Concentration – {Level 32 and 12 Dexterity} – [9-12-20-48-173] – [65 MP] – Increases hit ratio & effectiveness of skills. – Helps a lot when fighting, at level 5 it increases the ratio by 25%. So shield stun has a 100% chance of success and the other skills almost always hit too. You can also use this to buff people in your party. Lasts for 300 seconds, 5 minutes. Double Bash – {Level 38 and 35 Strength} – [10-13-22-54-194] – [88 MP] – Melee attack which uses 2 strong hits. – Awesome PvP & PvM skill that at level 5 adds 320% damage, 120% each hit. Defend – {Level 38 and 17 Constitution} – [10-14-24-57-205] – Decreases long-range damage you receive. – Good in PvP against archers, rangers, and mages. At level 5 it reduces the long-range damage you take by 25%. Dark Immunity – {Level 38 and 17 Dexterity} – [155] – Gives immunity to the witch skill "Blindness". – Although only 3% of the Mage population go witch, I would get this skill just to be sure. I'd get this skill later, get the more important skills first. Triple Bash – {Level 44 and 52 Strength} – [11-15-25-60-216] – [118 MP] – Melee attack which uses 3 strong hits. – Ultimate Royal Knight attack that adds 300% damage. Works great with Double Bash. The Triple Bash + Double Bash combo brings fear into many of your opponents. Two Hand Control – {Level 50} – [21-31-51-110-360] – Increases attack damage. – At level 5 this skill adds 120 damage. Royal Resist – {Level 60} – [48-60] – Increases physical & magic defense. – It has only 2 levels and the increase in physical & magic defense is very little but since you probably have a lot of free SP at level 60 I guess you can get it. – At level 2 it adds 10 physical and magical defense. Dash – {Level 70, and 100 Strength, and 100,000 gold} – [60-90-140-270-890] – [136 MP] – Sudden Mid-Range Stun on target. – At level 5 the stun lasts 8.5 seconds.   Knight Training Here’s training for before Class Change: Levels 1 - 5 – Foxes Levels 6 - 8 – Elder Wolves > Dire Wolves Levels 8 - 10 – Berserker Wolves Levels 10 - 15 – Elite Goblins Levels 15 - 16 – Larva Levels 16 - 19 – Little Treants Levels 19 - 21 – Drakes Levels 21 - 22 – Harpys Levels 22 - 24 – Great Horn Beast Levels 24 - 25 – Treants Levels 25 - 30 – Dratan Temple Solo Parties Levels 30 - 31 – Berserker Class Change to Royal Knight Levels 31 - 34 – Berserker Levels 34 - 36 – Gnolls and Gnoll Lancers Levels 36 - 40 – Highlanders Levels 40 - 44 – Spike Canine > Dire Spike Canine Levels 44 - 45 – Dire Spike Canine > Two Headed Canine Levels 45 - 50 – Beats Scythe > Beast Flyer Levels 50 - 65 – Egeha Bogle Parties

Here’s some stuff you’ll need to know. There is a article about mage PVP to other class. Before we get into it, I'd like to offer one big piece of advice for people new to PvP:Don't be afraid to die.   PvP  Arena Style! Basically if u fight with honor and style most people do the 000000 count down which is where 1 person types 000000 and after it disappears thats when the battle begins. The way i have my list set up is Basically F1 Nova, F2 Terra Spear, F3 Flame Field, F4 Freezing arrow, F5 Curse, F6 Sloth Those are the best skills for a wizards to use in the arena.   Knights-Titans: When fighting a melee character your best bet would be to not let them get near you. Heres what you do. First when the battle starts use Curse right away. after you used Curse and you are at a good distance away, use Sloth. Now the battle is pretty simple all you have to do is stay away from the person and use hit and run tactic. Running in a circular motion using 2 spells at a time is a great idea also. Just basically all u have to do is time ur spells at see how far away you are from the person u are fighting.   Fighting a Healer: If you plan to fight a healer with a bow that is ur lvl or lower (before lvl 38 ) just use ur sloth spell then spam ur high damage spells if u plan to fight a healer level 38+ use sloth right away before they use silence. after that u should be able to win due to mages attacks with out spells are strong enough to kill a healer. You can use silence potion but most people will complain.   Cleric- Just use your spells clerics are a lot simpler to kill when ur a mage   Fighting a Mage: Basically your only hope is to spam the strongest spells fastest. use sloth of corse but other then that u have to be able to kill fast   Fighting summoners: Just kite them unless they use mage form then just spam spells faster   Fighting a Rogue: Fighting a xbow rogue is very hard Make sure u sloth ( you will notice sloth is a very usefull skill) Spam ur skills fast thats ur only hope

