on them later if they die, but if you die then they have a long run.
—>Attack the Monster! Segnales do good damage and people know it. A wise Segnale will know how to attack, and at the same time monitor the health of the party.
—>Don’t be afraid to step back for a minuite when the going gets tough to concentrate on healing and buffing. We can attack and do damage, but no one else can fill the role of a healer. If you have to step back in order to keep the tank from dieing, then politely do so, and when the situation is under control resume your havok.

Leveling is a process in almost every MMORPG, but it’s also really boring. How to level up efficiently? Here are some advices for Bagi warrior.

I.)Introduction
The first thing most people think of when they hear ‘Bagi Warrior’ is, a tank. That is mostly true. Bagis are known for their health and defense, although not all choose to follow that path. Others choose to go for power and strength, and although there’s nothing wrong with this, Bagis do not give out as much damage output as other classes. However, what Bagis lack in power, they make up for in survivability. One important aspect that Bagis specialize in is their knockback and stun abilities. Bagis are known to be an annoyance because they can interrupt you in the midst of your skill, canceling it and knocking you back at the same time. Quote on quote, Bagis are known to be the ‘King of PvP’ at end game, so if love PvP, Bagis are an excellent choice to go.

II.) Leveling Guide
*One of the reasons that people have trouble training Bagis is because of the limited skills at lower level. However, it’s quite easy to level a Bagi if you know how to do so.

-From level 1-11, train on the outskirts of Loa or Braiken castle. Training here should be a breeze.

-Once you’ve achieved level 11, enter the Maze of Newbies. This is a excellent solo dungeon that gives you both potions and experience at the same time.

-Once you’ve achieved level 19, you have two choices to train at: at denebe or inside norak/castor cave, 1st floor. Both are equally adequate, but keep in mind denebe is a non-pvp map, and norak/castor has pvp enabled, meaning anyone can player-kill you while your inside the cave.

-At level 25 (or sooner, however you prefer), head to Heiharp and see how you fare there. The best experience you can get is with a party, mainly because it takes less time and less work to kill a group of monsters with a party. It’s up to you to train here until you’ve reached level 34, or you can try Requies, a jungle like map just north of denebe.

-Once you reach 34, head into the Requies dungeon. This is a solo dungeon that requires you to do several tasks to complete the entire dungeon. Upon completion, you earn an additional 50,000 experience points. You may not be able to complete this dungeon the couple first tries or even until your late 30’s, but this dungeon is by far, the best experience you can get at this stage. Once you’ve reached the low 40’s, this dungeon should be much easier. There’s also an optional boss you can attempt to kill by getting the 3 relics hidden inside the Chamber of Space. Killing this boss rewards you with a very nice ring. I suggest you do this dungeon until 55, since it’s still the best experience you can get.

-Once you’ve reached 55 (or 50), you can do one of three things: train inside of norak/castor cave by yourself or with a party, train inside Parca Shrine, or head out to crespo to train there. Parca Shrine isn’t the best area for experience points, mainly just for commission points. At level 55, crespo may be a bit difficult, unless you find a party to do the commission quest and train as well.

-During your training from 55-60, you should save up on money. Upon reaching 60, you can now enter the Dungeon of Crespo, a party dungeon that has three section (Dungeon C, Dungeon B, Dungeon A) and costs 300k to enter. However, if you go with a party of 6, each party member only needs to pay 50k. This is a quite decent dungeon that gives you experience and different gems that you may find useful, such as medials, rhombuses, elemental damage gems, or elemental resistance gems. You can also continue training in crespo doing the commission quest (s) with a party or just soloing, however you enjoy it.

-Once you’ve reached 65, you can have three options to choose from: continue training in Dungeon C, head out to Draco Desert, or do Dungeon B, which is harder than Dungeon C, because of the higher level mobs. However, it does give more experience and better gem rewards. Draco desert is a different view from crespo, mainly because it’s a desert, unlike the snow you constantly see in crespo. I wouldn’t advise doing the 65 commission quest, because it’s just a waste of money. I suggest doing dungeon B from 65+.

