Credits to Tommyhales Hi I am Tommyhales and I’m here to show you how to easily make 200g+ a day with doing basically 30 minutes work. Now what I mean by 30 min's is that it takes around 10-30 mins to do 1 run.   All you need is 150 enchanting to be level 60+ and best choice is an epic ground mount but you don’t need this. what you do is go to zul'farrak wile in there mount up and run past as many mobs as possible without pulling aggro only kill if u have to or can’t lose aggro. now with this method its advised to get the mallet for the boss all you do is run around killing only bosses and picking up there loot then de'ing it Here is a small video of me doing this. YouTube Preview Image   So basically all you do is run into the instance grab boss loot and disenchant it. Next part of the guide... Small Radiant Shard’s Ok to do this you must have an enchanting level of 125 and the scarlet key. To get the key all you got to do is run a library and take it at the boss. Ok go to armoury and sneak past all mobs and go to herald or however you spell it lol. Kill him and de his blue to get a small radiant shard here is a small video of me doing this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP_gG--GsS4   On my server nagrand large radiant shards sell on average 10-20 gold and small radiant shards sell 5-15 gold each, you can get around 20-40 large radiant shard’s a day and you can get 4 small radiant shard’s a hour and it takes 5-8 minutes to do a run. Thanks for reading hope this guide helps and I will be writing more guide’s

Johanneslars 17. succesful moneymaking tips

Credits to Johanneslars 1. Professions Are A Good Start: Primary and Secondary professions are good places to begin making money from. Most professions allow you to make goods for other characters that you can sell to them. 2. Learn To Use The Auction House (AH): The AH can be your lifeblood whether you are dealing in potions, epic weapons, or reagents. Learning to use it can be tricky, but is more than worth it when you find a hot commodity. 3. Keep Your Eye On The Trade Channel: When you can, keep your eyes on channel 2 because occasionally you will find very good deals as many people are competing with the AH in terms of price and this can be even better if a particular market is in a slump. 4. Know What You Are Selling: This seems to be common sense, but if you look up item A and it has 5 more uses than item B, it's probably going to sell better. If item A is a trade good or consumable, it should be easier to manufacture. The better you get at making Item A, the better the feel for the market you will get. 5. Know Thy Market: This goes along with knowing what you're selling. If you sell an item long enough, you get a feel for the average price on the server (a good way to know when someone is trying to cheat you), the major players in niche markets, and exactly how much profit margin you can get for your sale. 6. Invest In Macro Training: If you are planning to bark out that you are doing enchants in a busy city, make sure that you can do so without needing to type a small paragraph each time. 3 lines seems to be the respectable max for a post in the trade channel. 7. Fishing May Be Boring, But Worth It: You would be suprised at what fisherman pull up. Yes, I know it's boring sometimes, repetitive all the time, and most of the time you get worthless fish. But if you know where to fish, that changes the game. Fish schools of specific fish like Oily Blackmouth or Firefin Snappers and they sell well in a stack. Find yourself with some Stonescale Eels and they sell for gold. Not to mention all the junk you can get out of the water from wreckage. 8. Make Alts Work For You: An ALT is an alternative character often on the same server. If you have some extra materials that can be processed and resold, send them off to the alt, log in an hour later and run them through the profession of choice (will require leveling in most cases), send them back and resell. 9. Have An Alt In A Capital City: Since you don't always play Alts, a tip I read about somewhere made the suggestion to have an Alt in a capital city so that your main character doesn't always have to travel back to post item in the AH. Definitely a good idea if your character is going to be away in the wilds for a bit. This works as long as you can easily get to a mailbox. 10. Gold Farmers Are People Too: This is fast becoming a time honored tradition in WoW that is simultaneously loved and hated for various reasons. If you're good about it, farming from a gathering skill in the right areas is like panning for gold and consistently getting it. 11. Be Nice To People: Another no brainer, but be sure to be nice and respectful when closing a sale because they are paying you for something that they could get somewhere else. Plus, it might even net you some additional sales down the road and increase your reputation on the server. 12. Don't Be A Ninja: If you're in a group and you need an item, ask first. If you just want that item, again, ask. If you roll need on a item you can't use or just because, that makes you a ninja, and yes, ninjas don't get re-invited into groups. 13. Hit The Smaller Instances: If you are a higher level player (45-80), there are lesser instances that you can solo to get additional money. Granted, most items coming from places like ShadowFang Keep and BlackFathom Deeps aren't worth a lot, but keep your eye out for rare items that fetch handsome prices on the AH as players buy them for ALTs. 14. Find Limited Recipes: Most recipes can be bought from a specific vendor, however some can only be bought once or maybe twice from a vendor in a certain time frame. The recipes that have limited availability and have a vendor who may not be easy to get to will usually sell very well. 15. Secondary Profession Books: A corollary to the above rule might be to not sell unlimited purchasable items. However, the exception to that rule is that books for advanced Cooking, First Aid, and Fishing tend to sell marginally well and can be usually purchased for a gold a piece. Sell it for 1.5 or 2 gold on the AH and that profit will add up over time. Just be careful not to flood the market with these. 16. Ride Like The Wind: I know part of the reason for these tips is to be able to purchase a mount, but once you have a mount, that is a tremendous speed boost in your gathering ability that can help you earn money at a faster rate. Plus, it's nice to be able to travel at faster speeds. 17. Neutral Auction Houses Keep you eye out for factional type stuff that can be sold over the neutral AH for a decent profit. Recipes, pets, items, and more can all be sold for gold if you have the patience.