A Lastchaos New Player’s Guide to PvP

Hello,Lastchaos players. If you want to get started PvPing in Lastchaos! Great! Here’s some stuff you’ll need to know. Before we get into it, I'd like to offer one big piece of advice for people new to PvP:Don't be afraid to die.   Q: Which servers support PvP? A: Currently, Kat 1-4 are PvP enabled. You can play on Kat 5 and 6 without worry of being pk’d (killed by a player). Cariae 1 and 2 are PvP enabled, while 3 and 4 are disabled. Q: When can I start killing other players? A: Level 16. Before that you are protected from player killers. Similarly, you cannot attack anyone below L16. If you try to attack someone who’s too low a level, it’ll look like you’re attacking, but you won’t be able to do any damage. Q: Wait! I'm not Level 16 yet and I just got PK'd. What happened?! A: There is an exploit that one class can use to PK when they shouldn't be able. The player who PK'd you was exploiting game mechanics and could be banned. Q: What does PvP/PK stand for? A: PvP = Player vs. Player – as opposed to PvE which is Player vs. Environment (Pretty much anything you can find to fight that is NOT another player is considered PvE). PK = Player Killer. I'm sure you get the point Q: How do I get started PvPing? A: Just hit the ‘a’ button on your keyboard and a command menu will come up with a list of actions. You’ll find a button, which toggles your PvP status on and off. Once you’re toggled on, you can start killing. It’s as simple as attacking a monster. Be warned. Players are a lot smarter than your average Horned Beast. Q: Do I get anything for PvPing? A: No – well unless you count fun as something. PvP has no benefit. You won’t get gold or items or experience, but you might just have a lot of fun. Q: Are there any down sides to PvPing? A: Yes – lots. As I said above, not everything is well documented, but we know that you may lose experience for dying in PvP. "Evil" characters really have it tough. They can have their stats lowered, lose greater amounts of xp, and have their items sealed, not to mention the fact that they are often relentlessly hunted by hordes of White and Blue named characters. Talk about being the center of attention! Q: What class is best for PvP? A: There will be a lot of debate about this but, in one vs one combat, the Rogue has shown to be consistently strong in lower levels. At higher levels it gets much more complicated. Rogues lose a lot of their early advantages. Level seems to be the best predictor of victory. As few as 3 or 4 levels can mean a huge advantage. In mass PvP (group on group), you’ll find that other classes are not merely helpful, but essential. Q: Somebody killed me and I wasn’t PvP enabled. What happened? A: I’ll outline below exactly how the PvP enabled and Good/Evil systems work. Check it out. The main thing you need to know is that you have to be PvP enabled to attack someone else. You do not need to be PvP enabled to be attacked. This might seem a little unfair, but there are systems in place to penalize the attacker, and help you just a little in this sort of situation. Q: How do I get a Blue name? A: Kill Red named players who are above your level. Q: What and where is the PvP arena? A: The PvP arena is in Randol on the East side of the city. It’s an area where you can practice your PvP without penalty. You will not lose experience for dying there, and you will not gain or lose good/evil points for fighting there. Typically people duel in the arena, though sometimes it turns into “king of the hill”, or occasionally group vs. group. Q: Are there safe zones? A: Yes, Cities are PvP safe. You’ll also find that the entrance to dungeons tends to be safe, and the areas around Herbs, Stone, and Energy locations are PvP safe. Q: I can’t turn my PvP mode On or Off even though I’m not in a safe zone. A: If you have recently killed someone, there’s a long timer before you can disable PvP. This, I suppose is so you are not immune from retribution. You will not be able to turn this off until the timer is done. If you go into a city, your PvP will be disabled automatically. You will not be able to turn it back on until the timer has finished. Q: How do I get rid of my red name? A: This has become such a big topic, I've made a special section for it down towards the end of the post. Q: How did I get negative xp and what can I do about it? A: Here's another big topic with a special section below.

