Credit to: Azerothcookbook The Druid Power Over Poison quest chain has five parts:
1- Lessons Anew,

2- The Principal Source,

3- Gathering the Cure,

4- Curing the Sick, and

-5 Power Over Poison.

*** NOTE: Most quests will be much easier if you have a map Addon (allowed by Blizzard) that has map coordinates.

I will give you directions in case you do not have map addons, but this Druid Power Over Poison quest chain walk through also includes the map coordinates in parenthesis like this: (x,y) Visit this link for more information, including how to get free WoW Addons such as Map Notes.
WARNING FOR PvP SERVERS: This quest is for all druids- Horde and Alliance- and Moonglade is contested territory for those of you who are on PvP servers. The biggest problem druids have with this part of the quest series seems to be that those on PvP servers are attacked by higher level druids of the opposing faction. Kind of makes you feel like the warlock imp pet says, "can't we all just get along!" Oh well, I'm sure we are all very impressed with those high level druids who are able to kill much lower level druids, aren't we now? Stick as close to the guards as you can while in Moonglade; the guards will attack anyone who starts a fight in Moonglade.

Quest 1 - Lessons Anew

Start - Mathrengyl Bearwalker, Darnassus (35,8) Finish - Dendrite Starblaze, Moonglade (56,30) Your Task: Travel to Moonglade and speak with Dendrite Starblaze in the village of Nighthaven. Piece of cake.
To start this four-quest chain you need to talk to Mathrengyl Bearwalker in the Cenarion Enclave in north-western Darnassus, on the second floor of the tower in Fandral Staghelm's tree. (35,8) and get the quest "Lessons Anew." You might want to set your hearthstone for Darnassus as you will be returning here at the end of this five quest chain, and that is by far the easiest way to travel.
  Dialogue Mathrengyl Bearwalker:

"You're now ready to learn about poison and the power we as druids have over it, <name>. Cenarius has blessed us with the ability to purge even the most foul of poisons with but a mere incantation. This gift is not to be taken lightly... and to ensure you learn this lesson, you'll work to address the effects of poisonings as a layman would.

"Travel to Moonglade and speak with Dendrite Starblaze; he awaits your arrival to begin your lesson."

To complete the quest you must speak with Dendrite Starblaze in the village of Nighthaven, Moonglade.

You can teleport there using the Teleport Moonglade spell that is permanently in your spell book. (When you did the bear form quest you went to the same place.) The Teleport Moonglade spell will place you right in front of the building in which you will find Dendrite Starblaze. Go inside and up to the second floor. (56,30) Talk to Dendrite Starblaze. You will earn 80-100 XP. Dendrite Starblaze will give you the next quest: "The Principal Source."

Quest 2 - The Principal Source

Start: Dendrite Starblaze, Moonglade (56,30) Finish: Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine, Darkshore (38,41) Your Task: Draw a sample of water from the mouth of the cave by the Cliffspring Falls, and then deliver it to Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine, Darkshore.
NOTE: Some level 14 druids solo this quest with no problems, while others find this quest to be a bit much to handle alone. Consider bringing along a friend level 14 or higher (a warrior or hunter might be good) to watch your back and help with the respawns. Another option is to wait until you are higher level and do it then. (You will be returning to this general area at level 16 when you do the first part of the third quest in the Sea Lion Form quest chain, so that may be a good time to revisit this one.)
Dialogue Dendrite Starblaze:

"The Cliffspring Falls in Darkshore serves as the principal source of drinking water for the region, and now I suspect it is the principal source of the poison that is harming the local fauna - deer specifically. Use this sampler to draw some water from the mouth of the cave; be careful, as dangerous naga now reside in a cave by the falls.

"Once filled, deliver it to Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine. She is the one that requested our aid, and you will work with her to address this malady."
Once you receive the Cliffspring Falls Sampler vial from Dendrite Starblaze drag it onto your toolbar so that it will be easy to use. If you have the fly point for Auberdine in Darkshore, visit the griffon master in Moonglade and fly to Auberdine. If you do not have this yet, take the free ride to Darnassus from the griffon master in Moonglade or hearth back. In Darnassus go behind the bank (30,41) and enter the pink pavillion that tranports you to Rut'theran Village in Teldrassil. Take the path to the sea and turn right and go down the pier to take the free boat ride across the Veiled Sea to Auberdine in Darkshore. The mouth of the cave at the Cliffspring Falls is easy to locate. If you use coordinates it is at (55,33.) From Auberdine travel north along the coast road until you get to the bridge over the Cliffspring River. Cross the bridge to the north side of the river, turn right (east,) and follow the river east to the cliffs. Click here for a full sized map of the Cliffspring Falls. You may run into some bears and nightsabers in this area. You will encounter a Stormscale Wave Rider (naga) on the path to the cave. Use a combination of Roots, Wrath, and Bear form to take it out. Bring your mana back up to full. There wil be a level 17 caster (Stormscale Siren) on the opposite bank of the river, which may pose a challenge. Click on the picture for a larger view.