How to get the most out of Quest Rewards

Posted on 2008-12-01 by adminNo comments

Credits to Arkaen About the Guide : A short but, hopefully helpful, guide that will help you save gold. Whether it be at level 80, finishing up Northrend quests, or at level 10, deciding on a quest reward when you can't use any of them. This will make saving easier, as long as you do it properly!

Table of Contents
  1. The Purpose
  2. Addons
  3. How to Succeed
  4. Conclusion

1. The Purpose; Why You Should Read This Simple List :
  • You don't waste quest rewards.
  • You easily get 5~g per quest reward in early Northrend, ramping up as you go.
In-depth: Using this guide, you will not choose unnecessary quest rewards only to find that they are not upgrades, and ending up losing money. For example, if Reward A sells for 2g at a vendor, but Reward B sells for 4, and neither are upgrades, you gain 2g by knowing that beforehand. Without knowing it beforehand, you may lose 2g because Reward A was for your spec but Reward B wasn't.
2. Add-ons; Helpers of the Questers
  • Rating Buster - An add-on of great significance when deciding on a quest reward. Simpler stats? Yes please! Simpler item comparison and deciding if an item is an upgrade is the biggest purpose. In the end, it alone can save you much money, since you will not waste quest rewards only to see your DPS, TPS, or HPS go down after you equip it. Much less disappointment, and much more gold; I'll let you decide if it's a fair trade!
  • Sellfish - Another key add-on in the art of making money from vendor trash, also, not just quest rewards! At low levels, this can save you by helping you decide which piece of gray loot you throw out to get that quest item, thus losing the least money possible. This and Rating Buster go hand in hand because when none of the quest rewards are an upgrade, you get a larger amount of gold than just clicking on one and turning the quest in. It when combined with Rating Buster is an add-on of great worth in the process of making money from quest rewards.

3. How To Succeed; From Rags to Riches. Now, on to the main purpose of this guide, which is fairly simple. The key things to do to make additional gold from your quests are to..
  1. Make sure you're getting upgrades. Using Rating Buster, you should compare the stats on the gear usable to you, to check for upgrades. If none are found, you continue onto step two..
  2. When using gear better than a quest reward, mouse over each of them, and select the one that has the greatest number after the gold symbol. If they give the same amount, look at the number after the silver symbol, and so on. This may be after "Sells For:" instead, depending on your version of Sellfish.