Rogue in Lastchaos

Introduction First thing i want to say is, this guide is a suggestion.  Currently this guide will only follow up to ROGUE. Assasin and hunter will not be covered yet, but they will be in an update that will be out soon. This guide is meant as two things. One is to get you familiar with the character and allow you to know everything that is possible with the rogue. The other is to bring together alot of stuff that has already been said in these forums, but are chopped up into little parts from different people. So lets get started shall we. Also if you want to leave karma you can, if not no big deal. Im not worried about all that. So have said all that, lets get on with it. What does it mean to play Rogue. ah the Rogue, fond memories indeed come from the name Rogue. For many more people than just I, the Rogue symbolizes everything that playing an RPG should be. From early years of Dungeons and Dragons (before AD&D) And also onto to modern day games such as WoW. The Rogue stands for individuality, that certain sense of im going to do whatever the heck i want, be it good, bad, or nuetral. Rogue's also have other aliases. The ninja for instance, the more common association for a Rogue to have. Sly, Cunning, and Witty to boot (who woulda thought that such sloppy killers of the real world would become such silent killers in the fantasy world). Alas we move on, the Theif, more often used in such games as Baldurs Gate, and games such as Final Fantasy Tactics. To steal is to live, sayeth the Theif. From a game standpoint rather than a philosophical one though, they are generally viewed as the main source of Damage Output Over Time (DOOT more commonly refered to as DPS (Damage Per Second)). They have the quickest attacks with the least amount of recoil. If you want to throw defense to the wind run practically naked into a mob and kill 16 people in a flash, say hello to the Rogue. Bottom line, Rogues are not a class. Rogues are the ultimately the player's esscence in the game, Rogues become the player, Not the other way around. Things you should know at the Beginning so you are starting your rogue and your in the middle of town and your thinking.....oh no, i have no idea what to do. Last chaos is so unfocused that alot of the time it is very overwhelming in the beginning. So lets get you some direction. Ok lets go over alot of things that get overlooked and some things that alot of people dont really know. When you start out in this guide your gonna go kill alot of monster's with absolutely no though to much of anything else on the way. So you are gonna miss alot of things. Though while alot of people in this game are helpful and dont call people newbs alot. The new people are afraid of being called newbs so much that they refrain from asking any questions whatsoever. So talkin about stat points. Where the heck am i supposed to put them you ask. Well lets first explain exactly what each stat point gives you shall we. But first real quick lets see what each attribute does shall we. Rogue as a class in this game specifically A Rogue in Last Chaos is a Damage Per Second machine like in most other Massive Multiplayer Role-Playing Games. They are the fastest leveling characters in the game when put in the hands of an adept player. Though put into the hands of a begginer that is starting into MMO's they will be turned to dust in second's. The Strength's of a Rogue is that they can be very fast in this game, both during movement and battle. A rogue can usually get at least 2 hits in while his opponent gets 1. Also if needed a rogue can run from most players due to certain abilities that i will list later on. Some say that the Rogue is the best character for PVP. Others say they are junk, some say it depends on the situation. That is why i remind you this is a loose guideline to the rogue. Equipment There is'nt really a whole lot to say about