Mob Avoidance Technique:

You might be able to avoid drawing the aggro of the level 17 Stormscale Siren caster, as well as the level 15 Stormscale baddie just inside the cave, if you sneak up along the far edge of the path to the far left side of the cave opening, and then carefully approach the cave entrance, clicking on the vial on your toolbar until it allows you to fill it. Leave carefully, staying out of the line of sight of the caster. If this doesn't work and the caster goes after you, try pulling the caster with Wrath, and then change to Bear form to kill it. As I mentioned, there will be another naga inside the cave just past the waterfall. Look out for this one when you go to fill the vial.
As soon as you have the vial filled you need to get out of there! The naga respawn very rapidly. Bring the filled vial to Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine, Darkshore. (38,41) You'll find her inside a building just north of the inn.

Dialogue Alanndarian Nightsong: "You're the one that the Cenarion Circle in Moonglade sent? That's wonderful! We've quite the crisis our hands here regarding the poor deer, and we're happy for all the help we can get. "Do you have the sample of water that Dendrite Starblaze said you'd have? He notified me that you'd draw one so we could work on a cure together... By Elune, this water is disgusting! No wonder the deer are sick. "Something is polluting the water, and in turn corrupting Darkshore's entire water table. Sick deer have been seen all over area, and not just by the river. While this water is most likely a primary source of the sickness spreading, there's something else at work here. "This water, believe it or not, will help us formulate a cure. While I research this water, I have need of some items to formulate a cure..."
You will earn 750 XP. Alanndarian Nightsong will give you the next quest "Gathering the Cure."

Quest 3 - Gathering the Cure

Start: Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine, Darkshore (38,41) Finish: Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine, Darkshore (38,41) Your Task: collect 5 Earthroot and 12 Lunar Funguses and bring them to Alanndarian Nightsong

Dialogue Alanndarian Nightsong:

"The water will serve as the base of the curative salve I'll make for the deer. For curative properties, I need some earthroot. Herbalists know how to find it, so if we're unlucky and you aren't one then you'll need to find one to help us out. "Finally for potency, I need some lunar fungus. Finding lunar fungal blooms is easy enough; they're all over the place in caves just to the east of here. Moonkin reside in the caves and they're irritable as of late, so be careful."

A Lunar Fungus Among Us!

Go to the Moonkin Caves to the east of Auberdine. As Alanndarian Nightsong says "finding the lunar fungal blooms is easy enough;" the only problem is the moonkin. There are five moonkin caves fairly close together just east of Auberdine. See the area circled on the map. Coordinates for caves are: (42,45) (42,51) (43,45) (43,48) (46,45) There are a fair number of Moonkin about those caves. See the screenshot. There were more moonkin than this shows. You will have to draw them and kill them one at a time as necessary in order to clear a path to the cave. There will probably be another inside each cave. Once you kill the Moonkin inside the cave look around; the mushrooms are small and spotted and should sparkle or glow. (They used to be difficult to see, but the most recent patch corrected that.) Mouse over them and when the cursor tip changes, right click the mushroom. A status bar will appear, and when it fills you'll receive either 1 or 2 Lunar Funguses. The funguses respawn fairly quickly. You should have no problem collecting all you need from the five available caves.

Save the Earthroot!

Any druid can collect the 12 lunar funguses from the Moonkin caves, but the earthroot is different. Even though earthroot is a quest item here, in order to collect the earthroot you must have the herbalism profession. But, there are alternatives: you can kill certain mobs that drop earthroot, or you can buy earthroot from select vendors or on the Auction House. If you do have herbalism as one of your professions you can find earthroot all around in Elwyn Forest, in the forests in Teldrassil, around the Gol'Bolar Quarry area south-east of Ironforge in Dun Morogh, etc. Killing mobs that drop earthroot may take a while. Timberlings (lvl 5-11) and Nightsaber Stalkers (lvl 7-8) drop them in Teldrassil. If you decide to buy the earthroot, your best bet may be the herb, alchemy, or florist vendors. These vendors have a limited supply, but the supply respawns, so do not despair if the vendor's inventory is low or non-existent when you visit. Just wait a while or check back. If you just can't wait, go check out the Auction House, but be aware that you may have to pay a premium price there, and it may not always be available there, either. From Auberdine you can take a free boat ride to Darnassus to check the AH. If you have a human alt in Stormwind he can visit the vendors or AH and mail your druid the earthroot. You can find vendors in Stormwind at these locations who sell earthroot (last time I checked) for 76 to 80 coppers each: -Florist Gump (gotta love it!) inside the Fragrant Flowers shop (65,60) -Eldraeith, Herbalism Supplies vendor and - Maria Lumere, Alchemy Supplies vendor, both inside the Alchemy Needs shop at (47,80) in the Mage Quarter Click here for the large map with locations of Earthroot Vendors in Stormwind If you bump into Antonio Perelli, the "Traveling Salesman" who wanders the main road from Redridge through Elwynn Forest and down to Westfall, you can also purchase earthroot from him. Here's florist Bernard Gump. Run, florist, run! Return to Alanndarian Nightsong with the items you have collected.