4. Conclusion; Why I'm glad I wasted time on this guide. I'm glad I spent time on this guide because, if all goes well, this may help many people gain a lot of money. This way, they'll be able to get things such as their epic fliers, Grand Mammoth Caravans, and everything else without as much wasted time. I'm hoping for criticism, and for this guide to be actually accepted, and used, by the public. Ha!

How To Make World of Warcraft Gold with Auctioneer – Part I

Posted on 2008-11-27 by adminNo comments

Loading ... Loading ...

There are many ways to earn gold in the World of Warcraft. For those of you who are looking for some excitement, you can earn money from buying low and selling high just like doing trades in the stock market. In this article, you will learn how to buy and sell epic and blue weapons/armor using the Auction House and an add-on called Auctioneer.

What is Auctioneer?

Auctioneer is an application developed by Norganna’s add-ons which was designed to be used with the World of Warcraft’s Auction House. Auctioneer gathers the data of sellable items in either the Auction house or to vendors. Some of the information includes current price, bid and buyout, price per stack, etc.

Auctioneer captures market data over a period of time giving you an idea of the market price trends. For more information on Auctioneer visit www.auctioneeraddon.com. If you don’t have Auctioneer you can download it from the web address above. You will also find directions on how to install it to your PC.

Configure Auctioneer…

Now it’s time to configure Auctioneer with specific search parameters. Start by setting up the search parameters under the Search Auctions tab. Listed below is each search parameter.

  • Buyout / profit 5g / percentless 25%/ item quality: rare/category restriction: armor/

  • Buyout / profit 5g / percentless 25%/ item quality: rare/category restriction: weapon/

  • Bid / profit 5g / percentless 25%/ item quality rare/category restriction: armor/

  • Bid / profit 5g / percentless 25%/ item quality rare/category restriction: weapon/

Fill in each field, give it a description and click save. Here’s a screen shot showing one of the searched parameters already entered in the fields:

Building your data…

For this method you only need two catagories checked and scanned, weapons and armor. Start by scanning the AH daily. At least 2 scans per day for a week at the minimum should give you a solid database of the items sold in the Auction House. See screen shot below:

Getting Started…

Buying and Selling Epic and Rare weapons/ armor

This method of earning World of Warcraft gold is by far the riskiest of all the strategies on this website. However, it is possible to double even triple your gold with just one item. I remember scanning the AH and found a Precisely Calibrated BoomStick for 50g, I bought-it out and re-listed it for 179g. Average Auction House buy-out price on this item was 250g. Within 2 hours someone bought-out my listing and I made an easy 129g profit.

Yes I could have made more, but I wanted a quick sale. If I had listed it for more, my listing could have expired costing me another re-listing fee. These are some of the risk factors you have to take into consideration when determining a price to sell at.

The reason why it’s so risky is that the AH fees are very high for epic and rare items. If no one buys on your first, second or third listing, you’ve just wasted a huge amount of gold in listing fees alone.

Step 1:

To get started, use Auctioneer and scan the auction house using the saved pre-set search variables under the “Search Auctions Tab”. You will then get a list of all the epic/blue items that are currently under priced in the Auction Houses. The list will show you the current Bid/Buyout price and the potencial profit. See screen shot below:

Step 2:

Look for an item that meets the criteria mentioned below.

Step 3:

Do a back check on the price of the item through Allakhazam. You want to be sure of the items true value before you invest in it. Doing this will help reduce the risk of making a bad decision.

Step 4:

Once you are sure of the items true value and it’s at least 25% below market, buy it out or bid on it.

Step 5:

Re-list the item using Auctioneers recommended starting bid and buyout price.

Here are a couple of tips to lessen the risk before you get started

  • Always buy epic or blue items that are near the 19, 29, 39 and 49 levels. Items near these levels are considered twink items and are usually snapped up quickly depending on the item and stats.

  • Try to avoid epic or rare items that have unusual stats. A two-handed sword with +49 spirit is probably something that won’t sell.