equipment. But i do have a few things. Firstly always purchase the next equipment up, unless f course your dont have the money. Or your current bonuses (such as the + modifiers you get for upgrading them) are better, then you can hold off. It gets very pricey to upgrade equipment later on in the 20's and higher. Supposedly when upgrading weapons and armor, you have a 30% chance of succeding. Though i have found this to be bullcrap because i have succesfully failed like 7 times in a row.....so im not sure, it was really a scientific analysis. Just seems fishy to me. There is several ways to upgrade your equipment though. The first way is to use a smelting stone on them. You can get smelting stones by taking unused equipment that you most likely will pick up during your grinding sessions. You take this equipment to the transmuter. Then you have to pay a specific price based on the piece of equipment. This will produce a smelting stone of the same level, weapons will produce two smelting stones and armor produces one. You must have a smelting stone of equal or higher level of the equipment you want to upgrade to be able to do so. Everytime you succesfully upgrade a piece of equipment it gets a +1 modifier. This will usually add a small amount of attack power. But be careful though. The first three levels that you try to upgrade will be safe, if you fail it just fails nothing bad happens. But after the +3 marker watch out. If you fail from now on you may as well kiss your weapon goodbye.....(sometimes the modifier just goes down by -1 but very rarely, you usually lose the weapon for good.). that is where heaven stones and Extreme stones come in. Heaven stones have a higher chance of sucess. Though there is word that it is a 50% chance as opposed to the 30% that you have with smelting stones i still have yet to see a heaven stone work for me.....maybe just bad luck though i guess. heaven stones are not that hard to get, but at the same time they cost around 300k from other players give or take 1-200k here and there. You will very well come across more than a few in your journey's but due to the high asking price, i suggest you sell them. Its much more apealing to the rogue to get better equipment when the time comes than to be able to have a 1/2 chance to break his weapon if you know what i mean. Then comes extreme stones. These things are rare, and i have never seen one (meaning ive never seen the icon of one, one on the ground, or anyone selling one.) they can sell for outrageous amounts. They give you a 100% chance to upgrade a piece of equipment sucesfully. So usually people will luck there way up to +9 with smelting stones and heaven stones, and then buy an extreme stone for that last +1. Anyway most of the time with your rogue you will want to run around with a crossbow....probably the whole way up to level 31 until your class change. Also if your a hunter you will want to keep the crossbow. The reason for using a crossbow as a rogue for this guide is because you cut out alot of time running back and forth to the mobs. If you have to run 2 seconds between mobs and you kill 3000 mobs (trust me you will be killing A LOT MORE THAN THIS!!!.) then thats 6000 seconds in your grinding day that you werent killing something.....which translates into into 1 hour and 40 minutes more that you have to grind. So you can either shave that 2 hours off or you deal with it because you want the knife that bad....the whole way up to 31 the knife doesnt have enough power to be worth 2 hours anyway, you will not kill things faster with the knife during this guide. Also for best success with this guide and in general always try to have your current weapon at +4 or higher. If thats not possible due to money constraints or other reason it is ok to do it with +3 or lower, just might take a little longer. (i did it with a +3 weapon just so you know). Now on to the equipment shall we.