Dialogue Alanndarian Nightsong:

"Have you got the reagents I need to make the salve? The deer aren't getting any better on their own, so we better hurry to help them out! This is good, <name>, so much so that it should be enough to make some ample doses of the salve - at least enough to start to make a difference. "Making a cure for poisons can be quite difficult at times because each one often requires a very specific antidote to counteract it. Imagine being able to cure a poison at will without having to worry about the exact ingredients of what the antidote must be! "Now, let me get to work on this!"
Alanndarian Nightsong will reward you with 75-750 XP and give you the next quest "Curing the Sick."

Quest 4 - Curing the Sick

Start: Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine, Darkshore (38,41) Finish - Dendrite Starblaze, Moonglade (56,30) Your Task: Use the Curative Animal Salve on 10 Sickly Deer in Darkshore.
Dialogue Alanndarian Nightsong: "Use the Curative Animal Salve on 10 Sickly Deer that are located throughout Darkshore; doing so should cure them. Sickly Deer have been reported starting south of the Cliffspring River to the north of Auberdine and extending all the way into southern Darkshore where the edge of Ashenvale begins. "The amount of salve made out of the reagents you brought me is good enough for ten doses, <name>. While I work with the village to try and make some more salve, I'd like for you to help us get a head start. All around Darkshore are sickly deer; use the salve on them and cure their malaise. "Dendrite Starblaze in Moonglade will want to talk to you when you're done, I'm sure. Please extend Auberdine's thanks to the Cenarion Circle there... and let me say thanks to you directly for the help you've given!"
Alanndarian Nightsong will give you the 10 doses of Curative Animal Salve. Drag these onto your tool bar for ease of use. Your mission is to find 10 Sickly Deer that are located throughout Darkshore and use the "Curative Animal Salve" them. Check out these coords: (41,38) (38,36) (42,40) (43,41) for the deer. You can't miss the Sickly Deer; they are the bright green deer with green skulls floating around them in a cloud. See the screenshot. You may encounter the occasional bugged deer that will cause you to waste salve. If you should run out of salve before you have cured 10 sickly deer, you can abandon the quest, return to Alanndarian Nightsong in Darkshore, and start all over again.

Cure two deer for the price of one salve!

Here's a tip that may speed up your quest and help you to avoid running out of salve due to bugged deer. You may have noticed that those sickly deer always try to run away. Well, when you find a sickly deer hit it with rank 1 entangling roots and then apply the salve to cure it. You should get credit for curing it, and then you will get credit again when it dies from the roots! That's two deer credit for one deer and a good deal. (This little glitch was still working as of May 2008.) When you have cured all 10 deer visit Dendrite Starblaze in Moonglade using your Teleport Moonglade spell.
Dialogue Dendrite Starblaze: "Have you completed what was asked of you by Alanndarian Nightsong of Auberdine? Your work is not complete unless it is. " You have done well in tending to the sickly deer of Darkshore; they are unwitting victims of a greater taint and corruption that is spreading all throughout the land. There are those in Darnassus who choose to recognize this threat... and there are those who ignore the growing signs. I hope you will not be one to put blinders on about what facts stare you in the face, <name>. "Regardless, you've proven your worth as a friend of nature and the Circle - take this as a symbol of such."
Dendrite Starblaze will reward you with 75-750 XP and the Veildust Medicine Bag.   The Veildust Medicine Bag:
Binds when picked up. It is held In the off-hand. It gives these bonuses: +1 Intellect; +1 Spirit It is special and only for those of us who are Druids. It restores 50 mana every 3 seconds for 15 seconds. It has a cooldown of 30 minutes. The item is Level 15.
Dendrite Starblaze will give you the next quest "Power Over Poison."