  • Before you buy an epic or blue item that meets the criteria above, do some research on it by visiting Alakhazam.com. Often times, Auctioneer will come up with a bogus price for the item because someone will either list it too cheap or too high. This can throw off auctioneer’s price. By looking it up, you will get an average bid/buy-out price for the item across different servers.

  • For this method to work, you need to have the most current data in your Auctioneer. To do this, simply scan the Auction House twice a day for a week. Now that your Auctioneer is now ready to scan the Auction House using your preset variables.

  • Sell your items on the weekends. Start listings in the morning with a 24hr duration.

Conclusion

This strategy isn’t fool proof. You can lose money if you do not put the time into researching items, updating Auctioneer data and not paying close attention to the items you’re investing in. If you’re the conservative, faint of heart type, then this is not for you. However, if you enjoy taking risk like I do, then “How To Make World of Warcraft Gold with Auctioneer” will show you how.

Gathering the Gold in Wrath of the Lich King

Loading ... Loading ...
Wrath of the Lich king has landed and the World of Warcraft has changed. There are new talents, new builds, new gear, new areas to explore, and so on, but one of the areas that hasn’t changed much is in the gold making techniques. Gathering is unchanged, except for discovering the new things to gather. Demand for green drops from mobs will probably be strong for awhile since much of it is better than the epic stuff people had at level 70. Certain crafted items (especially glyphs) will sell very well and the materials to make the popular enchants and crafted items will sell very well. The only real difference here will be in exactly which crafts and enchants are popular. So here are my guesses for gold earning in Wrath. Keep in mind that prices will drop as more and more people start farming Northrend. Skinning – As always, skin everything you can. Sell the scraps, too. Keep an eye on the Auction House for which skins sell best and which hot crafting recipes require those skins. Find areas where people are just grinding away for XP and skin everything they kill. Mining – Cobalt and Titanium await you. Engineering, Blacksmithing, and Jewelcrafting will create a demand for these ores and that demand should stay strong for a long time. Cobalt look like it’s going for almost 50g for a 5 stack at the moment, on Bloodscalp. Mining should be interesting on the PvP servers… Herbalism – Now that Wrath of the Lich King is here people will get back to raiding, which will require the usual collection of potions, created from the various herbs that you will be picking. Plus there’s Inscription, which has driven the price of herbs way up, since the inscription ink come from herbs. Right now the prices for Northred herbs are truly grim, 20-40 gold per herb. With much of the playerbase arriving in Northrend, gathering away, I don’t think Northrend herbs will stay at that price for long, which is great for scribes, but less great for herbalists. With herbs at 20 gold a stack it costs about 4 or 8 gold to make one glyph. With herbs at 300 gold a stack… Outland herbs, which have been cheap for some time now, might go up as the gatherers head to Northrend. If Northrend herbs are selling at 100 gold a stack, right now, how many stacks can you farm? As always, check prices on the Auction House first. Fishing and cooking – Some fish will likely be needed for Alchemy, as well as for cooking, and some might turn out to do interesting things (such as Savory Deviate Delight.) Of course, certain foods are in demand for the buffs they provide and those foods should sell well. Looting – As usual, keep a close eye on any white or better items you loot in your day to day monster mashing. Some of these items will be valuable. Send them to your banker to sell, don’t vendor them. Limited items – I have no doubt that there will be a number of new “limited items” appearing on various vendors. Keep an eye on these as several might sell for a very nice profit on the Auction House. Make your own list of “limited item” vendors as you travel the new lands. Speaking of the Auction House… This really is the area where people can make some serious gold. There are two basic ideas here, both of which require a good understanding of the market on your server.
  1. buy low and sell high is a tried and true one. Herbs for example. If an herb (or ore, or…) normally goes for 30gold a stack and you see that someone has dumped a bunch of stacks for 5 gold, buy them up and resell them (or send them to your favorite scribe.) If prices are starting to look depressed then just hold those items for a few days and keep a close eye on the AH. Post them at a higher price when the market allows.
  2. Find holes in the market and fill them. If a certain glyph is rare and selling for a high price then see if you can make a few of that glyph and sell them for that high price. Same with herbs. If the market needs a few more of a certain herb, because prices are so high, go out and farm a few.
Your banker: Lastly, consider using a low level alt to do all of your buying and selling. It’s less distracting than if you use your main character, plus you’ll be able to focus on making gold and not spending it on better stuff. Just make a level 1 character to be your “Banker” and run to the nearest big city and park in the Auction House. Next have your main character mail your banker some starting money (for auction fees.) Then as your other characters collect sellable loot and limited items they mail all of those items to the banker for resale. There are a lot of ways to make gold in the World of Warcraft and the above suggestions are only a few of them. To learn many more gold making techniques you should consider taking the advice of someone who has made enough WoW gold to hit the gold cap (over 230,000 gold) on each of four separate characters. He’s the Warcraft Millionaire and, as you can see, he knows what he’s talking about.