The Guardian: - The Role of Being a Guardian - How to Become a Guardian - Recruiting New Players as Your Apprentices - The Ultimate Goal of a Guardian - Rewards for Your Guardian Service - Downsides to Guardians - Factors That Make a Good Guardian - Requirements to Be a Guardian   The Apprentice: - The Role of the Apprentice - How to Become an Apprentice - What NEVER to Do As an Apprentice - Rewards for Dedicated Apprentices - Downsides to Apprentices - Requirements to Become an Apprentice The Guardian:   The Role of Being a Guardian: The purpose of being a Guardian is fairly simple. Guardians are put in the game Last Chaos so that they can share their knowledge of the game to new players, or Apprentices, who are just starting out. New players to the game don’t really know much about Last Chaos or where to start the new experience, and so are boggled down with questions, not sure who to ask. Often times, you will find someone new to the game standing in the middle of town, unsure where to go or what to do, asking for help to anyone who will listen. This is where the Guardian comes in! A Guardian’s job is to answer any questions this new player may have and possibly help the new character level. Also, if he’s giving, the Guardian may want to give the Apprentice a starter pack of items the Apprentice can use to better help level his character. This starter pack may be a better weapon than the new character has already or maybe new armor. Note: giving the Apprentice new stuff is not required of a Guardian, though it may be useful. What is required of the Guardian is to strive to help the new player as best as he can, answer any questions the person may have, and of course the optional helping the new person level. A great chance to make a friend or two.   How to Become a Guardian: Interested in helping the community of Last Chaos by offering your help as a Guardian? Great! As long as you have the qualities of patience, understanding, and care, while also knowing a good bit about the game Last Chaos and how to play, you can become a Guardian! ...provided that you’re above level 20. To become a Guardian (follow the pictures), go to the status icon located on the top left side of the in-game Last Chaos screen.Once the pop up window appears, click on the 3rd tab. This is the Action Tab. Scroll down until you see the “Guardian System” icon. On the icon should be a picture of two guys, one taller one with his hand on the shorter guy’s shoulder. Click on this and then the game will give you a short summary of what a Guardian does, finally asking you if you really wish to take part as a Guardian. Click confirm at any time. Congratulations! You are now a Guardian!   Recruiting New Players as Your Apprentices: Ok… so now you’ve managed to make yourself a guardian. What do you do now? Find Apprentices silly! Last Chaos is filled with new members just trying out the game for the first time or old members who decided, out of the blue, to make a second character. To recruit people as your apprentice, you can advertise or stand outside Juno looking for people who are fighting wolves or panthers. Once spotting a few, ask them if they need your help with leveling or have any unasked questions you can answer. Then explain your role as a guardian and how to make you their guardian. Finally, enjoy the company of your new apprentices if they oblige. Sometimes, if you’re lucky, new players will come to you. And sometimes you can find people confused with the game in the Juno town asking for help. This is your perfect opportunity!   The Ultimate Goal of a Guardian: The ultimate goal of a Guardian is to get the Apprentice to level 20 in 10 days. Yes, I know what you’re probably thinking, “:shock:Level 20 in only 10 days?!?!?! IMPOSSIBLE!!” Well, not really. If you’re a dedicated Guardian and aid your apprentice along the way, getting him to level 20 in 10 days isn’t as hard as it seems, not including the occasional downsides of your apprentice being afk or not on the game at all 90% of the time… though this isn’t the case for all apprentices. The trick to getting your apprentice to level 20 in 10 days? Well, it all lies with how much you are able to help your apprentice. Answering questions the apprentice may have so that he isn’t wasting time standing around unsure of what do is a good way to start. Also, an importing key factor to successfully making your apprentice level 20 within the 10 day limit is to offer your help to him! Don’t wait for him to go to you. Offer to party with him in hopes that he will gain a level or two with your aid. Remember -> you’re a lot higher than the apprentice is so therefore, you can kill a lot of mobs faster than he can. This can play a great role in getting the apprentice up a few levels faster. However, this key factor was brought to my attention: partying an Apprentice yourself may not be a good idea because 1) the poor Apprentice may die due to mobs being way above his level and 2) you'll be several levels higher than the Apprentice so the Apprentice may get a bit less exp than he would if he was partying with people around his level. Also a good point to take note of is that lower level players level faster than higher ones, so don’t feel overwhelmed just because your apprentice may be 15 levels from getting to level 20. He will decrease the gap quickly. Another key factor is a positive attitude. Like in the real world, if you don’t seem like you like what you do, others won’t like it either. Just some advice to consider    Rewards for Your Guardian Service: Each time the apprentice gets to level 20 in 10 days, you will receive 10 reputation points. These points can later be used to get certain items by going to the merchant Geres and exchanging your points with a prize. If you get 100 reputation points, for example, you get an extreme stone which is very valuable. Also, being a Guardian is a great chance to get to know more people in Last Chaos and make more friends. If you fail to get the apprentice to level 20 in 10 days however, this failure gets added onto your Guardian record, which can be viewed by any new players browsing down the list of Guardians in the Guardian System.   