Quest 5 - Power Over Poison

Start - Dendrite Starblaze, Moonglade (56,30) Finish - Mathrengyl Bearwalker, Darnassus (35,8) Your Task: Return to Mathrengyl Bearwalker
Dialogue Dendrite Starblaze: "You've learned what it means to cure poison without the benefit of spiritual aid. Remember what others must endure in fighting poisonous afflictions as you soon embrace your newfound power over poison. "You should now return to Mathrengyl Bearwalker in Darnassus, <name>. He, no doubt, has a very important spell to teach you now that the student understands the lesson given unto him. "Farewell, young druid. We shall speak again."
Well, this is about as easy as it gets. Aren't you glad that you set your hearthstone for Darnassus? Hearth back and return to Mathrengyl Bearwalker in the Cenarion Enclave in north-western Darnassus, on the second floor of the tower of Fandral Staghelm's tree. (35,8) If you didn't set your hearthstone for Darnassus you will have to visit the griffon master in Moonglade and get a ride back to Darnassus. (Look out for PvPers if you are on a PvP server.) When you talk with Mathrengyl Bearwalker he will reward you with 975 XP, and he will train you in the Cure Poison spell. This is an instant cast spell good up to a 40 yard range, and it cures 1 poison effect on the target. There you have the whole Alliance Druid Power Over Poison Quest Chain.

Credit to: Azerrothcookbook This quest chain is for all druids - Horde and Alliance. This is the Horde walk through. Go here for the Alliance Druid Power Over Poison Quest Chain Walk Through. The Druid Power Over Poison quest chain has five parts:
1- Lessons Anew,

2- The Principal Source,

3- Gathering the Cure,

4- Curing the Sick, and

-5 Power Over Poison.

*** NOTE: Most quests will be much easier if you have a map Addon (allowed by Blizzard) that has map coordinates.

I will give you directions in case you do not have map addons, but this Druid Power Over Poison quest chain walk through also includes the map coordinates in parenthesis like this: (x,y) Visit this link for more information, including how to get free WoW Addons such as Map Notes. Do you want your Druid to own? Then you want the Killer Guides Druid Guide - it covers everything from to basics to PvP to Raids to Leveling to making the gold. Get yours here.

Kind of makes you feel like the warlock imp pet says, “can’t we all just get along!” Oh well, I’m sure we are all very impressed with those high level druids who are able to kill much lower level druids, aren’t we now? Stick as close to the guards as you can while in Moonglade; the guards will attack anyone who starts a fight in Moonglade.

Quest 1 - Lessons Anew

Start - Turak Runetotem, Thunder Bluff (76,27) Finish - Dendrite Starblaze, Moonglade (56,30) Your Task: Travel to Moonglade and speak with Dendrite Starblaze in the village of Nighthaven. Piece of cake.
To start this four-quest chain you need to talk to Turak Runetotem in the Elder Rise in Thunder Bluff. (76,27) and get the quest “Lessons Anew.”   You might want to set your hearthstone for Thunder Bluff as you will be returning here to get to The Crossroads and then again at the end of this five quest chain, and that is by far the easiest way to travel.
  Dialogue Turak Runetotem:

“You’re now ready to learn about poison and the power we as druids have over it, <name>. Cenarius has blessed us with the ability to purge even the most foul of poisons with but a mere incantation. This gift is not to be taken lightly… and to ensure you learn this lesson, you’ll work to address the effects of poisonings as a layman would.

Travel to Moonglade and speak with Dendrite Starblaze; he awaits your arrival to begin your lesson.

Dendrite Starblaze will give you the next quest: “The Principal Source.”

Quest 2 - The Principal Source

Start: Dendrite Starblaze, Moonglade (56,30) Finish: Tonga Runetotem, (52,31) Crossroads, The Barrens Your Task: Draw a sample of water from the pool at the top of Dreadmist Peak, and then deliver it to Tonga Runetotem at the Crossroads, Barrens.

“Dreadmist Peak to the northwest of the Crossroads is most likely a primary candidate as to the source of the spread of the poison. Its airy peaks have pools of water that influence the weather patterns. I suspect the water is now tainted by the demon-worshipping Burning Blade.

“Use this sampler to draw water from the pool at the very top of the peak. Once filled, deliver it to Tonga Runetotem at the Crossroads. He is the one that requested our aid, and you will work with him to address this malady”
Once you receive the Dreadmist Peak Sampler vial from Dendrite Starblaze drag it onto your toolbar so that it will be easy to use.   If you do not have your hearthstone set to Thunder Bluff, you will instead visit the flight master in Moonglade and fly first to Thunder Bluff, and then to The Crossroads. Otherwise, just hearth to Thunder Bluff and fly to the Crossroads.

