World of Warcraft clothing creators J!NX has been spreading its wings lately, introducing the first in a new line of t-shirts for NCsoft’s recently-launched Aion. The J!NX Aion line follows the company’s recent journeys into the universe of EVE Online , and while those shirts are certainly attractive enough, they make me think of mining ore and falling asleep at my desk. The Aion shirts, on the other hand, make me want to give up my habit of wearing a button-up shirt over a t-shirt in order to show off my plumage. I have always wanted plumage. Check out the full J!NX Aion line at the company’s website, and be sure to check out the Dungeons & Dragons page as well, because there is nothing as beautiful as a t-shirt that says “Rock Me Asmodeus.”

A recent developer’s blog offered explanations for changes to faction ships in the upcoming Dominion expansion for CCP Games’ sci-fi MMO, EVE Online. The post focused on the reasoning behind the changes and offered answers to questions asked during the initial feedback process.

When (faction ships) were first designed, it was believed they would be high in the food chain as they boasted improved performance over standard hulls at that time. However, as expansions passed, new vessels were introduced, mostly tech 2, but also higher tiers in the case of battleships, all of this turning faction ships into vessels nobody wants to fly because of their antiquited attributes next to their acquistion tag.

Atlantica Online is bringing back turn-based and strategic gameplay to give a fresh face to the MMO world. A thinking person’s game, Atlantica Online gives players the chance to really strategize using the combat, mercenary and city/country management system.

Atlantica Online is a strategic turn-based MMORPG that combines innovative combat with character/party development and city/country management. Players take on the quest to destroy the Oriharukon, a powerful energy sensor from the lost civilization of Atlantis that survived and is now endangering humanity. This journey will take players around the globe, to locations like the Great Wall of China and the pyramids of Egypt, and they will come face-to-face with monsters ripped from history and lore, such as the ruthless Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu and Dracula.

Ndoors Interactive will be adding a new mercenary class in Atlantica Online, just one aspect of a large Fall update to the game that brings a variety of new features, fixes, and fun.

It’s been a little while since we have seen any lists from the NPD Group on retail PC game sales. The organization decided to no longer release their weekly top 10 PC game sales lists to the media but today they did release their top 20 best selling PC games for the month of September in retail stores. It’s not a shock to learn that NCsoft’s fantasy MMO Aion was the number one best selling PC game for the month as it was already selling well in pre-orders online. The Collectors Edition made it to number four for the month. EA’s The Sims 3 continues to do well in the number two slot while Cryptic Studios’ super hero MMO Champions Online made a strong debut at number 3. Blizzard’s MMO expansion World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King made it at number four. One interesting note before we get to the list itself. Phantom EFX has two of their popular casino PC games in the top 20 list but their hardcore PC FPS Darkest of Days, released in September, failed to make the top 20.1. Aion – NCsoft2. The Sims 3 – Electronic Arts3. Champions Online – Cryptic Studios/Atari4. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King – Blizzard5. Aion Collector’s Edition – NCsoft6.