How to Make World of Warcraft Gold with Enchanting using the Auction House, Auctioneer and Enchantrix…

Posted on 2008-11-26 by adminNo comments

Loading ... Loading ...

If you are an enchanter, you may be interested in making gold by dis-enchanting (DEing) items and selling the mats in the Auction House. This can be a very profitable business if done correctly.

How it works

You will basically use auctioneer to find bargains for green items in the +50 level range and DE them into mats. The price you pay for the green item must be lower that the price of the mats. Enchantrix will tell you what type of mats you’ll get and the current AH price for those mats.

So for example, if you find a green item for 1g50s and the DE’d mats from that item is 1x illusion dust with a value of 2g50, your profit would be 1g.

The good thing about enchanting mats is that there is no deposit fee. So, if the mats don’t sell, you can re-list without losing money.

To get started you’ll need:

  • To have your enchanting skill at 300.

  • To be at least level 56

  • To have Enchantrix installed

  • To have Auctioneer installed with the latest data

You will basically be dis-enchanting green armor and weapons. Green armor will disenchant into dust with occasional essence and rare shards. Green weapons will disenchant into essences with the occasional dust and rare shards.

With an enchanting skill of 300 and a character level of 56, you’ll be able to get Illusion Dust, Greater Eternal Essence and large Brilliant Shards.

Auctioneer and Enchantrix

If you’re not familiar with Auctioneer or Encahntrix, they are both mini applications (Add-Ons) that work with the Auction House. Both Auctioneer and Enchantrix are apart of the same suite of products.

For more information visit http://wiki.norganna.org/Enchantrix. For more information on Auctioneer visit: http://auctioneeraddon.com

To get Auctioneer up to date once it is installed, scan the Auction House twice a day (once in the morning and once in the evening) for a week.

Getting Started

To get started you will need to configure Auctioneer with a couple of variables as shown below.

  • Buyout / profit 1g / percentless 25%/ item quality: uncommon/category restriction: armor/

  • Buyout / profit 1g / percentless 25%/ item quality: uncommon/category restriction: weapons/

Now that you have your search variable saved, its time to scan the auction house. From there, click on the search auctions tab and do a search using either search variable.

Auctioneer will then find all the armor or weapons items that are listed at 25% or more below market.

Make sure to look at the Enchantrix tool tip to see if the item can be DE’ed and buyout all green items that are cheaper than the mats they DE into.

Collect your items from the mail and start DEing them.

Post all your mats back to the Auction House. If you get several of the same mats, stack them together rather than listing them individually.

Use 24 hour Auction duration.

Collect money the next day.

Rinse and Repeat.

If some of your mats did not sell the first round, re-list them. As mentioned before there is no deposit fee so don’t worry.

How much gold you make will depend on how much you’re willing to invest. I would suggest investing a small amount of gold in just a few items at first just so you get a feel for how it works and to see if this method of money making is for you. Good luck and thanks for reading “How to make world of warcraft gold with enchanting”.