Mob Avoidance Technique:

I‘m going to describe the easiest way up the mountain that avoids the Burning Blade Accolyte camp. That (unofficial) trail starts at (51,22.) Your ultimate goal is the pool at the top of Dreadmist Peak (48,18.) The pool and the beginning of the unofficial trail that I recommend are shown on the map. From the Crossroads take the Gold Road road out of town north to the signpost by the tower where the road from the east makes a T-intersection with the Gold Road. (52,23) Turn left (west) under the tower and run to the right of the small pool towards the mountains (sort of north-west) until you reach (51,22) at the base of the ridge leading up into the mountain. Click on the thumbnail for a full-sized picture of the path to Dreadmist Peak. Continue up this ridge to the top of Dreadmist Peak. The air will turn dark red from the dark red mist. (Just like the name: De red mist - ha, ha!) On the last bit of the mountain you may need to do a bit of zig-zagging to get to the very top. Click here for the full-sized map of Dreadmist Peak.
At the top of Dreadmist Peak you will find a sizeable contingent of Burning Blade Accolyte mobs (see picture,) so be careful! The mobs are level 12 to 15, and they will double team you if they are in pairs. Basically, you will have to kill one group of two mobs. Walk into the pool and double click the flask to collect the sample. Make sure you are back to full health BEFORE you collect the sample from the pool. Also, the mobs respawn quickly.

Click picture for larger image.

Collecting the sample will aggro the other four mobs that you see standing around the pool in the picture. Don’t hang around! Turn into bear form and just RUN AWAY back down the mountain on the same path that you came up. (Be careful not to get turned around and run the wrong way.) If you are concerned about being killed ask for help from a friend or a friendly person hanging around the Crossroads. Bring the filled vial to Tonga Runetotem, (52,31) Crossroads. You’ll find Tonga outside near the second gate after you enter from the north.

Dialogue Tonga Runetotem: “You are the one that the Cenarion Circle in Moonglade sent, yes? This is most fortuitous for us! We are stymied in our effort to bring balance to the sickly gazelles that wander the northern Barrens; we’re happy for all the help we can get. “Do you have the sample of water that Dendrite Starblaze said you’d have? He notified me that you’d draw one so we could work on a cure together… By my ancestors, this water is disgusting! No wonder the gazelles are sick. “Something is polluting the water, and in turn beginning to wreck the northern Barrens ecosystem. Sick gazelles have been sighted all north of the east-west road here. While this water is most likely a primary source of the sickness spreading, there’s something else at work here. “his water, believe it or not, will help us formulate a cure. While I research this water, I have need of some items to formulate a cure…”
You will earn 750 XP.   Tonga Runetotem will give you the next quest “Gathering the Cure.”

Quest 3 - Gathering the Cure

Start: Tonga Runetotem, (52,31) Crossroads, The Barrens Finish: Tonga Runetotem, (52,31) Crossroads, The Barrens Your Task: collect 5 Earthroot and 5 Kodo Horns and bring them to Tonga Runetotem

Dialogue Tonga Runetotem:

“The water will serve as the base of the curative salve I shall make for the gazelles. For curative properties, I need some earthroot. Herbalists know how to find it, so if you are not familiar with this skill you’ll need to find one to help us out. “Finally for potency, I need kodo horns - mere chips and fragments will not suffice. Kodos you can handle wander the northern part of the Barrens; bring some down for the greater good of the balance <name>, and fetch the horns for me.”

5 Kodo Horns

Look for Lost Barrens Kodos (lvl 13-15) north and east of the Crossroads, just south of the Sludge Fen. Check near the Samophlange quest building, (52,12) but watch out for hyenas and raptors in the area, and kill them in order to get to the Kodos. These Kodos should drop horns when killed. If you aren’t having any luck there, you may also find Lost Barrens Kodos around the Stagnant Oasis south-east of the Crossroads. The Kodos there should also drop horns when killed.

Save the Earthroot!

Any druid can collect the 5 kodo horns, but the earthroot is different. Even though earthroot is a quest item here, in order to collect the earthroot you must have the herbalism profession. But, there are alternatives: you can kill certain mobs that drop earthroot, or you can buy earthroot on the Auction House or from select vendors. If you do have herbalism as one of your professions you can find earthroot in the hills and mountains in the Barrens. You’ll find earthroot along the eastern edge of the Barrens, north and south of Ratchet near the hills and mountains. You’ll also find it along the mountain range on the western border of the Barrens. If you want to Kill mobs that drop earthroot, be ready to spend some time. Tenders (lvl 5-7) and Green Keepers (lvl 7-10) drop earthroot in Eversong Woods, as do Corrupted Bloodtalon Scythemaws (lvl 10-11) and Voidwalker Minions (lvl 10-11) in Durotar. If you decide to buy the earthroot, your best bet may be the Reagents, Herbs & Poison, or Alchemy & Herbalism vendors. These vendors have a limited supply, but the supply respawns, so don’t give up if the vendor’s inventory is low or non-existent when you first visit. Just wait a while or check back. Since you’re already in The Crossroads you may as well check with Hula’mahi, the Reagents, Herbs & Poison supplier. If you have a Bloodelf alt in Silvermoon City he can visit Melaris, Alchemy Supplies seller (in the top right corner of the Court of the Sun) or the Silvermoon AH and mail your druid the earthroot.