-Once you’ve reached 70 (Hurray!), continue training in Dungeon B or head out to Draco desert where it’s a bit easier to solo train here while also doing the level 70 commission for money and adventure points.

-Upon reach the big 75 (halfway there), you can attempt doing Dungeon A, which is the hardest of the three sections, but also gives better experience and gems. However, if you find it a bit hard, continue doing dungeon B.

To be continued until I’ve past this .

III.) Stat Guide
*There are a lot of different ways a Bagi Warrior can go, and here are the pro’s and con’s of going ‘pure’ builds:

-A strength Bagi:
A strength Bagi has good damage and is very good for PvE (Player versus Environment), but lacks in PvP mainly because of the low health and shield.

-A dexterity Bagi:
A full dexterity Bagi has good attack rate, block rate, and guard rate. It’s decent but PvE, but this build isn’t very successful in getting far.

-A heal Bagi:
A full heal Bagi has excellent defense and a lot of health for survivibility. This build is perfect for PvP, but lacks in damage.

-A spirit Bagi:
A full spirit Bagi has a lot of mana to utilize, but this build isn’t very good, PvE and PvP wise.

Now that we’ve gotten past all the ‘pure’ builds, let’s discuss the popular builds:

-A str/heal Bagi:
This build is both good for PvP and PvE due to the decent damage that’s put into strength, and the decent heal to ensure survivability and defense. Suggested points per level: 3 strength/2 heal. When you’ve reached the level to wear your next weapon, put the entire 5 points into dexterity in order to wield it.

-A heal/str Bagi:
This build is similar to the str/heal build, except this build is more focused towards survivability and defense. Suggested points per level: 3 heal/2 strength. When you’ve reached the level to wear your next weapon, put the entire 5 points into dexterity to wield it.

-A pure strength Bagi:
This build is the perfect build for PvE, mainly due to it’s high damage output and quickness in killing monsters. Suggested points per level: 5 strength. When you’ve reached the level to wear your next weapon, put the entire 5 points into dexterity to wield it.

A pure heal Bagi:
This build is the perfect build for PvP, mainly due to the high shield, defense, and health a Bagi has, making it difficult for an opponent to defeat. Suggested points per level: 5 health. Make sure that you do have enough strength and dexterity in order to wear your next weapon.

IV.) Skill Guide
Besides having strength to do damage, increasing the level of your skills helps improve your damage rate as well. You can decide what you wish to improve in, but here are some important factors you may wish to train in:

-At low level, the passive skills, Martial Arts Mastery and Horn Mastery, may not seem useful to you, but at higher level (say, 60+), it comes in handy. I suggest you adding some skill points into these to help you.

-Wild Bash and Double Smash may seem helpful at lower levels, but don’t invest too many points into them, because at higher level, they become quite useless as you have other skills that are more useful.

-Your buffs, instinct speed, instinct power, defensive, magical resistance, physical resistance, and resistance, are very useful. Max them out as soon as you can.

The other skills you have are optional, and it’s up to you to decide whether or not you wish to improve upon them.

If you want be a good Bagis, either a tank or something else, you must get good equipments and arm yourself strongly, so use all to your dil to buy the most powerful items, your will be the focus in your team and nightmare for your opponents.

Basically to solo AoE, you would aggro 2-4 mobs, run to a non-aggro, stop and AoE there so you can hit as many as possible. Either run in circle or zig-zag so you won’t lose em. avoid range attackers cuz they won’t follow you, or run other mobs to them and AoE there.

For AoE builds, most of our damage come from skills and not dagger damage or stat. That means Heal as the most important stat for a dagger hunter, because it gives you more pvp shield, def, and HP. I also believe dex is second-most important because effects bow/xbow damage, your hit chance (attack rating or AR), and guard. Str and Spirit are the least important stats, but if you feel like you always run out of MP then put in Spirit a few points, or use +MP gems. My latest build is a Hybrid Dagger/Xbow build, where I put just enough Str, Dex for the latest Dagger and Xbow, 5 in spirit, and the rest in Heal. Not the strongest in Duel or Solo grinding, but I like its versatility. At Lv 66 I have something like 32 Str, 153 Dex, 150 Heal, and I’m liking it. I’ve heard builds that are all heal and they only use a Lv 12 dagger up to Lv 90…point is, there’re many other viable builds out there, so try them out and pick one that matches your play style.