Downsides to Guardians: There are many factors that can make the job of a Guardian quite difficult. One is when your Apprentice all of a sudden stops logging onto the game or is on the game but is always afk (away from the keyboard, idol in other words). This cannot be helped. All you can do is try to find even more Apprentices who will make your Guardian job a success.   Factors That Make a Good Guardian: As I said earlier, your eagerness to help your Apprentice plays a major role. Other things that can help is maybe equal partying with your Apprentice to help him level (though there are downsides to equal partying. See above) and maybe buying a better weapon for your Apprentice or better armor. These two things are not REQUIRED however, so you don’t have to do them. But lower level armor and weapons are easy to afford for a higher level player and can be easily bought from the npc, while your Apprentice may not have enough extra cash to buy them. Also what may help is you could probably add to your Apprentices stats by +sing the armor or weapon by using those upgrading stones. But if you can’t afford the extra cost of buying or upgrading your Apprentice’s armor and/or weapons, you 100% don’t have to. It’s only an option you can make use of.   Requirements to Be a Guardian: To be a Guardian, you must be over level 20 (level 20 and above) and have a good amount of knowledge of Last Chaos. In other words, you must know what you're doing. This is the end of the section on how to be a Guardian. Good luck!   The Apprentice:   The Role of the Apprentice: Need help? Don’t know where to start your adventure in Last Chaos? Basically, Apprentices are new players who need help with the game Last Chaos and want someone to aid him/her with leveling. If you’re new to the game, don’t be afraid to ask around town for a Guardian. Someone will, more often than not, offer their help to you.   How to Become an Apprentice: Don’t know how to take part in this great opportunity of advice and aid? Here's how you get started (follow the pictures): Go to the status icon located on the top left side of the in-game Last Chaos screen. Once the pop up window appears, click on the 3rd tab. This is the Action Tab. Scroll down until you see the “Guardian System” icon. On the icon should be a picture of two guys, one taller one with his hand on the shorter guy’s shoulder. Click on this. Now you can look at all the names of Guardians and choose from the never-ending list. Pick your guardian and a pop up box will appear. Click confirm. You now have a Guardian!! Warning -> You can only have 1 Guardian per character, even though as a Guardian you can have more than one Apprentice.   What NEVER to Do As an Apprentice: Here’s a few pointers on what to avoid as you seek help from your Guardian: Never beg for money or any other items. This only annoys your Guardian and makes him less want to help you. If your Guardian offers to buy you a few items or gives you some cash, that’s fine. But wait for this to happen, don’t ask for items or cash yourself. This only makes you appear greedy, and in turn, annoys you’re your Guardian to the point of frustration. If your guardian doesn’t offer to buy you anything or give you cash, don’t press the matter. It’s fine to ask for help, this is an entirely different matter. For example, you may not know where Lorraine is or how to hatch your baby drake from the drake egg. By all means, ask away. This is what your Guardian WANTS you to do. But begging for cash or items is a big no no.   Rewards for Dedicated Apprentices: So far so good? Great! There’s one other thing that I left out… You can get a special event weapon if you get to level 20 in 10 days! *gasp* The weapon successful Apprentices get is really unique. It can’t be bought from any npcs, nor can be dropped while grinding mobs. It also has a good attack, so you should definitely strive to get to level 20! The faster the better. If you don’t get to level 20 in time by the 10 day limit (the 10 days count while you are out of the game too. It’s not just in-game), you don’t get this special event weapon reward. Feel free to ask your Guardian for help with leveling or find people to party with around the mobs you’re fighting. This will make you level faster, especially if the people you're partying with is around your level, even though you get less exp than you would get if you fought the mobs by yourself. In a party, there are more people fighting mobs with you so you get exp at a much faster rate than if you were by yourself. Also, company makes things more fun!   Downsides to Apprentices: There aren’t any!!!  Requirements to Become an Apprentice: To be an Apprentice, you must be level 10 or lower to apply. Got a new Guardian? Great! Happy leveling =)