If you just can’t wait, go check out the AH, but be aware that you may have to pay a premium price there, and it may not always be available. You can find vendors in these locations who sell earthroot (last time I checked) for about 80 coppers each:
  • Hula’mahi, Reagents, Herbs & Poison Supplies, The Crossroads, The Barrens
  • Melaris, Alchemy Supplies, in the top right corner of the Court of the Sun, Silvermoon City:
  • Rathis Tomber, Tomber’s Supplies, The Ghostlands, Tranquillien
  • Selina Weston, Alchemy & Herbalism Supplies, Tirisfal Glades, Brill
  • Montarr, Lorekeeper, Freewind Post, Thousand Needles

Return to Tonga Runetotem with the items you have collected.

Dialogue Tonga Runetotem:

“Have you got the reagents I need to make the salve? The gazelle aren’t getting any better on their own, so we better not tarry in our effort to save them! “This is good, <name>, so much so that it should be enough to make some ample doses of the salve - at least enough to start to make a difference. “Making a cure for poisons can be quite difficult at times because each one often requires a very specific antidote to counteract it. Imagine being able to cure a poison at will without having to worry about the exact ingredients of what the antidote must be! “Now, let me get to work on this!”
Tonga Runetotem will reward you with 75-750 XP and give you the next quest “Curing the Sick.”

Quest 4 - Curing the Sick

Start: Tonga Runetotem, (52,31) Crossroads, The Barrens Finish - Dendrite Starblaze, Moonglade (56,30) Your Task: Use the Curative Animal Salve on 10 Sickly Gazelles in The Barrens
Dialogue Tonga Runetotem:   “Use the Curative Animal Salve on 10 Sickly Gazelles that are located throughout the northern part of the Barrens; doing so should cure them. Sickly Gazelles have been reported north of the east-west road that runs through the Crossroads. “I was able to make enough salve for ten doses of curing, <name>. While I work with local authorities to try and make some more salve, I’d like for you to help us get a head start. All around the northern Barrens are sickly gazelles; use the salve on them and cure their malaise. “Dendrite Starblaze in Moonglade will want to talk to you when you’re done, I’m sure. Please extend our thanks to the Cenarion Circle there… and let me say thanks to you directly for the help you’ve given!”
Tonga Runetotem will give you the 10 doses of Curative Animal Salve. Drag these onto your tool bar for ease of use.   Your mission is to find 10 Sickly Gazelles that are located throughout The Barrens and use the “Curative Animal Salve” them. Check out these coords: (51,38) (52,37) (55,38) (56,38) (47,37) and (53,31) for the gazelles. You can’t miss the Sickly Gazelles; they are the bright green gazelles with green skulls floating around them in a cloud. See the screenshot. You may encounter the occasional bugged gazelle that will cause you to waste salve. If you should run out of salve before you have cured 10 sickly gazelles you can abandon the quest, return to Tonga Runetotem, and start all over again.

Cure two gazelles for the price of one salve!

Here’s a tip that may speed up your quest and help you to avoid running out of salve due to bugged gazelles. You may have noticed that those sickly gazelles always try to run away. Well, when you find a sickly gazelle hit it with rank 1 entangling roots and then apply the salve to cure it. You should get credit for curing it, and then you will get credit again when it dies from the roots! That’s two gazelle credit for one gazelle and a good deal. (This little glitch was still working as of May 2008.) When you have cured all 10 gazelles visit Dendrite Starblaze again in Moonglade, using your Teleport Moonglade spell.
Dialogue Dendrite Starblaze:   “Have you completed what was asked of you by Tonga Runetotem at the Crossroads? Your work is not complete unless it is. “You have done well in tending to the sickly gazelles of the Barrens; they are unwitting victims of a greater taint and corruption that is spreading all throughout the land. You <race> are most eager to understand the ways of Cenarius; you, like your elders in Thunder Bluff, are proving that the need for balance transcends artificial racial barriers. “<name>, you’ve proven your worth as an friend of nature and the Circle - take this as a symbol of such.”
Dendrite Starblaze will give you the next quest “Power Over Poison.”