Please contribute if you know a good spot. for starter:

1-14: No AoE for ya. use your weak arse bow

15-16: Denebe. grab a few knights and run to another mob nearby.

16-20: Den of Norak 1, those lvl 17 bugs at near entrance from denebe. They are non-aggro but there’re many. run around stab em all and then AoE. FAST exp.

20-24: lv 20 Mantis NW in denebe, near 2 small pools. there’re lots of them. FAST exp. grab matis quest at farmer also.

24-30: no AoE spots that i know of. you’re better off grouping in heihaf. set return point in parka shrine.

30-34:Heihaf penril knights. start from shrine, go south east a little. many knights there. then continue down south followin path between 2 lakes. great spot at the very end. at 33 you can go up along the East edge of map, lots of mobs there. I ran up and down between 2 spots constantly AoEing. I duo with an AoE knight and it worked well here. Another option is grouping.

34-50: 34 dungeon in requies beach. your goal at lvl 34 is not to die and run out of money  once you get level 36 it’s much easier. At lvl 37 I got to the end statue with 15 mins left. You can MAKE money actually, if you want, by solving the maze in training space and grabbing all the chests. I went from $100k at lvl 34, down to 35k due to noobness and dying, then now I’m back to 100k+, gained 3 levels. TIPS: fight mobs at the wood doors, and chests. your AoE will knock em out as well.

More to be coming…..

2Moons Incar Solo Leveling Spots Guide

I’ve figured that I’d put together a compilation of spots for Incars to level solo on. This isn’t a guide for people to give away their favorite little spots by coordinates or anything like that. I’m just going to list what mobs I killed at what level, and I hope that people reading this will contribute their experiences as well. This is also not a contest to figure out who has the best leveling spot, I encourage anyone reading this to try the leveling spots listed and use which ones work best for them. As always, remember there are many many good spots for leveling, and if someone is in “your spot” then finding a new one is usually better than competing.

tl;dr – Don’t troll!

Please put a * near spots you are unsure of!

Level – Area – Mobs/Explaination

1-8 – Noob Zones – Kill quest mobs and do a bit of grinding (the quests are important for access to the noob maze later on.)

7-15 – North Morte/Ares – Do the noob mazes in both areas (requires the blaverus/mofa and larva/spider quests in loa/braiken)

14-16 – Denebe – Lizardmen & Lizardmen Knights, if you move away from the entrance to denebe there are spots with less players.

16-20 – Denebe – Mantises. I leveled on these for a while, they aggro and there are some fast spawning spots if you look.

18-24 – Castor Cave – Zombie Hosts

18-20 – Castor Cave – Skeleton Archers & Fighters

18-24 – Norak Cave – Yeterians/Yetarian Bows

26-30 – Heiharp – Penril Knights & Fighters(AoE) You can AoE these in groups of 3-4, killing hunters when necessary.

27-30 – Requies – Helioms (Get the quest from the farmer in denebe for the extra exp, it’s a lot.)

30-32 – Requies – Sylvans (the big lobsters on the becah) Get the quest from the farmer’s wife, it’s worth a lot of exp.

32-34 – Requies – Nihilis(AoE) they are much easier in a group, and there is quest in Requies (at Lukas) to kill 100.

34-36 – Requies – Echidnas(AoE, myrmaid looking things), again get a quest at Lukas after finishing nihilis.

36-38 – Requies – Asrons(AoE) Once more, get quest at Lukas after echidnas.

40-50 – Frozen Valley of Vengence – The further north you go, the harder the mobs are. Do the quests that you recieve here to get armor & helm with four sockets each.

34-50 – Requies Instant Dungeon – Do the dungeon as many times until you get bored. It can cost a lot of money though, I wasn’t able to complete it until 41.