Quest 5 - Power Over Poison

Start - Dendrite Starblaze, Moonglade (56,30) Finish - Turak Runetotem, Thunder Bluff (76,27) Your Task: Return to Turak Runetotem
Dialogue Dendrite Starblaze:   “You’ve learned what it means to cure poison without the benefit of spiritual aid. Remember what others must endure in fighting poisonous afflictions as you soon embrace your newfound power over poison. “You should now return to Turak Runetotem in Thunder Bluff, <name>. He, no doubt, has a very important spell to teach you now that the student understands the lesson given unto him. “Farewell, young druid. We shall speak again.”
Well, this is about as easy as it gets. Aren’t you glad that you set your hearthstone for Thunder Bluff?   Hearth back and return to Turak Runetotem in the Elder Rise in Thunder Bluff. (76,27) If you didn’t set your hearthstone for Thunder Bluff you will have to visit the flight master in Moonglade and get a ride back to Thunder Bluff. (Watch for PvPers on your way to the flight master if you are on a PvP server.) When you talk with Turak Runetotem he will reward you with 975 XP, and he will train you in the Cure Poison spell. This is an instant cast spell good up to a 40 yard range, and it cures 1 poison effect on the target. There you have the whole Horde Druid Power Over Poison Quest Chain.

After realizing that most guides found the internet were focused on the most played characters classes in World of Warcraft. (I know, I know…..DUH!) I decided to bring along a much needed druid guide to powerleveling. It took a while to find one on the internet that many people have used and feel like it is the best one to post here to help druids out. Anyway, i’ll be quiet now and let you get on with checking out the guide.   NOTE: This build is a bit tweaked toward a PvP server as that is the kind of server that I play on, so you might need to tweak it a little bit for PvE. I’ve also assumed that you’ll be soloing right up until 60 (if you start doing high end instances before then you’ll probably be forced to re-spec Resto like the rest of us are). Also bear in mind this sequence may have a few steps which look pointless but in fact those steps are in there to jump to the next useful talent. Lvl 10 - Nature’s Grasp - rank 1/1 This is for the sole reason that it’s an EXCELLENT backup when you get ganked. Hammer it on and RUN (if you can’t heal and sort them out) Lvl 11 - Lvl 15 - Ferocity - rank 5/5 As we’re going to be concentrating on levelling as fast as possible we’re heading up the Feral Tree as fast as possible. Ferocity is a better choice than Feral Aggression as FE is more for protection, whereas Ferocity helps with attacking. Lvl 16 - Lvl 20 - Feral Instinct - rank 5/5 OR Thick Hide - rank 5/5 This is entirely based on your style of play. If you enjoy sneaking up behind enemies in cat form and then shredding them up go for Feral Instinct. If you prefer to just dive straight in and not bother with stealth go for Thick Hide. Lvl 21 - Lvl 23 - Sharpened Claws - rank 3/3 6% Crit chance increase. Nice little boost for your feral fighting. Lvl 24 - Feral Charge - rank 1/1 Great for duels, 1v1 PvP and stopping mobs tagging other ones. Lvl 25 - Feline Swiftness - rank 1/2 Nothing really significant but a little extra speed in cat form. Lvl 26 - Lvl 28 - Predatory Strikes - rank 3/3 Attack Power increased by 150% of your level. Now that’s a bit better huh? Lvl 29 - Lvl 30 - Blood Frenzy - rank 2/2 OR Primal Fury - rank 2/2 Decision time again. Do you fight more in Bear or Cat? Blood Frenzy = Cat, Fury = Bear. Lvl 31 - Faerie Fire (Feral) - rank 1/1 Saves you having to cast it in caster form. Also helps us get toward better talents. Lvl 32 - Lvl 33 - Savage Fury - rank 2/2 20% increase to damage by many of your feral strikes. Lvl 34 - Feline Swiftness - rank 2/2 Stepping stone.   Lvl 35 - Improved Shred - rank 1/2 Less energy used for Shred… Meh… Lvl 36 - Lvl 40 - Heart of the Wild - rank 5/5 Increases your Intellect by 20%. In addition, while in Bear or Dire Bear Form your Stamina is increased by 20% and while in Cat Form your Strength is increased by 20%!!! Now this is what I’m talking about! Lvl 41 - Leader of the Pack - rank 1/1 Increase in melee crit chance. Lvl 42 - Lvl 43 - Blood Frenzy - rank 2/2 OR Primal Fury - rank 2/2 Balancing the Cat and Bear choice from earlier. Lvl 44 - Improved Shred - rank 2/2 Lvl 45 - Lvl 48 - Improved Nature’s Grasp - rank 4/4 Stepping stone. Can be useful tho as it increases your rooting chance. Lvl 49 - Lvl 53 - Natural Weapons - rank 5/5 10% Damage increase to all strikes. Lvl 54 - Omen of Clarity - rank 1/1 Gives you a free attack/spell when it activates (the faster you melee the more it’ll activate so daggers and cat form help) Lvl 55 - Lvl 57 - Natural Shapeshifter - rank 3/3 30% decrease in the cost to shapeshift. Lvl 58 - Lvl 59 - Brutal Impact - rank 2/2 Slight increase in stun duration for your Bash and Pounce. May also work with Feral Charge but unsure. Lvl 60 - Respec Resto so you can go and fight big nasty monsters or stay the same if you play on Muchos PvP goodness.

The rewards of Druid Epic Flight Form are swift flight form and a trinket. In order to get the Druid Epic Form, though, you will need to follow these directions. Lots of people find that this is well worth it because it helps them progress through the game more quickly and easily. Each step needs to be followed, though, so don’t get too frustrated if you are having some problems. Stay diligent and you should be able to get the Druid Epic Flight Form.   The quest chain begins at the Duider trainer in Thunder Bluff. After that you will be sent to Cenarion Refuge. That’s where you begin. Good luck! The Ward of Wakening You will need to gather 15 bogblossom, 10 ancient lichen, and 10 dreaming glory. You can get the bogblossom from the mushrooms in Zangarmarch. You won’t even need any herbalism skills for this. Awaken the Sleeper Go to Moonglade. Here you will need to use the Ward to awaken Clintar Dreamwalker from the Emerald Dream. Not Just a Dream You will need to escort Clintar Dreamwalker’s spirit as it collects the relics of Aviana. Go Back to Morthis Whisperwing After Clintar Dreamwalker has gathered the relic, you need to take it back to the Cenarion Refuge that’s in Zangamarsh. Go to The Evergrove Talk to Arthorn Windsong. You should be able to find him at the Evergrove that’s in the Blade’s Edge Mountains. Getting the Book of The Raven You will need to use an Aether Ray Eye and a Seer’s Stone to find the raven cult ghosts. After you have found Sai’kkal the Elder, you can ask him about the Book of the Raven. To the Twilight Ridge Go to the Twilight Ridge in Nagrand. Here you will need to talk to Watcher Elaira. Gather the Raven Stones Now you will need to gather the Raven Stones (there are ten of them) and take them to Evergrove, where you can give them to Arthorn Windsong. Getting the Eagle’s Essence You will need to get the Essence of the Eagle by using the bear form to defeat the Guardian of the Eagle. Getting the Falcon’s Essence After getting the Eagle’s Essence, you will need to get the Falcon’s Essence. You can do this by defeating the Guardian of the Falcon while in cat form. Getting the Hawk’s Essence Now you can get the Hawk’s Essence by defeating the Guardian of the Hawk. You should do this while in caster/boomkin form. Once you have the Essence of the Hark, take it to Arthorn Windsong. Defeat the Raven God Now it is time for you to kill the boss that can be summoned from the room that is right before the blast boss. There are a lot of steps required to get Druid Epic Flight Form, but once you have it you will be glad that you do. Be sure to do everything in order so that you can be certain that you haven’t skipped any steps and that you are prepared for the next challenge.

WoW Druid Class Guide

Druids are great characters for players that like to play lots of different classes. Druids are shape shifters so you could potentially play as a caster so that you can heal and cause damage with your spells or you could become a warrior, a rogue, or some other type of character class. It is important for you to remember that regardless of what you choose, you need to pay close attention to your talent tree because it makes quite a difference in the effectiveness of your character.   Druids are great characters but a lot of groups shy away from them because the changing characters can make it difficult for the other group members to know how to act. The uncertainty of a druid’s spec can cause some problems, but there are also advantages. Some groups use a druid as primary healers, but more probably use them as secondary healers. Druids also make good DPS attackers. They can also be good primary tanks and offtanks. If you want to join a group, you just have to know how to market yourself so that your positive attributes seem to outweigh your negatives. You should also mention to the group that druids buffs add thorns as a damage shield. They also add a bonus to all stats, resistances, and armor. If you are certain to approach the group by mentioning these extra buffs, a lot of them will be willing to accept you. After all, you can’t have too many. Items and Equipment for WoW Druids Druids are allowed to wear cloth and leather. They can use all of the maces, daggers, fist weapons, and staves. Many druids prefer the staves because they add bonuses to their caster attributes. The bonuses that come with other weapons are typically more appropriate for other forms. If you are in animal form, you can’t use a proc weapon so you shouldn’t even weaste your time and money getting these items. You should, however, be concerned with your armor. Bear and dire bear form will multiply your armor bonus. You might not have the money to buy a really powerful enchantment, but an even a simple armor patch can be really effective. Professions for Druids There are a couple of combinations that work well for druids. Skinning and leatherworking is good for players that are new to the game because they won’t have the money required to purchase equipment. These professions allow you to make your own equipment. Herbalism and alchemy is also good, especially if creating equipment doesn’t bother you. These professions can make you a lot of money because you will be able to sell herbs and potions. You will also be able to use those potions on yourself. Druid Talents The talents that you choose to purchase can really affect the way that a druid character plays. You should try out new ones to see what kind of an effect they have. When you get the right one for your character it can make all the difference.
